Yes this is connected to the battery. There is a fuse inline before the battery connection and it is turned on and off with the app!

@@ken8516 This can be connected wherever you choose! You just need 12v feed.
The direct battery attachment is intended to maintain the function ability with the key off and locked. For example at a car show.
Attaching to a key on power source with the fuse box is absolutely doable, but was not something that we did or can offer advice on.

Can you put a fuse so when the lights turn on it turns on with it and when they off it turns off with them ?

You can theoretically use whatever power source that you see fit. These only need 12v power when you intend to use them! Key on or Key off!

These can be turned off within the application!
