Dan, absolutely! In fact, interior accent walls are one of the most common uses for the product.

You would need to cover your old stones with wood (Plywood or OSB) before you started installing Evolve Stone. Thank you for the question.

What kind of nails are you using and the nailer
I don't think Mark understands that the barrier needs to be tight and straight.
Can I place these over stucco??
To stay within the warranty of Evolve Stone you should put OSB over the Stucco, then add the house wrap and rain barrier and apply the Evolve to that. Hope that helps you.
Only for the rich. I can lay real stone cheaper.
And the real stone looks better.
