I freaking love social media and I know exactly what you mean about giving the client a facelift with their account almost in the same way we would give our hair clients one as well with an amazing color or cut.

Starting from Scratch. Started late in 2020, I have one client. I only work around 7 hours per week for them and I have zero degrees, just a bit of know how online. Absolutely looking for help, more clients, work. Whatever I can get.
I’d love to secure my first 3-5 clients so I can focus on growth knowing more and expanding- although I’m very open to taking on more.
We’re heading to the end of 2020 and I want to close at least 3 clients by the end of the year. I have just recently began my journey and want to make a living out of it. Your honesty spoke to me, I would love a deeper dive into how to become successful in this space.

I am a social media manager and I have a marketing and communications degree. People think that just anyone can do a social media manager job because they use social media and may know some tips and tricks that others don’t. At the end of the day, these degrees teach you principals that you won’t learn by just jumping into it without a degree. I am a trained marketing professional and without these background I wouldn’t be where I am. People without a degree may be able to get by doing this job, but those with the formal training and degree will understand the deeper meaning behind metrics and social media management along with the marketing and communications ethics and practices.

At first I thought 1-3 clients would be nice, but I’m flexible and would not mind more. I do not have any, I see your videos on TikTok and IG. We had a rough two years financially. We were bombarded by unexpected bills since my son was born. We are pretty much out of the woods now but I do not want to go back to worrying about our savings. I’m a sahm and we do not want me to get a job that I don’t like. I worked at a brokerage and helped the realtors with their social media as a receptionist.
