On the cover, he still looks freaky but has a more approachable charm to him. Hell, he could show up in a Toby Fox game and no-one would bat an eye. (mainly since most people don't know that Trivia Monster is even a thing) But in this game... *CHRISTY.* When he's THIS pissed off, he's worthy of the horror hall of fame. JJ was a bit of a twatbasket, but one can only imagine what horrors he faced at the hands of the titular Trivia Monster.
Indeed it is, didn't know the answer so I just went for the first song to come into mind. Also threw in a reference to black metal band Immortal for a laugh.
It is a pity the tune that plays between 0:50 and 1:40 seems not to play properly on sidplay2. I guess it is because the tune is partly random generated and probably sidplay does not support this. I hope someone more knowledgeable than me can explain this.
This was totally unknown game to me and I was looking forward to see the monster and ending as the idea sounded awesome for a Paul Norman game. Well... After amazing Forbidden Forest games ending in this one was somewhat lame. No blood, no gore and no bodies. The monster itself was pretty creepy looking lmao. It probably would had been a small trauma to see this one too as kid. Paul Norman was a genius in creating creepy 8-bit pixels and sounds anyway. :)
Jesus Christ, that thing is straight out of the NES Godzilla creepypasta.

That fucking monster pop-up and scream would probably traumatize me as a child
my dad would always put my name in, then have the monster come get me, lol. freaked me out when I was little.
holy fucking shit what kind of dad did you have
Was this to not make you wander around the house during midnight, and force you to sleep? Fucking heavy, man.
I'm 29 and this is still fucking terrifying. I found Mortal Kombat scary when I was young, I can't even fathom what this would be like.
That song that starts at 0:50 is actually pretty good for the era, wouldn't mind some sort of modern remix of that.
this game creeped me out when i was little! especially the music and the beating on the door.
Seriously, that song at the end is a bop.
jesus fuck that is terrifying

I loved this game when I was a kid!

Not so scary! You screw up enough you get visited by Michael Jackson as a 4 legged moster dancing to Thriller lol
You know your stuff, huh?
Abject Suffering
That’s how I discovered this game lol
Was that an AxCx reference I saw? p.s., the monster coming out is NIGHTMARE FUEL.
10:56 - 11:12 sounds like a mad death grips sample
what the actual shit
oh hell yeah! I forgot all about this one lol
great answers, btw 🤣
