@@patrickmullins7981yes he scored goals for around 2/3s of season then tailed off towards the end and continued into this season. Don't forget, he misses a shed load of chances too, largely because he never crossed or played the ball into anyone central last season. If he left, we wouldn't miss him. Garnarcho plays better there too. It's best for him and United that he goes this summer. The dislike towards him is only going to grow and he doesn't deserve that, but that said he can't deal with playing for a club of Uniteds size either where scrutiny is on another level to other clubs
Rashford is holding this club at ransom. He slows every potential transition to a stand still and for some reason has Bruno always looking to get him the ball even if there are two other open players. He cannot be at this club another season after the pathetic effort level this season. He is now a liability on the pitch and in the dressing room sulking the second things don’t go his way.
Could not agree more rashford holds our offense back so much and absolutely kills our movement and momentum every single time. He doesn’t have the football iq to play against a low block since the day he got into the first team.

I'm glad that Reinaldo saw what I saw, that United's quality was fairly consist through normal time, what changed was Coventry switching to their normal formation.

He is taking out 2 teenagers (who have played too many, many minutes considering their age) and replacing them with 2 international players, Antony and Eriksen, who are both good at holding possesion. AND against a Championship team where we are 3-0 up with 25 minutes to go. This is on the players 100%

When was the last time you honestly expected rashford to perform well? The guy takes FULL SEASONS off and gets away with it. What more does he need to do to be dropped and sold? Jose was 100% correct. The vast majority of our players need to go for multiple reasons.
We have players who simply aren’t doing the minimum workrate to compete with lower table teams and they need to go. The obvious ones guilty of this to the highest degree are rashford and sancho, luckily sancho is on loan but will be very hard to sell and will bring a bunch of problems with him if he comes back.
We have players who can’t do all of the minimum things they need to be able to do for the positions they play in. The perfect example of this is wanbissaka. As a right or left back in the modern game where your team plays with a sweeper keeper you need to be able to defend and pass/dribble to play out from the back with the high line and turn defense to offense and avoid their pressing. You also need to be able to cross the ball and support your winger. How well has he done that this season especially when you compare him to Dalot who may be our most consistent player this season.
The final reason players could need to leave united is mentallity/football iq. I put these together because they both are under the mental side of the game. A good example of a player who should go because of lack of football iq would be mctominay. He does great arriving late into the oppositions box but doesn’t see the final pass to rack up assists. He doesn’t see the danger defensively when teams break on us and mark their players who attack the box late just like he does which is ironic. Also him being so far forward and staying forward is the huge part of why we get broke on in the first place the midfield is wide open when he plays for us.

It’s not like Ten Hag can come out and say who listens to instructions and who doesn’t if he ever wants to work again. These players have been through too many managers
I think theres a string of managers who've been hung out to dry by the dressing room. We were 3 nil up, the game plan worked. Right. 20 mins ledt at Wembley, its about mental strength and giving 110%. The lads were jogging about, they should have been BURSTING LUNGS to squeeze the life out of any coventry attack. Nothing like that it was lazy. What can ETH do about that that doesnt involve him getting a kit on himself? We need to let the players ON THE PITCH understand that no one is above the chop and that weak, lazy mentality is unacceptable. I'd rather come 9th with a bunch of guys busting a gut for the badge week in and out than 5th with a bunch of underachieving washouts

Aaron Wan-Bissaka seems like the most honest, quiet, and calm individual in football. He never gets angry at refs decisions or at least his face never changes 😅
Rashford's attitude was way better when he was younger and not a "star" yet. He used to sprint after the ball once he loses it in a dribble, but now he just sulks. Really bringing the mood down
Don't think coverntry showed it has to be a coaching issue, because the players make poor decisions and I've said it before are running on empty. They have no legs at all this season.

That game was terrible, we have so much work to be done with the squad and possibly the manager. I’m of mixed thoughts as to ETH, but feel it may be wiser to give him his last season and look to replacing him then. We can’t just keep doing the every 2 years get rid of the manager.

On Rashy, he joined the first-team in 2015, he’s on for a testimonial next year. But you’re right with he just has spells of form, never consistent.
No he was not. He said "a couple of players" and he literally means 2, Shaw and Martial. The only other players that played under him are Lindelof (he bought him), Dalot (he bought him), McTominay (he always praised him and gave him his debut), Rashford (I think he is the player with the most apps for Mourinho at United).
He was not backed properly but in his first season where he needed to do rebuild he went and bought Pogba for 105m pounds. In 2016 with that money you could get 2 very good midfielders. He bought Mkhitaryan and then went swapped him for Sanchez (LW) where he had Martial and Rashford in that position and in that season they both were playing good. Instead of developing those 2 he went and brought a player that wanted to come only for the money. Instead of looking only what other could have done he also needs to see what he could have done better

Lingard, Lukaku, Pogba, Shaw, Martial, Rashford, Greenwood, Ronaldo and Sancho. This has been going on for years. Fergie would have called them "Big time Charlies" and got rid. The standards, mentality and culture at Utd has been allowed to rot by the Glazers for 19 years. We're now seeing chickens coming home to roost. Ten Hag hasn't even been there two seasons and people expect him to be able to wave a magic wand and hey presto we're the dominant force in English football again. He's an elite coach and a decent bloke, not a miracle worker. No club has a divine right to be winning. No club is entitled to win just because they have the biggest financial turnover or because they were winning everything 10 years ago. INEOS need to get the club's house in order, and take the financial hit involved in getting rid of players that should have gone already. It beggars belief that we'd let the players scapegoat yet another world class manager. So depressing.

Sorry but we can't be criticising Arsenal for being happy with what they've achieved (or not) in the Champions League when we couldn't even get out of the group stages, we finished bottom and only won one game, finishing with only 4 points. They've achieved much more than us in the Champions League this season, fact. They finished top in the group stages and only dropped 4 points. You only play who you've been placed against. They lost against a Premier league title rival in the FA Cup, we scraped past Coventry a Championship team (no disrespect to Coventry they did an excellent job to get back into the game in the last 20 minutes to almost knock us out). There are Championship wingers who are better performers, more consistent and definitely more involved in games esp defensively than Rashford is. When the channel did the keep and sell last week, I was surprised that all of them decided to keep him and just 1 game later, their minds have changed. He's been like this for most of the last 4 years. That's not good enough for the money in his past two contracts.

You guys need to rewatch the game or something. Garnacho was pressing too narrow so Antony in with some new instructions to stay wider makes sense. stop the Coventry keeper to play out to the fullback. The team conceded 3 goals but still wasn't that poor. Especially in extra time we created loads of chances. The goals for Coventry were extremely lucky. If anything they came because players stopped playing the way they can. They have a weak mentality and crumble.
Rashford has all the talent and ability to play at the top level. His problem is drive work rate and attitude in my opinion. If he had Bruno’s desire to win I think he’d be more successful

The issue with Rashford is if he’s your first or second best player then you’ve got problems if you want to be consistently challenging. If he’s fifth or sixth then it’s a completely different story.

I watched the Sunderland Til I Die doc on Netflix as it looked interesting and their story is sad. They went down to league one after being relegated from premiership in 2017, just couldn’t catch themselves and league one is a hard to get promoted they were there for four or five seasons if my memory serves me correctly. I don’t think we’ll ever be in that position but something’s gotta give as we’re bad!
