ahhh, Mitch ive been dieing to see this truck in ages. Ive seen this truck three times when i was up there but to late for footage. Yeh these trucks are bloody huge. I cant wait to go back, your making me miss it up there already
this truck has since been replaced by a bucher euro 6 acco. and due to the growth of the council along with an existing DAF for commercial recycling. a merc econic also takes care of a commerical run, what stream it does im not sure. along with that a dennis elite 6 rear loader also does commerical garbage run. i suspect the dennis and merc were brought on due to the massive growth of port macqaurie and its surrounds, and also brought somewhere between 2019 and 2022.
@r6man2 Cheers mate, I don't catch two trucks together like that very often. Also those plastic dumpsters are hell rare in Australia with what I've seen; very few exist. Thanks!

This video was made last year?That is a weird screaming sound that truck makes but I noticed it sounds more weird when its inside those big buildings.very nice video.I guess your very busy working everyday now?
@trashy0240 Yeh that's when it sounded best in my opinion... the high-pitched scream of these Scanias seems sort of unusual for a truck, but the power's still there! Yep I guess it was a 2006 - you can tell by the truck number eh? :D
@Trashman242 After watching the video again, the engine really does sound bloody awesome... has a combination of grunt, roar and scream. There are a few other front loaders on the way which sound pretty mean; guess they all do in a sense, because they are FLs after all :D That tanker in the last clip would've been the grease trap truck, coincidently they were there at the same time. Thanks for labelling this as a masterpiece, a very strong word haha
@Trashman242 Yeh if I understand it correctly, the grease is drained to some reservoir which is where the hose is directly connected to... don't think there would be a more efficient system?
@arkansastrash320 I threw it together early this year - did it say somewhere it was made this year?! There is a bit of a different sound to this Scania compared to others and your typical roaring truck. Yep mate very busy these days, always long days at the moment.

@Danny19921125 Sometimes I chase them by running, sometimes I keep up by bike and other times I cruise around in the cab... a bit of everything.
I'm "drip feeding" them to UA-cam, don't want to put everything up straight away. You'll have to wait longer... sorry :P
