This was the first real roller coaster and first inversion coaster I remember riding and I still enjoy it even with all that Cedar Fair has added. Fun fact: it was also a record breaker as the first roller coaster with four inversions in the world!
one of my favorite smaller Arrow Loopers. it's similar to the Demon at Great America without the brake block before the corkscrews. This one is MUCH quicker through them.. Arrows will always have a special place in the hearts of every Gen X coaster enthusiast.
Great ride, extremely rough as you would expect but is actually forceful throughout the loops and the corkscrews are really fun. Not the best airtime and not a very good drop but such a fun ride
I've read that the Carolina Cyclone is the original. And there are about 5 copy's of this coaster. ua-cam.com/video/j74EvfW2QiU/v-deo.html This is practically the same ride in Dutch theme park " De Efteling"! Allthough Carolina Cyclone looks to be original with even the original trains. Python has been restored 2 years ago, with new tracks, apart from the brakes, station, chain hill and first drop. It also has newer trains.
Hmm Now say you were to go on this Rollercoaster on September 14 during a choir trip with your group of...odd... people. At around 6:17 pm you get on the Rollercoaster noticing the cart is a bit shakey. You didn't feel safe at all but the rest of the choir and your best friend wanna go on it so you reluctantly oblige. Little do you know this ride will end up being your last. At 6:19, you go over a loop. You see sparks and hear the screeching of metal. Now, you're at the apex of the loop-de-loop. suddenly you feel weightless and hear screaming of your fellow choir members. This makes you scream as your long red hair flows through the air. You're thinking of all the things you've accomplished in your life. Student body, your religions, your music back at home, your cheese obsessed parents. You wonder if all of that stuff really matters as you felt a warm liquid. It looked to be red in color but you only get a glimpse of it before all you see is black. You feel like you're sailing through space and then, you see it. A fortune telling machine who asked you a simple question "Would you like to ride the cyclone?"
This ride is the worst one in the park. We had front row on the purple cart and it banged your head around like crazy. The hurler was smoother than this one. I wish they’d tear this ride down or renew it. Definitely not worth any wait.

Headbanger of a ride

It hurt my neck so bad 😭😭
I pulled a muscle or pinched a nerve In my neck during the ride
@@mimikyu__-same my back and neck was sore the whole weekend

I Like The Lift Hill Sound From Arrow Dyamics
My favorite one is the lift hill from the knighthawk as it starts to go up
This was my favorite ride at carowinds, thanks for uploading it to youtube!
This coasters corkscrews over the walkway. You can pick up coins, phones, and other things that drop out of people’s pockets. 😁👍
Rode it last night. It was first night of Scarowinds. No waiting in line for this.
I do agree that everyone deserves a thank you note
The ride's opening date is March 22, 1980! Add that to the description please!
Updated the description. Thanks for the info.
I love this ride!! But when I went on it. It was at night and the ride stopped at the top before the drop!!
It was scary! 😅😅
This was my first ever coaster when I was 12.
this ride was closed when I went yesterday (sadly) but I’m going again this summer and I’m gonna make my sister do it with me >:)
I rode it yesterday, but my first ride ever was yesterday and it was the fury 325
Bruh, how did you even ride the fury jesus

It’s so bad, and I’ve been on relatively worse and rougher rides, but this one messed my neck up badly.
Y’all will be alright. This coaster paved the way for a lot and carowinds is not getting rid of it anytime soon
I hate the drop on it is scary
No masks or sanitiser anywhere.
It was last year before the virus.
Lmao like Carowinds even opened this year
Carowinds didn’t even open this year lol
It literally says may 2019 at the beginning.
virus' don't care about your mask. And neither does anyone with a brain. Let it go already... it's over.
No line at all
Probably went on a Monday or Tuesday, there was a line (not too long though) when I went on a Monday
