Beautifully done, my friend! Your guitar tones paired with those pads like a fine wine. 🥹 I love the quality of your content and clarity of your demos. Keep making awesome stuff!
I spent the last 5 months trying to figure out what this heavenly pad sound was and HOW TO GET IT!!!! I love the tital of your video because ALL of us worshippers have been searching for this atmosphere pad pedal miracle!! It's literally a miracle we have this!! I would pay thousands for this one!!!!
Basically if you have good reverb/ volume and volume pedal you can create the same thing - and much more versatile in sense of tonality / chords (minor, major, sus , e.t.c.
Hey. I often use a pad one the “major 1” to introduce the key of a song or to play underneath someone talking. Recreating that over and over or trying to set a layer of effects on the fly isn’t always feasible for me. So I like the instant access to a pad to do that for me. Much less work. A personal preference.
I play in a small church band. Me as the guitarist with a drummer, beginner bass player and keys player that only knows the basics. I ordered this a few days ago to help breathe a little life into our sound in the background. Your playthrough really gave me a lot of confidence because I use a Helix and was curious how I'd hook it up to it and how it would sound. Was it fairly easy to connect to the helix?
This is really great. One way that I have been able to do a very similar thing is to load pads via usb into a looper pedal. I don't get that clean readout that this unit has, but that's the only real downfall.
This is so sweet. I have a Stomp as well and this is perfect. Question: how are you adjusting volume when hooked up to the Stomp? Is the Stomp volume simply the same volume knob since you've Effects Loop'd it in? Could I daisy in another volume knob to control levels going back into the Stomp? Sorry if this sounds dumb.
Hey! Thank you so much. It’s an awesome pedal. The pedal does have an output adjustment in a hidden hold-down feature that I later discovered. However, I have a volume knob after the Atmosphere going and before the Stomp.
@@JCruzProject Super helpful. Thank you. I'm thinking of getting one of those tiny Saturnworks volume pedals (I saw it on another video) and sitting it between the Atmosphere and Stomp. Just pre-ordered the Atmosphere. We'll see how long it takes to get here
@@JCruzProject Ooh. Thanks for that. If I'm thinking correctly on this, that means I'd want to get the Stereo Volume with the A10k pot, correct? Or the Compact Volume (mono) A10k pot, since it'll run mono into the Stomp? Any insight here? Sorry for so many questions.
Hi there. When the Atmosphere Audio goes thru the guitar effect chain, will it effect the output volume of the guitar sound? Is there a 'fight' in space for the guitar sound and the unit's sound?
Hello, just responded to your original comment: Hey. This isn’t a “guitar pedal”. So it technically can not go in your chain. You would need some sort of a/b/y switch. In my case, I’m able to put it through my HX STOMP. Therefore it shares my output without effecting my guitar signal.
Hey. So as mentioned, this isn't a traditional "Guitar Pedal" perse. It only has outputs. Think of it as an "MP3" or sorts. However, if you wanted to use it the way I'm currently using it (via "AUX IN" of the HX STOMP), then you would NOT be able to run FX's using the "FX LOOP". Therefore you would need to run external WET FX into the front of the HX STOMP. Hope this reply makes sense.
Very true. For me, the price point is determined by it’s functionality. So, I like that I can put this on my pedalboard, loop it into my actual guitar rig, function like a guitarist (meaning never take my hands off the guitar), and bring pads with me everywhere that I go. It’s definitely a specific need, but I LOVE IT!
Some people have paid thousands for a one-trick-pony Klon pedal, so 300 bucks for 5 quality-sounding pads seems ok. Wish they were modal (5ths) instead of tonal major chords, though.
This is actually justifiable, people use pads all the time. Imagine having the tracks glitch and this thing can save the set... Possibly ending the need for a keys guy 😂
Well, it would be tough to do that without actually splitting your guitar signal. Which can effect your tone. In that case, I might be more inclined to send a separate signal from the pedal to the front of house.
@@JCruzProject Definitely not an expert, only recently got my first pedals to make use of with my electric, but wouldn't it be possible to have a combined signal with an A/B/Y splitter and just make sure that every pedal in the chain that you want to exclusively affect guitar tone is placed before the split/combination point?
Hey, not entirely sure what you mean? Are you referring to the BPM of the PAD itself? If so, there wouldn't be a need to control that. The PADS aren't tempo based.
The idea behind the pedal is not bad but honestly you can do the same by using a freeze pedal with some delay and reverb after it in stereo of course and you're done. This pedal looks like a good idea in a very immature size and poor features.
Hey. Though the concept of creating pads with a pedal like the “Freeze” may work on paper, it’s not ideal for instant pads at any given moment. Don’t get me wrong, this isn’t a “must-have” pedal for everyone. However, as an ambient player, this has been my most used pedal since becoming an owner of one. Just because it may not be your thing, I wouldn’t call it “immature” or “poor”. It’s just not your thing and that’s totally ok 👍🏼.

Hook it up to a volume pedal. I used to run pads on my iPhone and then into my volume pedal. Great space maker
Could you add a volume guitar pedal 2nd in the chain and then run that to the system/front of house and control volume like that?

does it work for minor keys?
Hey! So minor keys are not stocked loaded in. So you’d maybe have to load those yourself.
Choose a major key 3 semitones up and you'll have minor - not super intuitive on the fly but C = Am, G = Em, etc.
