Holy Cow! I was walking down the church hallway and I saw you Dave Butler!!!!🙌🏼 You were talking to someone so I didn’t want to interrupt but I was thinking: It’s YOU🫵 My ward starts at 1:30 pm. Someday, I hope to shake your hand. I’m a Lamanite little old lady from Alaska👵🏻 House of Manasseh 🎉

I just want to say Don’t Miss This has absolutely transformed my experience with the scriptures.
I’m Sunday school teacher in my YSA ward and also a freshmen in college.
It’s difficult balancing my studies of both.
But when I felt overwhelmed or frustrated, I turned on Don’t Miss This…. And I’d feel the spirit so strongly.
I’m not sure I’d be able to keep up with the scriptures without you guys, especially studying Isaiah which normally takes so much concentration and research to understand.
I can’t put into words how much I connect to your stories and your insights- it feels like the Savior Himself is walking with me, and talking to me personally.
Nothing else makes me want to rejoice and praise my Savior and Redeemer more
    I can’t thank you enough ❤

This analogy parallels your comments Grace...enjoy!
When GOD wanted to create fish, he spoke to the sea.
When GOD wanted to create trees, he spoke to the earth.
But when God wanted to create man, he turned to himself.
Then God said: “Let us make man in our image and our likeness”.
    If we take a fish out of the water it will die;
and when we remove a tree from the soil, it will similarly die.
Likewise, when a man is disconnected from GOD, he dies.
GOD is our natural environment. We were created to live in his presence.
We have to be connected to him because it is only in him that life exists.
    Let’s stay connected to GOD.
Let’s remember once again that water without fish is still water but fish without water is nothing.
The soil without a tree is still soil but the tree without soil is nothing.
GOD without man remains GOD but a man without GOD is nothing.

I'm so excited for Jesus Christ's return, His second coming! And now even more so, because of what David said about the knowledge of The Lord covering the earth. I always just thought about that as all people on earth knowing Him, and who He is etc , but David's thoughts on it being so much more for us to learn about Him!!!!!🥹🥹🥹💖💖💖

We are saved by His Grace...on top of all we do (our efforts plus his)...alongside all that we do (take My yoke upon you, beside Me...as a covenant)...and even despite all we may have done (that we weren't pleased with).

I was wondering, since the Easter advent calendars are out, would you be willing to share digitally what is on them? I have a chalkboard I would love just to just hand write the verses and titles/definitions you chose for the calendar if you don’t mind sharing them that way?

Could you do me a huge favor. I am old and my husband is bedridden, so we don’t get to church…. ( that’s my excuse Bawhahahahaha)
Would you please make the writings on the word of the week darker. Bolder. With the lights glaring off the TV we cannot see it or read it.
Maybe I’m just lazy and should look up the meanings.
    Ps
Love you both. You are our church when we can’t get Zoom to work… you strengthen the spirit in our home.
    Thank you

I just received the Deseret Book catalog, which lists the Christ-centered Easter Creche by Freedom and Butler. I went to order it, and it's out of stock. Any idea when it will be available? The worker at Deseret Book said it's not being made anymore. Is that true?

15:10 - hold on! The footnote clearly indicates that it’s the King of ASsyria speaking in v. 13-14, not God. The king of ASsyria is boasting in his own wisdom!
