Laura Wheeler/Needlecraft was a quilt pattern designer in the 1930s. Makes sense that the company would also market garment sewing patterns. It's always fun when sewing worlds collide! 🙂
I like buying FF patterns just for the peace of mind that they will be complete, but it can be painful opening them up! Neatly folded is a nice compromise.
What do you know, a week or so ago I clipped an ad for Anne Adams 4798 from my local newspaper on newspapers [dot] com. It was advertised on August 12, 1956. So neat to see it here!
It would be a really fun adventure (and video) if you took those printed & unprinted pattern pieces and tried to work out what you were making as you went!

Used but neatly folded just feels emotionally better than factory folded. It did it’s job, and someone cared for it, rather than being passed over.
Totally agree, I've bought vintage patterns that the previous owner had clearly used and cut to her size (mine too!!) And it feels so special

I love this woman's style! So many of these patterns were just so cute, I completely understand why she took such good care of them!
Wait, I'll get a cup of tea and we'll have a wonderful look through your vintage patterns.
i love the frog fabric used as backdrop
Peel off face mask and watching Angela go through patterns! What a lovely Sunday night. ❤️
This was really fun! I love vintage patterns, it was great to see what you got - vicarious package opening pleasure! 📦
I love seeing all these vintage patterns. They make me think of my grandmother, oddly enough.
Love a pattern haul. I've never seen some of these before.

Beautiful! (I think it’s Laura not Sandra Wheeler?)
I have to get myself something with scallops one day soon!
I figured that out when it came time to listing them, lol! My brain does not compute cursive half the time.
Seeing your video is a day brightener! Thanks. How are Posey and Mini?
Oh heyyyy I have one of those mail order patterns! But I still learned something because the brand name doesn't appear anywhere on it.
