The inability to use simple critical thinking skills is shameful. One wonders if it is capacity or lack of education that leads you to superstitious nonsense like this.
I have many reasons, but never personal reasons, to toss out all religions. I'm a spiritual and dimensional person. So as far as my personal faith is... The oneness of the Universe, both beyond and within, is my faith. For none are beyond me. Walk in the path of enlightenment. Repent in the path of redemption. And all may heal together. To leave no one behind. The thing is... I am extremely against Gods who act out evil through their notion of justice. YHWH is of the many Gods who brought forth my ire. Should his love be less than his judgment? His wrath? No. For if YHWH truly had boundless love. Then every soul can be saved, and every soul be given the path of redemption should they reject. That every rejection is still given mercy and love. For true judgment... It is a line that I rather never cross. Because if I do, then I am the Maker of Fate. It is a weight I dare not repeat too many times in my eternal existence.
@frosted1030 I, too, am shocked by the lack of critical thinking skills of atheists. They have no explanation for the presence of matter at the time of the big bang. They begin the presumption that it always existed, ex nihilo, and have no explanation as to how it was created. That's faith, not science.
@frosted1030 atheists put blind faith in the belief that a non-programmed-by-a-Mind, unguided-by-a-Mind accident (the brain if God did NOT create and program it) can be "trusted" to give them "truth." I don't have enough blind faith to be an atheist!
I've always said, "I'm not trying to win an argument, I'm trying to win a soul", but honestly, I can't scrunch my toes tight enough to keep this lesson off them. Prayers are appreciated.
Not everyone is supposed to be an evangelist or an apologist or a teacher. We are to be prepared to give an answer for the hope we have not have endless theological debates. We do need more people in the body of Christ serving one another.
So true. When I was younger, I thought I'd be a good apologist and teacher, but that was wishful thinking on my part, not reality. The Holy Spirit did not give me those gifts, which I am now thankful for. Serving in more humble, practical ways is the way for many of us.

As I work in the chemical dependency field, I have coworkers and clients I sometimes have a hard time speaking with compassion. My knowledge can puff me up, I speak from my mind, and it's like I forget the whole purpose of why I speak. I got this job because of what God did for me. It's been a prevalent thing on my mind. Compassion... For as He is in heaven, so are we on earth. Thanks Nate
This is a hard field to work in. I pray you are successful in working with the people. A major thing I've noticed is normal people don't think the way a addict does so they don't see how to an addict 1+2=1 when they'd see 1+2=3. It's hard to reconfigure a person's thinking so they can see things the way they are/should be vs what they've known and in some what they've grown up with. And that's the other thing, is addicts don't see that the way their thinking is wrong, or different than every1 else. They have a huge distrust of cops and authority becuz what they was doing was illegal and everytime they've been told to be honest and it'll be ok they probably wound up in more trouble, than if they would've lied. And another thing I've learned is there are different types of addicts, like you will have some who still held on to their morals or sense of it anyway, and others who never grew up with them and was never taught what right or wrong is. All addicts are selfish whether they realize it or not usually they don't becuz they think they r the victims and most r, but doesn't change that they r selfish. I'd challenge the victim thinking, make them take power back from those situations and realize when they r being selfish. Anyway good luck idk if any of that will help u with ur work but hopefully it does.❤
This video spoke to me on a personal level as I've spent way too much time arguing with people on social, calling them names and being rude and arrogant. Rage and having a temper has always been my downfall and one of the hardest things in my life to change. I pray I can be different, be patient and to not react when acted on.
I’ve fallen to the same temptation, brother. This video hit me pretty hard as a wake up call. Arguing on social media is very addictive (I’ve found). I have even justified it so I could continue doing it in the past. I’m praying for you, pray for me too. God bless you.
Convicting. Thank you for sharing. As Voddie Baucham says...if you can't say Amen, you ought to say Ouch. I've got some weeding to take care of. Thank you God for your love, mercy, and discipline.
As a, 'Bold ambassador of Christ,' I no longer get offended by humanity or the world. Before Christ found me, I would get easily upset and would allow my anger to get the best of me. But now, after having been told the most vile things I am humbly honored. I am honored that sharing the truth of the gospel pierces the hearts of man, and I am honored that my journey of sanctification has caused many to stop being my friend. The Lord is beautiful and when we are truly born again, there is a cleansing of the heart and a renewing of the spirit that transforms us. A transformation that allows us to see how we were cheating on God with sin, and how we find sin detestable and we no longer rely on our strength to overcome sin, but we rely on Christ and Christ alone.
It’s true that our character (fruits of the spirit) should be evident. As fallen people, we’re pressed by Satan relentlessly. If I had to prove God exists because my behavior is always good, then how could we believe in a savior if we don’t need one? I’ll never be perfect, and God will use my weaknesses as well as my strengths .
I’m still watching the video but I had to pause and text this-I’m right at the part where the young man explains someone shared the book of Daniel with him and because he knows history, this sparked something in him. I repeat-she shared the book of “Daniel.” This flies COMPLETELY in the face of what Andy Stanley teaches and believes and I love it! Let the word do the work-you don’t need to throw away 1/2 the Bible to win souls.
Examining ourselves is so crucial. It’s hard to do because it can be such an uncomfortable experience but we should love having our dark deeds be exposed by the light for the light lives within us.
I spent most of my life as an atheist for the same reason - none of the peopke i knew who said they were christians acted any differently to everyone else. I became a christian once i met someone different - it started me on a journey of asking questions and becoming more ooen to different possibilities
Have we forgotten how martyrs are made? They aren't killed for being race-baiting assholes or stirring up the masses into riots. Martyrs are killed for bringing you our best things. Atheists don't like salt....yet.
@@anneprice6372 OK, you're not open to evidence, but do you _have_ any good evidence that your god is real, rather than just imaginary? Because I hear Muslims claim all the time about how Allah has transformed their life. I see no reason to believe _any_ theist in the absence of good evidence that their claims are actually true. Typically, they just believe in whichever religion and whichever god or gods they were taught to believe as children. And since they contradict each other, most of them _must_ be wrong.
It’s crazy how similar my story also is. I left the Mormon church at 18, then became an atheist, then took a logic class and met a cute guy at work that was into logic and we would debate at work, started texting about the bible, but it was really not a logical debate that won me over, rather his patience and kindness with me and watching how he lived his life. Ultimately I was saved by an experience with Jesus via mushrooms, but nonetheless, it was very real. I even have had very similar experiences with sex/porn to what he’s talking about. God has delivered me from porn addiction, lust and bisexuality. Feeling that and knowing that He is the cause of my deliverance is AMAZING. Being able to say no to those things is NOT me. It’s all God, and it’s very powerful
Debating with non believers can be like hitting a brick wall because it’s not a matter of just logical argument, dulling with your points, because it’s something that happens in the heart. The Holy Spirit is like a scanner, and if your heart is hungering as this young man’s was, God will find you.
@@Theo_Skeptomai Yes, if you can find prophecy in the Bible that turns out to be false. For instance, the prophecies in Daniel predicting the fracturing of Alexander the Great's empire into the realms of his generals, the rise of cleopatra, then her being conquered by Rome, etc. There are lots of ways to falsify the God we know from scripture. If these prophecies were ever false that would show that the rest of scripture would likely also false and therefore unreliable and it would further suggest that the god that is declared to be true would be equally false or unreliable. However, all evidence points to prophecies being true down to the letter. Anytime someone claimed xyz didn't actually exist it soon becomes uncovered in archaeology like in the case of King David and his kingdom and very recent findings on the Exodus.
@@Theo_Skeptomai Falsification is a scientific concept, they are not starting from a base of reason, and seem to lack any critical thinking skills.. you are wasting your time.
My faith is the Oneness of the Universes, both beyond and within. Walk in enlightenment. Even if it means that one requires a God. The wrest is... Null and Void.
My journey is not quite this entertaining but none the less still valid and may help someone. I grew up in the church, I was even an altar boy till I was 18. Like this man the blatant hypocrisy is what drove me away. From there I found friends that were atheist and other alternative religions. I fell in with the other religions the most. Man do I have stories from that time. Let's just say after I left that group I called myself an atheist but there was no way I could be a real atheist. Instead I came up with my own belief system, and I battled other Christians about the Bible and it's validity mainly because they would not leave me alone about going to church and coming back to God. Then I met my wife. She was Christian but different from any other that I had met. She eventually got me to go to church 1x per month and only to take our kids because she had to volunteer. I sat in the back of the congregation. After about a year I hit some really hard times financially. I had no idea how I was going to pay all the bills. I had to choose between food or bills and I had chosen food the last paycheck. Just so happened that this week's sermon was on tithing. Initially I was upset, mumbling to myself that now God wants my money too. I thought I had heard everything about tithing and had written it off as a money grab for poor suckers. I had read the horror stories about tithing. But then the pastor said something that caught me off guard. He said that God wanted you to test him on his promises about tithing. I looked it up and sure enough right there in Malachi 3:10, God says to test him. So I did. I had just been paid that Friday, and I had not paid any bills yet. I gave 10%. 10% that I could not afford to give. To give you an idea of how bad things were, my girlfriend (now wife) and I went to Applebee's to celebrate our anniversary and could only afford to buy 1 dessert to share. Total price $3 and no tip for the waitress. Even that $3 was a big deal and here I am about to give over $100 as a test. What happened the following month is nothing short of a miracle. I was able to pay all my bills including late fees but plenty of food for the house, get new clothes for my kids, get hired on at a better more stable job, and still had money left over in the bank. God for sure kept his promise. I converted and have not looked back since.
If you think atheists are offended by religious pride, arrogance, condescension and hypocrisy, think how much more godly Christlike believers are offended with them!
2 Peter 2:7 "and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked' 2:8 "(for by what he saw and heard that righteous man, while living among them felt his righteous soul tormented day after day by their lawless deeds) Ezekiel 9:4,6 "and the Lord said to him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof"
You don’t get to be offended you are exactly the same as them. Jesus paid for all sins you are not above the unbeliever you are blessed to be able to put your faith in Jesus.
@@chloemartel9927 God also blames the actions of unbelievers on what his people do. As it is written: “God’s name is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you.” (Rom 2:24) When we misrepresent God, thus giving ammunition to those who are looking for excuses to reject God, we share responsibility in the decision they make in unbelief. Just like our testimony and love for others is the most powerful tool we have when preaching the Gospel, our hypocrisy is also Satan's most powerful weapon against the same Gospel.
Here is a quote from a book that you recommended, Tactics by Gregory Kouk. "Without the work of the Spirit, no argument-no matter how persuasive-will be effective. But neither will any act of love nor any simple presentation of the gospel. Add the Spirit, though, and the equation changes dramatically." This came form the section in the opening capter titled "Do arguments work?" and his answer was yes, arguing is a good thing and it does work. The key though is how you do it and with because anything done without the fruits of the Spirit is futile folly.
This is really good word! I need to be reminded of this truth continually. We can't change minds or hearts only the Spirit can. Its the Father that draws people to Christ.
It is fruit* not fruits. It's important to point out just because the Spirit is involved doesn't mean they will convert. Jesus was rejected and He did everything by The Spirit.
I have been seeing Christians behave like the pharisees. People ask for help and they have nothing helpful to say and begin to mock, belittle, shame, ridicule them in the same breath. They even do this to other Christians who ask for guidance/help with something they're struggling with. At first I'm frustrated as I rant in private shouting in my head "what are you doing!?" but it quickly turns to weeping, mourning and lamenting knowing they are a large reason many leave the faith. A big area I struggle with Christians (not Christianity) is that I see very little compassion and consistency. What's harder is breaking through to these stubborn, arrogant, and egotistical people. To get them to stop telling others "you're prideful" when they don't see it themselves. It really breaks me that I see so much of it and it feels like there's nothing I can do. Pray for them to see the err of their actions. And I could use comfort or stillness. Typing this up has got me weeping.
We shouldn't be hypocrites but this is still a heart issue. No one is gonna shift judgment on judgment day, to some bad Christians. I can't use a bad math teacher as an excuse to hate math. Luke 16:31 Modern English Version 31 “He said to him, ‘If they do not hear Moses and the Prophets, neither will they be persuaded if someone should rise from the dead.’ ”
I follow no religions nor Gods. The Grand Cosmos is eternities older... ... ... The oneness of the universe, both beyond and within, is my faith. For none are beyond me, in absolute.

Oh, full video of this interview is on Anil Kanda. Very good to listen to. I can't wait for your perspective oh wise discipline. This guy has been blessed.
Ouch. The rebuke landed. I tend towards argumentative smugness, and needed this reminder. Definitely doing a lot better now than I was as a teen, but I still have flesh.
Passing blame... hypocrisy is not an excuse for a personal decision to walk with the Lord. Hypocrisy should be a lesson in what not to do but not an excuse to not follow Christ
This is something I'm dealing with in my own family. My father has a problem with those that don't walk Ashley walked. It has nothing to do with be perfect, but having a humble and contrite heart, with His fruits on display. Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control. His lead, our willingness to follow. The change in my life by reading the bible and putting my faith into action has provided the evidence to refute organized religion and tradition.
Oh my goodness this dude and Nate feel like the most relatable people In the world to me. You can basically replace the sexual temptations with addiction and this is exactly my journey ( not EXACTLY but mental turning to physical proof ) I was Always a man alone in any camp and one foot in all camps. I’m thankful God created me like this because it has brought me to complete and passionate reliance on Jesus.
I love how i wake up to the exact video I feel like I've been intended to see. Loving the work on this channel, it's so refreshing and makes me excited to physically join a church when I can.
The really cool thing about what you mention about the pattern of teaching is that it also exists in the Old Testament too, showing that the God we serve is the same God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. When we look at Leviticus 19:33-34 talking about being kind to sojourners, or 1 Kings 8:60 and Isaiah 56:7, both of which talk about the temple of the Lord being for all nations, we see that it's always been in the heart of God to care for the unbeliever and unsaved through our conduct. To show them His glory through our character, and that we are enabled by His spirit and guidance to do so. Awesome take man
I love this. A real rebuttal to Andy Stanley "unhitching" from the Old Testament. This is right inline with Jesus teaching of Himself in ALL the scriptures.
Love this convert content I think it shows other non believers that they may not be alone in their current beliefs. Keep it up. Also love your channel Nate you have really inspired me to read more bible and learn more.
15:28 a similar thing happened to me. It was like a lightning bolt that blew away these desires while in prayer. It’s interesting he described it in a similar manner.
Yes... Time to stand on the word of God as the primary worldview we speak with. They don't care, not really, they're using your sense of right and wrong, truth and standard of justice as a tool against you. Don't give up your position to "win" them with reasonable arguments. Give them no excuse for their rebellion and sin, then give them the Gospel. #Presup for the glory of God.
I can relate, growing up as a JW, I saw so many hypocrisy that it really turned me off. So it was easy to be a teen in rebellion. I didn't come to Christ until I had an encounter with spirits whom we were chatting with. At that point. I reasoned on my mind that if there are spirits, then there has to be a hierarchy. Shortly after God sent a preacher and I became a Christian.
This was a great video. Actually I think one of your best. Fantastic content and it’s why I keep sharing with friends. What I enjoy most is that this content genuinely forces me to self evaluate. Bless you and your ministry Nate, from New Zealand.
This video definitely spoke to me because my relationship has been a little rocky and not going well for a little while now and i've been praying for wisdom to act more Christlike and more patiently so that the light of God can shine through me, but I've been failing a lot by being impatient and selfish. While I was already aware my behavior was wrong, this video, especially the scripture, helped me to realize that I need to not only pray about this more, but live it out and be a better Christian. not only just for my relationship, but in general. I've heard of these verses before, but I'm reading through the Bible for my first time since rededicating my life to Christ and still have a lot to learn and understand
Too often we use the sword of the spirit as a sword to “win” a debate or too look righteous on social media. Nobody truly wins when we do that, though.
I've been following for a while, I have to say this. This was probably the best video I've seen so far. It hit so many good points and I think something like this is the exact message the world needs to hear to begin their journey to finding the truth. And the crazy thing about it is all that was said in a summarized nutshell if you will, is what the bible teaches us to do.
We aren’t called to seek out debates. So yes OP is correct. We are told to be ready to answer and defend the faith. Debates are a vain waste of time for the most part.
I loved this! The Holy Spirit was speaking to me through this video big time! I had to keep pausing to take notes lol. This was such a blessing! Keep doing His good work!
This was so so so good to hear. Been a Christian for 10 years and I have learned alot of things in church over the years but was never a regular church going. I felt judged or not perfect enough and that’s hard for a new believer. In 6 months of Bible study on UA-cam and reading my Bible and watching the chosen I feel like I am finally beginning to unlock my purpose in life as a Christian. It’s not to give up a sinful habit because it makes us unclean or unitedly to God. Which is true. It’s not just to read my Bible because I’m supposed to. (Which is hard to do when u don’t feel like u have much help where to start). But learning and understanding what Jesus did and how he really taught us with his actions and parables to not be Hippocrates or slaves to the law but to live in love and humility and righteousness for God out of love and to spread that love. And to help usher in the kingdom of heaven on earth. I am so thankful for these types of videos. I feel like I have taken leaps and bounds in my faith these past few months and have actually made drastic changes in my life because of it.
We all are hypocrites to some extent. But hypocrisy with evil intentions means you were never a Christian. Otherwise you’d fear weeping and mashing of teeth.
Debates have their place especially to show atheist that they are not as rational as they think and that Christianity is pretty much rational. Debates have their place for protecting the faith. But conversion is a personal journey.
Hey Nate, Let me start by saying that I love your channel and you have taught and challenged me greatly, and this video continues in that vein. I watched Sebastian’s testimony in its entirety and I was initially challenged in the same way that you challenged us with. But alarm bells started to ring when it got to the Q&A section of his interview where he slipped in the phrase “a great controversy”. Upon deeper examination I found that he is a Seventh day Adventist speaker. This stuck out to me as I have been looking into the SDA theology. They are not orthodox in theology and lean heavily on the prophetic words of Ellen G White. This may be why he grounds his interview around the power of prophecy… the movement is a cult/cultish in theology. So, although there are some challenging thoughts within his testimony, we must also consider and be aware of the foundation from which he builds his case. Keep up the brilliant work Nate, and maybe this could lead to some other streams of teaching for your YT audience. God bless.
Yes! As soon as I saw him, I knew who he was. I’m a former SDA and he’s spoken at a youth camp I attended when I was younger. Sebastian Braxton is an SDA speaker and holds true to their false doctrine and theology. Thank you for bringing this to Nate’s attention.
Adventists love to speak about the books of Daniel and Revelation to connect to their alleged prophetess Ellen White. Telltale signs of an Adventist is when they first mention the books of Daniel and Revelation and then the sabbath
"Faith rests upon evidence, not demonstration. That was always my issue as an atheist: You want me to be a Christian first, THEN find out why. But God is not insecure. You can evaluate Him BEFORE you even believe." This is the most important part of this video. If you were telling a person with cancer about a treatment with a 100% success rate, even if they wanted to believe it was really available, you'd certainly tell them to research about it themselves and study deeply before taking such a massive chance, wouldn't you? Yet we constantly tell people to "just pray and read the Bible!" Instead tell them: "I understand that it is hard to believe, but look into the history and archaeology, study from unbiased sources if you can, and dig into the Old and New Testament, and make your own decision based on what you find."
Keep spreading jesus word dont engage with scoffers they get a kick out of just walk away and say a silent preyer for them if god will take it from there. ❤
One of the best advice my father taught me was this: do not get mad at God because of what other people do. My dad, a lot like this man in this video, ran away from God in his youth because of the hypocritical behavior of the christians around him. He obviously came back to God, but when I was a teenager trying out different youth groups, he shared this with me so I wouldn't make the same mistakes he did. And that helped me to keep walking with the Lord despite how other christians behave.
We are to act as Christ like as possible and pray for wisdom discernment and discipline to do just that. Not only is this what we are called to do but others are watching and it helps being understood doing the great commission.
I think he is 100% correct and I talk all the time about my belief in the main reason people are against Christianity is because of Christians not portraying the God we serve in their lives. We all fall short sometimes and that’s okay but overall the people around us need to be able to look at us and say they’re different from the others. And as always we have to walk in the love of Jesus towards others. Exactly like you said not seeking debate but seeking to love people and show them Gods love through our own actions and words.
Biblical prophecy, in particular from the book of Daniel, is what persuaded me to turn away from the New Age movement and follow Jesus with everything I’ve got. (26 yrs ago)
I used to be such a hypocrite (worse than I am now!) but I have been convicted each day and my counselor challenges me in my sin and hypocrisy Lord bless her.
I would really enjoy more teachings on how to _do_ the 2 Timothy 2. Some of us haven’t had a good set of examples like this. Practical this vs that style teaching
I disagree with the comparison, I think they are both tools fit for situations. U like the spoon because u aren't eating pasta, but that doesn't make the fork inferior in general.
Watching this I could help but scream "remember what the fruit of the spirit is! One of the attributes is GENTLNESS. We can't go around fighting and screaming and displaying hostility." Glad he went there directly himself, but that's what it is to be a Christian. You are to be loving, joyful, peaceful, gentle, all the things the Bible says the fruit of the spirit is. Drives me nuts when I see Christians display hate even if they aren't hating. If it looks like hate, it is hate.
I'm still trying to process my path but poorly informed Christians or aggressive and hypocritical Christians were a strong deterrent for me. I've had instances where I'm genuinely looking for answers and I've had Christians bombard me with anger or talk down to me for not knowing the answer. It doesn't encourage me to continue to pursue it. But. I'm a hardy person and I don't let these things close my mind to possibilities. I can see how it would discourage other people permanently though.
Yeah, I apologize for those Christian’s that treated you like that. That is not what the faith is about. Many call themselves Christian’s but don’t follow what the bible says.
@commandounknown4404 For sure. I at least have the wisdom to separate actions, words, and associations. A sandwich maker can claim to make the best sandwich in the world but make something awful. Even so, I wouldn't hate all sandwiches henceforth. The same is true for religion. I have had enough experiences outside of secular explanation that I believe in something bigger than the physical world without a doubt. I still have questions about whether Christianity is the true way, but I listen to philosophers and representatives of many different religions frequently. I am genuinely seeking answers, I haven't found the nails that make the wall solid yet. I'll keep searching and hope that either I can find confidence in what to believe or that God at least knows that I am seeking truth.
@@IchNachtLiebe I am happy that you are seeking the truth. I did the same not to long ago before becoming a Christian. The Bible does say Matthew 7:7-8 New International Version Ask, Seek, Knock 7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. Continue to seek the truth and I pray that you can come to saving faith.
I do think there's value to debate if we can keep our pride out of it. We'll get poked at and people will try to provoke us but we need to be able to offer a reason for what we believe. Sometimes, that means clarifying what we believe. Like people trying to put faith up against reason. God doesn't ask us to have faith without reason but gives us good reason to believe.
I see this pride and condescension from fellow Christians on Twitter all of the time. The sad thing is, they do read their Bible. I think it's often because birds of a feather flock together, and when they do flock together, they validate each other's beliefs and egos. Very concerning.
It could be that, but I think it's more along the lines of them BEING HUMAN like everyone else. They should do better and have no excuse for not raising the standard, but they can hardly be blamed for atheists rejecting God, because CHRIST is the standard atheists should be looking at.
This is a good video. I'd say, also, that it's important we also lovingly engage our brethren in these things with kindness and patience - there are some whose zeal can come across as aggressive, but that reflects their own struggles with rejecting the world, or letting Christ's love seat itself in their hearts. There is a danger to get so frustrated with the brethren that we want to walk away - to say "these church folks don't get it like I do," in relation to how to love as Christ has loved us. For example - we may hold close to our cultural practices, and see someone who doesn't as "doing it wrong," creating in us a sense of distaste. It would be good for us to take those times in prayer, and gently but firmly love those brethren, while also asking God to show us what strengths they have that God may want us to glean, and where he may be correcting our own thinking. I hope that makes sense - as someone who has been quick to flog the church for "doing it wrong", rather than prayerfully engage with the body in a loving way by default, I'm sensitive to my own proclivities towards self-rightiousness. You touched on it when calling out the tendency to say "Not me! I'm not the hypocrite!" It's so tempting.

@frosted1030 atheists put blind faith in the belief that a non-programmed-by-a-Mind, unguided-by-a-Mind accident (the brain if God did NOT create and program it) can be "trusted" to give them "truth." I don't have enough blind faith to be an atheist!
@@frosted1030I'm curious, what knowledge are you in possession of that you assume is Christian's are lacking?
A great saying for this is “Preach the gospel at all time and use words when necessary”.

Thanks Nate
If you need an imagined threat hanging over your head to act compassionately, you are psychotic and need help.
Amen🙏🏼🙌🏼
I work in a similar field. Thanks for reminding me of this.

I think debating can work with some people, relation works with others, and with some your lifestyle is convincing. Great video. 🙏

OK, you're not open to evidence, but do you _have_ any good evidence that your god is real, rather than just imaginary?
Mushrooms? I love Jesus and belive him but, mushrooms?
Debating with non believers can be like hitting a brick wall because it’s not a matter of just logical argument, dulling with your points, because it’s something that happens in the heart. The Holy Spirit is like a scanner, and if your heart is hungering as this young man’s was, God will find you.
Do you know of any situation, circumstance, or occasion that could possibly _falsify_ your baseless assertion?

Funny how he blamed his choices on someone else's behaviour.
2 Peter 2:7 "and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked' 2:8 "(for by what he saw and heard that righteous man, while living among them felt his righteous soul tormented day after day by their lawless deeds)
Ezekiel 9:4,6 "and the Lord said to him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof"

Hey Nate,
Let me start by saying that I love your channel and you have taught and challenged me greatly, and this video continues in that vein.

I particularly enjoyed the scriptures you mentioned like Romans 1:20-23

I loved the question "Why is this so important to you?" That's so much better than Frank Turek's "If Christianity were true, would you believe it?"
Some would say Rom 1:18 to Rom 2 is Paul’s interlocutor not Paul
The Bible does say
Matthew 7:7-8
New International Version
Ask, Seek, Knock
7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
