Quality upload! Loved the clean operating and the truck as well. The years are going by quickly now and the Acco is now becoming a thing of the past. It's awesome to see one of the last ones are in good hands and will be looked after right till the end. I enjoy driving these last Accos that came out of Iveco, they're something special and makes you appreciate it more knowing its one of the last ones.
Awesome video I love the sound of this truck. And I do agree with what you have said about filming with a phone it is a great option! And it depends on the editing software, the one I use is iMovie (if you are using an apple phone) and it has the translation effect you used to use I am pretty sure.
Awesome video Mitch! I noticed the new phone camera filming, gotta say it looks really neat! It perfectly captures the truck and brings out all the colours really nicely. While there is something cool about the filming on the old camera, giving it an old times feeling, this new phone camera looks really neat! Just wondering, what phone did you use to film this? Again, great video and I can’t wait for your next one :)
Mitch! Top notch video here my mate! What a nice surprise to hear that this was filmed on your phone - definitely the better way to go! Even though the transitions are abrupt, it still works! Here's a suggestion: going forward, if you want a smoother transition, you could keep the camera rolling until the truck is long gone, then get a super long approach in the next clip, and so on. I know that might be tricky since you have to keep up with the trucks, but just an idea for you to think about! This truck sounds real good for being a newer truck, I was pleasantly surprised at how good the audio was on this one! I noticed the audio from your old video camera doesn't bring out the bass that much, especially with a Euro 3/Euro 4 ACCO, so I actually prefer the audio from your phone much better. Would've been awesome if you could've caught all those Euro 3 and 4 ACCO's with your phone - then I'd be able to hear those busy thundering Cummins ISC engines and their bassy sounds! But hey, better late than never, right? Hopefully if you do go hunting for trucks, you can film one of the remaining Euro 4 ACCO's with your phone, if there are any left, that is. Again, top notch work here mate, and looking forward to the next one!
A sign of the times, you know times are changing when Mitch gets out again and captures a new video of a truck on a phone! 😮. Seriously top effort mate for the first time trying something different out, this has come out a real treat, took us all by surprise for sure haha but equally as great in a totally different way for all that we’ve known since 2008. I’m glad you got back out to Fairfield again, definitely chose the right bloke to get on film for all the right reasons shown throughout. Favourite clip would have to be those units starting at 2:32, just the slick motion of up down, up down all the way along, no excessive reaching out either. Spotted a sulo 2 in the pile at 3:04, stands out alright, cool to see a few Ottos noted also at 8:54 and 10:58. Chose the perfect clip to conclude with as well from 12:07, equally as satisfying in ways as the units, single sulo 2 pickup and round the corner. Just an idea given it seems you can’t use your favourite transition anymore, for phone clips, try pointing it at the ground, then slowly panning up as the truck is rolling in from the distance. Even though it might feel initially strange next time you try it out, when you come to edit and mesh two back to back it should fit in well hopefully and I think you’ll see what I mean, learnt that technique a little while ago as a “natural” way of transitioning as a different option. One other thing as well, and I apologise if you’ve already answered this question publicly to someone somewhere else, but you never got sent any photos of the Fairfield JJ Richards split trucks emptying the split sulo 2’s all that time ago? Always interested to see what they would have looked like. Anyhow great video again, it’s been long enough myself since I wrote a proper decent comment on here instead of helping others out with useful info or replying to nonsense stuff to set the record straight 🙄. Cheers mate 😄😎
Yes, I blew myself away using my phone as much as I may have blown away my viewers! haha Funnily enough I took a sneaky early video of that line-up you mentioned over 10 years ago with a Euro 4 at work, however that clip never made the cut for an upload, but there I was recently doing it again - a lot more old bins in that line back in 2011/12. I understand your suggestion about a natural transition method, but there's no way I can bring myself to deliberately videoing the ground, I'd feel like one of those muppets that runs with the camera and videos the sky, ground and surrounds more than the truck itself hehe To answer your question, never got any photos of the JJR Fairfield recycle trucks, may still source something one day though.
Are yes bucher mj reving! Aussiegarbo I like to ask and know about your opinion of current bucher mj hoppers! Personally i think there too small and breakable from what I've seen even sp and Richards ones now are larger and unbreakable! I personally think mjs hoppers should be like what the mkiii hopper design was! Unbreakable and larger with more room and space for banging organics! Oh so the Fairfield fogo is fortnightly instead of weekly hmmm interesting! Parramatta this November with veolia is weekly fogo, weekly garbage and fortnightly recycling! Trucks will be Dennis superior paks both side and rear loader! With a few of the current merc buchers as spares! Parramatta gets new recycling and organic bins from late this month have to see if the organic bins will have air vents! I know they'll be black instead of dark green from my understanding!
Must just be such a professional operator... the way he observed that bin still loaded with grass at 5:18 and shook it appropriately is testament to his knowledge and ability! Forgot to mention this lifter had brand new actuators fitted as well, helps it look "in spec" I guess.
Hey Mitch Can I just one question. Why do you only upload once a fortnight instead of uploading once a week which would be for the same amount of time for when the bins get emptied.

Good video mitch and Surprised that the Fogo greens had arrived last few weeks ago since 3 bins, before the new signage trucks

I'm not sure what is more surprising: an in spec Fairfield truck/ has half a spill shield or that nothing was spilt.

damn mitch nice work, how long had it been since you went filming last?
Hadn't been out specifically to do videos for about a year, last time would've been May 2023.
@@AussieGarbo yeah right
Hey Mitch
Can I just one question.
Why do you only upload once a fortnight instead of uploading once a week which would be for the same amount of time for when the bins get emptied.
I guess you didn't consider I may be basing my uploads on a fortnightly recycling collection schedule...
Ireland Galway Dublin would need some truck save wages bin man panda waste barna waste
