I just freakn LOVE ur vids! The good natured humor and tomfoolery Never fail to make me smile. I work at an independent Tree and Shrub farm and I'm always seeing things on ur channel that we don't have in our stock. I bring some of them to the owners attention hoping we might get an order.
What a conundrum you have me in Justin. Every time I watch your videos I just want to try one of everything. Problem. I just don't have the space for them all so I will say thanks for the great information and really try hard to narrow down my choices. You are awesome! Cheers
This plant is tried and true with no help at all. The color is so showy and bright that it’s become one of my fave shrubs in the garden. Loving your videos! 💚
Man. I loved this shrub until I realized it spreads and I’ve been battling it in my front garden bed for the last 2 years. Been in my yard as a specimen hedge for 6-7 years. Guess the conditions are too favorable 😂. Still an outstanding show in my yard.
Ours grow like 6-7’ tall easy! Idk if we got a different than what was on the tag. The commercial landscapers put 5 of these in a 12’ span, we removed two and each one of the 5 is at least a 4’wideX5’8”tall shrub. I say 5’8” cause that’s my husbands height and they’re all at least as tall as him. We have to prune them at least 3 times a season cause they grow over our house numbers.
I live in London, UK. I’m in the process of planting some structural plant in my garden, ever green. What would you recommend. I have one long bed in my back garden that I can see from my kitchen. It’s quite sad to see nothing green while I’m cooking or working in kitchen. Plz suggest something. 🙏🏻
I bought 2 sunshine ligustrum last year from Southern Living. They never turned that beautiful yellow color even though they get plenty of sun & growing larger. They are a dull pale green & very disappointing. Should I feed them with Holly Tone next Spring, or do you have another suggestion ?
Just wondering if "Sunshine" is like the other Lugustrum that I don't like personally. Inv😢asive. Stinky smell. I would look into this before planting one.

You have made me believe that I am a plant person! Thank you for these videos
Hi Justin. Your enthusiasm cracks me up 😂. I always enjoy watching you! ❤
I just did a bunch of crimson fire Loropetelum & Sunshine ligustrum groupings in my landscaping. Love the purple and yellow/green together 👍👍👍

They are my favorite as well. I have 3 in my landscape. Love that year long pop of color
Very nice plant and colour 🎉🎉🎉
Love your videos. I like how you tell the name of the plant and how to care for it. I need a local nursery like yours.😅😅😅
Great video…. Honest & fun- hurray for privets!

hmmm let me see...yes, cause it's bright as the sun!!!!
They’re all beautiful. It would be helpful if you mentioned not only their zones but also if they’re deer resistant or not. Thank you.
I would love to work at the greenhouse. I am near. my hubby use to work with your dad.
Dude your vid’s rock!thanks for all the education.
I get some of those from you guys and they growing wonderful..!! Just a quick question when is a good time to trim it both.?
I paired Sunshine Ligustrum and cerise charm. they do look great
😂 your funny and silly! The neighbor reference … wish I could grow this- I’m in zone 5b unfortunately
I did not catch the name of the dark purple plant😢 please tell me! I will definitely try and get both, they look stunning together!
Cerise Charm Lorepetalum :)
I have these, but they are not doing well and almost dead. Can you plant them when they are too young?

Competing would never occur to my neighbors.
What shrub is the plum one?
I LOVE that accent.
Where are you located to come shop?
Omg I pray Wisconsin will transition to a zone 6 someday so I can run and get me one!!!! 😂😂😂
My sunshine ligustrum is looking sad and bare. What should I do!?
What’s the purple one called
Cerise Charm Loropetalum
I’ve three of these in the west facing border; needs very little care and likes sunlight in Zone 8 (DFW, Texas area).
What was name of the purple plant?

That is very odd! Were they bright gold when you first bought them?
@@skgreenhouse no, but they were small in one gallon pots
@@skgreenhouse should I yank them & try again ? Too bad they’re 5 ft already
@@rosiesingleton6480 it sounds like they were mislabeled. The only reason they would be green is if they were in shade.
@@skgreenhouse maybe I should order them from you guys
Does this plant have those flowers the smell horrible? I have Privet hedges and they bother me when they bloom. Thanks

You may be talking about something different. This doesn’t have a smell. No flowers grow from this one. The show is all in their leaves.
I got one once and I watered it the sun and heat killed it
I didn’t catch the name of purple plant bought three of the evergreen one I’m going to plant in my front garden need the name of purple one
Privets of any kind should be outlawed for sale!
you damn cute
This can't be grown in zone 5. What's can be grown in zone 5.
😂
