If we're going to take on a bloated salary I'd rather go for Lavine, at least you'd only have to match salary and you'd get draft capital to take his contract. The Jerami Grant or Cam Johnson trade can happen later in the season. I think the Lakers can survive the 1st half of the season before making another move.
