Happy YT channel anniversary, Jason! Can’t image life without CHF 💗 Thank you for sticking with it and for the many years of hard work and dedication, spreading positivity and joy to so many!!! 🫶🏼 Mrs CHF/Brooke’s channel is awesome too!! Y’all have created a wonderful community both online and locally!!! 😊 Love y’all
I got a hold of my cousin who works in the AG department at the University of Arkansas (Woo Pig Sooie!) She is currently the Greenhouse Manager at the University of Arkansas Agricultural Experiment Station-Division of Ag and studied Crop and Soil Environmental Science at the U of A as well as studying College of Agriculture CropSci with a major in Agronomy. She was also heavily involved in the study of Soybeans there. I explained to her what you were dealing with and asked her if she had dealt with Kudzu Bugs/Beetles at her job. She said she hasn't dealt with the Kudzu Bug but has dealt with OTHER Stink bugs. She said they are attracted to white walls, (as in the walls of a house), which I thought was interesting. She also said "To control kudzu bugs on bean family plants, he’d (meaning you) need to use insecticide sprays containing a synthetic pyrethriod as the active ingredient like bifenthrin, permethrin, cyfluthrin, and lamda-cyhalothrin. However, I am not sure if those chemicals have a residual time on them for being able to consume the products aftwards. " I hope that helps.
Chestnut Hill, we truly appreciate your lending Jason & Brooke a hand with getting Moo’s scratching post. Everyone needs a friend like you. Thank you so much. 👍👍
I know y'all hear this all the time, but Mildred and Moody make such a cute couple. Him so big and her so petite (in her own way), and their colors offset each other, and so often standing side by side. I hope they never need to be separated from each other. Jason, talking about scratch and sniff, that may very well be a great thing for the merchandise. Stickers. And calendars showcasing different couples, like Mildred and Moody, The honeymooners. The Victorian crown pigeons, etc. Just an idea. Love y'all bunches. I know you both stay very busy, and have enough on your plates.
We totally understand Mary Carl wanting privacy! I remember those years vividly! Thank goodness those years go fast. We love you guys and all your beautiful babies ! Have a blessed week everyone!
My days are brighter when I see you and Brooke working together on Cog Hill. I’ve been with you for about 5 years now. God bless you both. Prayers for Brooke’s health.
Holly is such a happy dog. Thank you for including her in your videos. I know videos can only show glimpses of your farm and lives, but on the flip side, you don't know how much of a joy and treat it is to see your videos every day. Now "m heading over to Chestnut Hill to thank them.
I have a blind pigeon and the best thing I found to have for him is a area that never changes. His area is always the same so he could learn his surroundings and feel comfortable. I know she will have a great life with your amazing family
I remember your channel in the beginning. We loved the "Dancing Farmer"! My absolute favorite video of yours was the "I can" video. Brought me to tears. ❤
I can’t imagine being without Cog Hill and the Cog Squad in my life. The joy it brings each time seeing all of you and the fur and feathered friends has no measure. You bring such wonderful experiences, love, and lessons to so many. You help so many and contribute to your community ❤ oh the places you will continue to go 🥰 thank YOU for taking us along to watch your dreams come true and along this beautiful journey called life with you. 🥰 y’all be good.
So so glad you started your videos 8 years ago Jason! You and Brooke are a part of my day , a lot of times I will rewatch a video when you don’t have a new one. I thank God for y’all. ❤
Thank you all for allowing us to know all of the critters and human types. You have no idea the times y'all have rescued me from having a really bad day Thank you so much You guys are so well loved.❤
Jason, if you will get the boys scent glands "burned" like you do when they are babies, you will not have that stink when they are in "rut". The will still be able to mate, they just don't stink and also still draw the females.
Yes, since those beans are on metal trellises which should be run through fire as well, it sure does make sense to burn them on their fencing tellises. The less you move that bug and egg invested vegetation and firmscapes (infrastructure and ornaments which can be moved) the less chance something falls or brushes off to begin in a new area.
Happy Anniversary Jason! Thank you for sharing your lives and adventures! You’re one of my top fav YT channels because 1. All the birds hooked me as I’m a huge bird fan. 2 Both of your kindness and love and conversations with the animals are so special
Happy Anniversary.🎉 I love and admire you Jason for pursuing your dream and working past your vulnerability. I cannot imagine life without my Cog Hill Farm fix. 🥰 I look forward to each an every video from you and Brooke. Yay for getting the stinky boys moved and for getting the scratcher disassembled. That is very kind of Chestnut Hill for giving you a helping hand. I sent my thank you to them as well. Holly is so precious and loyal. And I know beautiful Mildred and Handsome Moody could never be mad at you. They both see how hard you all work to give them the best in life. As to Peachy . . . like my grandma used to say “what she don’t know won’t hurt her”. Blessings. 🙏🏽💓☺️
Thank you Chestnut Hill for helping Jason fix the scratching post! Glad you were able to reach out to Chestnut Hill for help. Love to see Holly riding with you Jason. She sure is a big help with you and has good advice for you. Take care my friends🤗🤗💞💞💙💙
I'm sure M&M will appreciate it and maybe even welcome the few days wait for their scratching post as the rain will clean out the buck smell from it and they won't have to smell like a ferret when they scratch against it
After doing my morning devotionals, y’all are the next Brightness in my day. Thx so much for making these videos. Prayers for all 3 of you. Loving the love you give to your animals God bless.
Jason, you and Brooke work so well together. You are the perfect couple and always keep such a positive attitude. Thanks for always making my day a little brighter.
Jason and Brooke that was a good move on Moe and Joe.. Happy Anniversary on your 8 yrs of starting U-Tube for Coghill Farm. It's definitely our privilege of getting to see all the happenings at Coghill Farm.❤😊 which brought on Brooke's channel of cooking, freeze drying ,tractoring and milking, feeding the animals.😊❤ Love your channels!
A big THANK YOU to Chestnut Hills for your kindness to all our friends, the Smith family. We love them so much and so appreciate you for loving them as well. Stinky hard work gettin’ done. Have a great week. We would take your rain any time! No rain in Calif. since early June, 2 months and steady 100 degree temps for that long. Finally in the 80’s for a week or so is such a relief! God bless you all.
Just experienced the Point Fire last Friday. Had to evacuate around 4 pm but was back in my house by 8 pm. The fire came within 30 yards of homes in my subdivision. Because of all the fire retardant dumped on the fire, the neighborhood is coated in pink fire retardant. I am getting my house and solar panels pressure washed today for $550.00!
@@waynekaminski5438 So glad your house didn't burn! $550.00 is doable rather than rebuild. We live where Borate Bombers are stationed and high fire danger here. Glad your world wasn't rocked worse.
We Love you all.... am so happy I found you 6 yrs ago---- you all have made my family happy and got us through some hard times. We are the blessed ones ! Thank you--- love to all of you and the animals.....

Glad you started the channel! Sounds like Moe and Joe need an ample application of Old Spice!!! That’s some serious dedication to help the cattle with their itchies!
Your first video that I saw was when you let the chickens, ducks, etc. out, knelt down and they stampeded around and over you. I loved it and haven't missed a video since. Thank you.
Happy anniversary! You and Brookes videos are great. Your videos have improved over time. I enjoy them so much. The relationship you have with your animals is so natural. They love you as you and Brooke loves them.
Always great to see you all at Cog Hill. 😊❤ I'm glad the goat move went well. Watching your rain storm made mean almost drool. We are in such a severe draught here in Spokane WA . 🔥☀️Send us some rain please. Seriously please pray we get rain soon.
A farm isn't always love and cuddles! You all work so hard! I never was around a goat in rut; so I'm getting (a NON-smelly) lesson with Mo and Jo. We love the Smiths and their babies! And a Huge THANK YOU to Nick for offering help!
