Ohio State's quarterback situation got levels better when they signed, Howard, just from game time experience alone. McCord lacked that energy you saw in Justin Fields, and some of the QBs in the recent past . If we had Howard, last year it would have been a whole different story.

First the OSU defense was #2 in the nation last year and return almost everyone and added Downs. IMO they will have the nations top defense in 2024. The offense is less about if Howard passing ability and is more about what he brings to the overall running game. Last season, game after game after game you would see the DE at the snap of the ball was crashing down to hit the running back completely ignoring any run threat by the qb. Such an approach in 2024 will be disasterous for any defense foolish enough to use such an approach.
Im taking the Over on OSU win total. Michigan at 9.5 is a MASSIVE reach. Spare me all the hoopla. This has turned out to be a Full rebid job of the coaching staff. That is hard to pull off for a veteran HC and magnatudes more difficult for a rookie HC. Compounding those challenges is the fact that you are having to totally rebuild the offensive line and do that with a 1st year starting QB. Significant losses on the roster due to early exits and graduation losses is asking a ton from any coach. The schedule does them no favors and you have the looming specter of NCAA sanctions and an second incoming N.O.A. hanging over the program. TCUN wont be even remotely close to 10 wins. This season markes the beginning of their decent into Dantes Inferno of hell for their football program.
It will be OSU vs Oregon for the B1G championship
