Simply removing the mesh element would leave a step between the throttle body and intake manifold chamber. This would disturb (slow) the air flow offsetting any gain to be had by removing the restrictive mesh element. Our Intake Manifold Upgrade Kit is machined to exactly match the diameter of the throttle body providing smooth, undisturbed airflow into the intake manifold for improved performance.
I have the 2014 GTX LTD IS. What would the best upgrades to increase speed be for my ski in particular. I was also wondering about the Exghaust. Do you make a Through hull exghaust for my ski? If so what are the pros and cons of having a through hull exghuast.
+Charles Lauria We do make the Rear Exhaust Kit for your model. (part# RS15100-2) This will give your GTX a really nice sound and look with the outlet at the rear of the hull. Removing the sound baffles help increase acceleration. How much gain depends upon the rest of the performance upgrades you have installed. We offer many options for performance upgrades to your craft. Check out our site: www.rivaracing.com. Or call one of our technical representatives 954-247-0705 tech_support@rivaracing.com
The two air tubes are located in the front area of the hull. This is why our RIVA Spark Cold Air Intake is designed to pull air from that area. Please check the link in the description to get more info from the product page. Thanks
I really want to HEAR this, does anyone have the audio of this? also when you say HULL VENT, do you mean, the hull vent that might house a storage box ? on mine I have storage in the front, would I have to remove that? thanks
Sorry, but we don't have any audio of what it sounds like. Hull Vents refers to the stock air intake system as provided by Sea-Doo. There are two just under the upper body panels and ducting that runs down into the hull. The Power Filter inlet is just above the stock ducting so fresh, cooler air can be taken in to the Power Filter Kit.
it makes it sound amazing too
Why is therena filter needed? Wouldn't that slow down air speed?
Does is sound the same with the cold air intake?
I love it so much
