Yeah I'm not sure if sso has adjusted the spawn rate, but last night I was able to find maybe one or two, but today I haven't found a single one. And I'm not sure if there is something wrong with my game or it's the frequency of the spawns. (Usually everything spawns well spread, this includes leaves and fireflies but not runes for some reason)
Same, I only found one today! Sso changed the difficulty of evreything in hollow woods and also upped the amount of light you have to pay at the mother stone. Its so frustrating, they have to ruin evreything!
Yeah they glitched it when they "fixed" the prices on the motherstone, it is a bug and they are working on fixing it, but hard to say how long the wait on a fix will be.

@@galacticstar1335 I have heard half and half. Some people say they can find them pretty well others are having trouble, I myself am lucky to find 5-8 a day some days they seem to not work at all.

I have had this same problem! I left the hollow woods to go to my home stable for a second then ran back into the woods and could find them. I have no idea what sso did when they changed the prices but the for sure changed the spawns, either by mistake or not.
@@maykabloom The prices I get but the rune carving spawn change is not fair, maybe they were adjusting the spawn and removed them completely 🤔 either way sso needs to get their butts in gear and fix them.
In July 2024, it seems this mechanic is still bugged. Followed your while tutorial and didn't encounter one. [EDIT:] I restarted the game and found one!
sso said that they accidentally made the spawn rate really low, making it REALLY hard to find them. they said they would fix it, though, im thinking after the winter update goes away.
i followed this entire video and i only found 2 - i think sso changed the amount you could find liek other people have been saying, which really sucks for players like me who haven’t completed all the levels yet, it doesn’t seem fair
The spawn rate seems to be back to normal (yesterday I couldn't find a single rune, and today I ran into every single one). But maybe it's just luck...
i went to find these with my own brain it took me hour could not find even one then i watched this video and took me another hour to look all the locations and a bit other locations near where would be these and i still could not find any of them. i'm crying why can't they be located more often cause everything like wisps,leaf piles and every other things in this valedale thingy are located more often ;-;

I am not sure what level from memory it was around 17 but they were focusing on main quest stuff before going to it. They are still finding theirs pretty regularly.
Make sure they ate unlocked on your stone, if they are and you can't find them then assumed it is still bugged due to SSO changing the spawn rate and wait for them to fix it.
Before the price change update about every few minutes when I went into a new area I found some, but now, not as frequently unless I leave the woods and come back.

the low spawn frequency rate still seems to be an issue april 2024. i've only seen one carving stone for the entirety of march

@huntermoonhearth I think they realised that it's too easy lmao. Price went from 1000 to 3200 at 6lvl.

I just followed you with every step, and other than the two I found before hand (which was RARE for me!) I only found two more.
It says i unlocked up to level 4 but i never found a single one idk how they even work yet ive unlocked all of them

Yes due to fridays update it is now broken on the amount we can find. I am hoping for a fix come Monday cause this is ridiculous.

I found my first one while watching this after struggling for a while! It was at X: 281, Y:193, and you didn't include it. Hope this helps!

Make sure they ate unlocked on your stone, if they are and you can't find them then assumed it is still bugged due to SSO changing the spawn rate and wait for them to fix it.

Before the price change update about every few minutes when I went into a new area I found some, but now, not as frequently unless I leave the woods and come back.
All of those locations and only one spawned for me. Even with a higher frequency unlocked. 🤣
