Great content i bought Havells 11 fin wave 2900 w with PTC on in black and gold looks a bit more nicer than white. Just a personal choice as i feel gold and black looks more dapper than gold and white. My purchase Price was INR 9810 from Amazon on Oct 29 I purchased after squeezing out 10% credit card discount. Before card discount was for INR 10900.

yes it does get hot not very safe around kids below 3 years other than that its fine
I bought a used PARAS oil heater for 4000 which has been working fine for 2 years.

Just recently I bought Havels 13 wave fins 2900W. Switching it on for whole night doesn't make much difference. Is it supposed to be very hot for the fins to touch? I pointed the infrared thermometer and it reads around 110° F. Is that normal or its defective?

Hi! I have purchased 13fin havells ofr recently. It is able to increase the room temperature by an overall 3 degress only, for example after nearly 45mins of use it is able bring 24 to 27 degress at max settings. Is that all the ofr can do? Or can it do any better?

@@vasudharakshit in my experience, Oil heaters take too long to heat up the room and don’t do a good job spreading the heating. They take too much space as well. I returne my 11 fin Usha OFR in 2020.

I have a Usha 9 fin without PTC fan. Do you think PTC fan plays an important role in heating up the room. I do not find my OFR effective enough.
it does heat up but the biggest advantage of oil heater is it doesnt create any dryness.
@@Shubhin yeah.. ofr are better than other heaters. But here question was about having a PTC fan or not in ofr. I found without PTC fan ofr is half useful.

Hi, seems you've been using the oil room heater since a long time. I'm new to this. After I brought the radiator home, I see 2 cracks developed in new radiator fins on the periphery. Is it normal? (the heater is not leaking)

Hi Shubhin, can you please suggest, kenstar 13 fins heater are equivalent to havells or inferior in heating? I am getting sine wave 13 fins for 8500 while havells one is of 10500 and that too staright fins one.

Use Wipro smart plug for controlling timer and you can use it with Alexa and Google also in my home I am using Wipro smart plug everywhere it even shows power consumption

bhai havells ka ptc fan auto off nahi hota kya low high jitna v thermostat ko karo fan off nahi hota uske liye fan ka off switch he dabama padta hai. thermostat se oil toh hota hai bas ptc fan kabhi off nahi hoti

I just bought a Havells 13 Wave fin OFR and after running for 1-2 hour the power plug got heated up and switch went bad. Do you advice an MCB connection for this but then it will get fixed like an AC in one room. We may need it in other room or living area. What is ur opinion on this

9 fin uses less electricity than 11 fin.
If one is running heater at full 2900 watts (max settings), one must have proper electric wiring along with main meter load.

check out any local electronics shop they will repair or else you can contact customer service of the company from which you bought them.

i will make another video on power consumption as many people are asking but on low comsuption it would be 6-7 kw if it runs for 10 hours.
Black and decker is also good if you are tight on budget i have given some cheaper models in description you can buy from that also becasue i dont this these oil heaters stop working they are very simple to make and super long life.
But I asked for power consumption at 1st point at lowest level in 13 fins use.?
1500 wats when you turn on and around 800 watts per hour consumption per hour if you run it for long time

Assuming you live in India only you can go with brands like Mitsubishi Heavy industries if your area is big and open or O General and daikin these are best brands out there making quality products
