"If do right, no can defend"*
*Except Steinerline
thats cold, lol
I've watched this a thousand times lol. Rick kills him and then looks at Sullivan like "Hey he's out, obviously"
Watch the clip of Steiner leveling Champion with that clothesline at .25 speed, and you'll get a good view of how vicious it was.
Flawless Victory.
Fatality.
I mean, it could've been worse. Imagine if it was Scott instead of Rick.
That clothesline was brutal
thanks for telling me about this had to see it what a phenomenally deserved receipt Christian got there. Also afterwards forgot how great the NWA theme was when going to commercial I would take that almost over 5/6's of everything Jim Johnson ever composed.
I loved the New Breed. Way ahead of their time.
Back then, Rick Steiner's Steiner line was a thing of beauty
I've never seen the ropes throw someone away so much, he was getting clotheslined no matter what, Rick wasn't having that shit lol
Chris Champion got off pretty easy, just eats a rough clothesline and gets put away, this could have been much worse. Like the time the acolytes beat up public enemy or perry saturn beat up that one dude.
Yea I thought the kick looked just as bad
Which dude? Perry Saturn beat up a couple dudes in the ring
@@natemorrill8286 Who was the 2nd one? I know about the incident with the jobber who dumped Perry on his head with a hip toss which resulted in Perry getting Moppy as a manager.
A receipt for a potato. Isn't that exactly what he should have gotten?
@@tempestfennac9687 Brian gamble
Just watched it for the first time ever and by God that was brutal
I saw the Clip that steinerline looked devastating.
Rick's Steiner knocked the soul out of Chris Champion. Don't let them under sell it
Just saw the clip
Dude got a front row seat to the pearly gates
He just got sent to the shadow Realm
That’s what he gets for that stupid crane kick
Chris Champion showed Rick Steiner NO MERCY.
Chris knew he couldn't "sweep the leg".
@@snarkyguy2657 it's time to put him in a body bag.
A Chris Champion knew when he kicked Steiner. He tought he could get away with this like he did with Jobbers. But Rick is no Jobber. So when Steiner just shruged it off, then cleaned his clock made Chris looked like a fool.
When Jim says Champion was using the karate kid special on a couple of job guys... Chris Champion vs Don Valentine is a match you should look up 😆 🥔
Do you've a link??
I think links will get blocked by UA-cam but if you type in the names you can find Bryan Alvarez from wrestling observer rant about it. Someone has done a video here on UA-cam the channel EnemyViolent
Merry Christmas 🎄🎀🎄
Rick was not the man to upset.
I always liked Chris Champion. He had charisma. I kind of find Max Caster from The Acclaimed reminds me of Champion, actually. I might have even been one of the few that was into the Yoshi Kwan gimmick. lol
what do you think would have happened if he had done that to scott steiner in the middle of his roid rage? whens the funeral?
Where's the body
@@herecomesdatrain the body was last seen in Impact...
@@justme4998 Chris champion?
@@herecomesdatrain no...i dont even know who he is...i have no idea where they buried him...but i know who the steiner brothers are...work stiff on them at your own risk
The body would be bagged and incinerated while scotty has a session with his freaks by the bonfire
I just watched the whole match on UA-cam, champion knew he fucked up when he kicked Steiner
I loved Chris champion. He was ahead of his time
I see what you did there . . .
@@dustinclarke7351 hahaha
Only way to work that crane kick would be to try to land on the shoulder or chest but Champion never thought of that.
Tell that to Lyoto Machida when he Kod Randy Couture. Thank god he had Sensei Steven Seagul to teach him instead of you, else we would have lost one the best ever MMA kos.
@@jessepaiz6356 are you mentally ill? Or did you never learn about the biggest difference between wrestling and MMA
rick took him straight out of his boots after that.
Im dying to know what the vibe was like afterwards in the back 😂😂😂
If you watch the way both Garvin and Kevin Sullivan react, you can kinda tell they're wondering if some further shit might go down. I think Sullivan splits quickly to kind of signal to Steiner: "Let's get back to the dressing room".....he doesn't even go into the ring to celebrate the win with Steiner. Lol.
Here's the kick ua-cam.com/video/Ddve56Sukv4/v-deo.html
You are a true hero, friend. Thank you!
I wish Rick Steiner hit Chris Champion with his right arm when he did the Steinerline. He let him off easy.
JEEZUS! Champion got knocked back to 2002!
Maybe you should perfect your finishing move before you pull it on people 🤔
That’s the problem with a kick like that. You can’t really perfect it unless you have inhuman level physics control to land the tip of your boot micrometers from the other guy’s jaw and still make it look good.
goozle pipe :D I'm dead.
I have seen Chris Champion crane kick the living shit outta Don Valentine ....but in Champions defense, Valentine deserved it....Valentine completely screwed up the match a couple of times before Champion got frustrated with Dons incompetence, and punted the shit outta his face.
Chris deserved it just for that hair cut.
Oh my god!!!
I always get a kick out of the Teddy Long reference. Growing up in the early 2000s, Teddy was always one of my favorite personalities and he wasn’t even a wrestler. Just a likeable dude
One thing that gets missed on this is if you watch the full clip, a fan after the match starts screaming the N word at Teddy Long. That poor guy put up with a lot of unnecessary shit.
The Steiners picked on the midgets. Yeah, they were real bad asses......
Steiner hit him like a Mack truck
Mr cornette
LMFAO That Marina Shafir Kicked Looked awful she needs to go away because she's not that good of a Wrestler her matches are so boring and I had no idea of Rick steiner getting Kicked in the face by Chris Champion that's very interesting and LMFAO Brian's laughter is Absolutely Hilarious 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Dr death again😂😂, Jim for ffs, the guy was a fake tough guy, tough enough found him out
he was a 4 time All American NCAA wrestler for Christ's sake, very few people on earth can claim the level of toughness of Dr Death, if you took him just after college and put him in a top MMA gym today he'd probably be heavyweight champion of the world or damn close and if he crawled out of his grave as a revenant he'd have more than enough left in him to have you eating your Christmas Dinner through a straw
@@kanegibson5479 calm down.
Being an all American wrestler is nothing special in mma terms.
I've seen guys with less than a years training absolutely schooling all American level wrestlers in fight gyms.
Dr Death definitely wasn't no fake tough guy but to put him into a real shootfighting scenario against proper fighters and he would have been torn apart.
All Brawl For All (not sure what you're talking about with Tough Enough, it being a made for tv try out show) proved is Bart Gunn wasn't a complete chump, and that there was a reason real shoot fighters figured out how to do this in the 19th Century and deviating from the very basis of the entire business doesn't make anybody a star or anybody any money.
Dr. Death beat Dan Severn, Lou Banach and Jeff Blatnick in the NCAA's, two of them went onto be Olympic Gold Medalists and the other UFC World Heavyweight Champion. Williams in the 80's was one of the baddest pro wrestlers out there whether you like it or not. Black Bart has spoken about seeing Williams stretch Rick Steiner on several occasions as Rick always challenged him but could never beat him.
Dan Severn, Rick Steiner, Tracy Smothers, John Nord, The Barbarian, Animal, Bill Watts and Dutch Mantell all said Steve Williams was legit tough.
