Preach I need your help. I've been deeply in love with World of Warcraft since I was a child. I've grown so much better listening to you and watching your videos. I do not have a lot of time to invest due to work and life so I will never be cutting edge, but I love my guild and I love this game, and I spend all the time I can because I love every minute of it. My problem is, I am someone who has now leveled every character to 110. I have learned the ins and outs, rotation, priority, legendaries, talents, aoe vs. single vs. cleave, of every spec in the game. Every time I try to main a character, which is what I want, I become unhappy with that character in under a few weeks. Due to how my job is I can spend hours of time every day while at work researching classes and specs, rotations, and so much more. I know you can't tell me WHO to play, but HOW do I pick? I don't want to alt anymore, I just want one character I log onto forever. I'm so sick of having alts. I want to level literally only one character in 8.0, and I am hoping you can help me get in the right mind set to start maining NOW because it is bothering me so much. I love your videos, and would be extremely appreciative to get a reply from you, or from anyone else reading this!

That was pretty much my story and I'm still not over my alts but I just decided to main the first character and stick to it. Its hard to choose a main based on how much fun I have so I'll just go with numbers.
I played from Vanilla to the beginning of cataclysm, and then quit until like two months ago. and started leveling up my prot paladin i used to main. Then whenever i could play i was gearing up, but never really got a chance to do many dungeons. I can attest that the hardest part about tanking in a modern dungeon is that everyone is moving non stop, and that you don't get to sit down and eat/drink for a sec every now and then to gauge your next move. i got up to about 930 ilvl from the argus tokens and got 2 legendaries from emissary caches. I went into Normal Tomb the other day, and people would get mad when i would die on my very first time on a raid fight because i was learning it, even though we would get it the second time. as if they cleared everything on their literal first attempt. People do take for granted that new people haven't been doing the same dungeons for a year or better and haven't learned the exact best path through every instance yet. Even if you're a returning player, things have changed a lot, and it takes getting used to
Hey preach love your vids :) xx ... i doubt youll read this but.... i like it when you do the escapes from videos i was pissing around in the caverns of time (the tunnel going doing to it) and i noticed if you land on the side with the window an invisable wall blocks you but, you can use dispacer beast to blink threw it, you will still be on the floor but on the other side use flight form (didnt try mount) and you can fly under the floor of tanaris (if you go back into the world threw the floor or mountain you cant get back in and have to repeat the process) i don't know if you have covered this before but if you havent i would like to see what you can find ... if you have the time ofcourse lol. Also this problally isn't the place to post but i thought logically the newest video you made you were more likey to see it :. Thank you for your time i appreciate all the work you do .. Thumbs up

Yeah, i know i just started playing again recently (played vanilla, tbc, wotlk, and only the first month of cata) and my main is a tank because that was always my favorite thing to do. & I can say coming in the middle of an expansion when everyone knows the dungeons by heart, and everyone skips specific mobs in every dungeon, it's pretty stressful. Especially because now days everything moves so fast now, lol and the last time i played you still had to sit and drink and eat pretty regularly, and you had a second to size up your next move. lol
I love Afflic. I have been playing that spec since Vanilla. Never played Demo and never played Destro. I just could never get into them, even they do out-dps affliction from time to time. But I will stay Affliction till wow is no more. The shear though of causing your enemies slow agonizing pain, till their death. Doesn't get any better than that. Slow death is the way to go.
I was laying in bed watching this video with earplugs on when that horrid noise came on at around the 7:30 mark. Caught me off guard at first but i'm glad to see you decided to give us a giggle instead of hard cutting to the next bit. Hahaha

The franchise is dead. It's over. Subscriptions have been dropping fast and hot since Cataclysm, and it's not because the game is "old". It's because the game has lost its MMORPG roots and the current devs vision is utter shit. The lore is laughable and gameplay is stale and boring. They threw everything good in the warcraft franchise in legion (demon hunters, illidan, burning legion, ashbringers etc.) and yet it still was horse shit. WoD was trash, legion is trash, future expansions will be trash. Game is no longer an MMORPG. Legacy servers need to happen for only those golden eras: Vanilla, TBC, WOTLK. Game has been trash ever since and anyone who TRULY played back then knows this.
Rogrash it's taken so long I'd rather they just HD Remake Vanilla WoW if they going to finally do legacy servers. An Unreal Engine 4 Vanilla WoW would draw 15mil subs. That or WoW2 or some new MMO. Sadly. Even at 2-3 million subs they still would be making good money and largest sub base. I don't see legacy happening until WoW content is done and there will be at least a few more expansions. Utter bullshit. Although maybe they unpinned the legacy thread on the forums because a new announcement is coming.

They think it's nostalgia, it's cute. WCIII, Vanilla and TBC are fucking titans in gaming history. Had WoW stuck to its MMORPG roots, there would be no demand for legacy servers. But it didn't. People have given up on any future expansion because the damage done is vastly beyond repairing. The playerbase today doesn't have a single clue. Just like the game has been overhauled, its playerbase has been too. I love it when they pretend they played vanilla/TBC and trash talk those eras lmfao. Petty af. As for the de-sticky, we will get our "update" either at gamescom or blizzcon. We'll see about that though.
I don't know if I trust modern Blizzard to make WoW2. WoW2 would be a well-polished, technically proficient, and critically praised game with no soul. That's what Blizzard makes these days: soulless games that tick all the superficial boxes of "what makes a game good". They're games with broad appeal, just challenging enough to make people feel like they're accomplishing something but not so hard that it turns the mass market away. Games that ooze false, forced personality--just quirky enough, but not too odd or striking--or lean heavily on characters and settings established back when they had true passion. Games that mine your nostalgia for the good old days without having the guts to replicate the conditions that actually made those games memorable. Modern Blizzard is driven by exactly one thing: making a whole metric fuckload of cash, and until they finally wring every last penny out of their remaining passionate talent, good will, and memorable IP they will continue to feed on people like you and I that remember whose face it is this impostor wears.
MasterInsan0 yeah but something needs to happen. Wow and these crappy expansions are keeping us from Warcraft 4, Legacy Servers and a new current gen MMO. It sucks it's not worth the one expansion every few years in exchange for holding up those 3 projects. Then again you may be right and they know they got nothing left so will just bleed out WoW to the bitter end. It sucks that people are so invested in their characters because that is the only thing keeping sub numbers high. How do you say goodbye to something willingly that you have invested 13 years into? If for some reason currently characters were locked out and people had to start new ones, sub numbers would be a million max if even because it's just not that great of a game anymore. My hopes are on Pantheon, that's probably my last crack at MMOs.
