Dylan Blue is the king of all blue fragrances. This fragrance was my first ever designer fragrance purchase. It will always have a spot in my collection.
I’ve smelled sauvage, blue de Chanel, and YSL Y lines and out of all of them Dylan blue is my favorite. I like Blue de Chanel but it doesn’t perform as well as Dylan blue.
I dont know if its just me but it seems dylan blue only lasts for 2 hours on me. Maybe im just nose blind but when im home from college i can barely smell it on me after spraying it like 4 hours ago. However the projection is killer. It literally goes to the other side of the room. I dunno maybe because it is hot where i live
@@fuzzyrose9943 At first when I bought it, I thought the same as you. After 2-3 hours I could barely smell it. However, after a while I was told by a friend that they could still smell it. I guess it's true when they say, that if you can smell yourself a little bit, others can smell you A LOT.
@@yournewproblem9390 Tbh i just tried doing a test that i watched fragrance influencers like Jeremy do which is spray the fragrance on you and smell it hours later to see if its still there. So i sprayed Dylan Blue on the back of my hand and 5 hours later i can still smell it and its quite pleasant. But i dont know if its projecting to other people or not cuz i gotta get close to it to smell it.
I got my best compliment from BDC EDP , she said ''I love your smell, it gives me goosebumps!' Don't rely on the opinion of a few people, use the perfume that you like!

I knew Dylan Blue would win this easy, cause it‘s a compliment machine. There are better Aventus clones but Explorer is still a good fragrance that brings compliments. BDC is a little bit boring but it’s really good for special occasions like weddings when you wear a nice suit. It smells classy and won’t offend nobody 😄 Y edp - Ambassador - Profondo would be a interesting battle ✌️❤️

I bet on Dylan Blue and was so right 😀 The more I try and look into fragrances, the clearer it gets that you basically only need Dylan Blue and Versace pour Homme and you are good to go everywhere 😁 From Explorer I only get 4 hours if I spray like crazy. It has a really poor performance. I tried BDC in the Shop but wasn't impressed. Not a must have for me.
I bought a bottle of Chanel Bleu and to be honest I don’t wear it that often. It doesn’t project very well and it doesn’t last very long but I always go back to Versace Dylan Blue and for the price it’s hard to beat. I wear Dylan Blue in the day time and Wanted By Night in the evening lol 😂
For the last five years or so I have rotated strictly between Dylan Blue and Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male(the original aqua colored bottle) I love both, my wife loves both, Le Male will always be my favorite cologne, Dylan Blue is definitely is a fantastic scent!
Versace Dylan Blue is like the Swiss Army Knife of the designer fragrances. Fresh and sweet, sparkling and powdery, all at the same time. I think Bleu de Chanel would have had more points if it was the classic edt (since it is the fresher version).
I got them all 3 and Dylan blue gets me the most compliments but my favorite is MB explorer and BDC is just collecting dust at the moment can't even remember the last time I used it.

Last year I purchased "Blind" my very first Bleu de Chanel EDP. And I have to admit it is Gorgeous. However yesterday I was in a major department store in the UK and they had a bottle of Dylan Blue. I didn't spray test it, but I had a smell of the atomiser. It smells identical to BdC. So when I come to replace my bottle of BdC. It's Dylan Blue. Saving ££££££. Thanking you Curly Fragrance
I finally got BDC Parfum. Bought it blind, it's like heaven on my skin. Why did I wait so long. I love this shit!!! People seem so much friendlier over there, and I have a massive crush on this young lady.
I prefer the Bleu De Chanel Parfum because I’m in my mid 40’s and I like the mature, classy scent it has. But if I want one for a Saturday afternoon or outdoor get together, I’ll spray Dylan Blue because it’s a louder scent that has instant “pop”.
Dylan Blue was the first "high class" fragrance i bought considering im kinda cheap. It reminds me the first vacation i took with my wife when we were barely on a relationship. I have no plans on changing it soon, to me its just the best one.
My opinion: Versace Dylan Blue is really one of the best in terms of everything, price, quality, longevity, and even versatility. People tend to lean more towards Bleu De Chanel because of the brand and the pricing affects people’s decision to think that it is better due to a high price. Montblanc Explorer is good but not the best, i have many people around me smell that and have zero compliments and definitely not a “women pleaser”
yeah versace blue is one of the most versatile fragrances around, easily one of the best in terms of price, quality, projection and longevity not so good but it's really a fresh fragrance so the point isn't to smell so loud.
This video makes me happy. I know that Bleu de Chanel is so hyped but I've tried samples of it and it just smells flat or weak to me. Maybe it doesn't react well with my skin or perhaps it performs better in the heat. But Versace Dylan blue is great. A beautiful looking bottle and it's $100 less expensive, in the US!
The "boxer dropper" part is so true.. my colleagues at work went crazy about it last week, when I wore it. When I bathed in Ristretto Intense Cafe the next day, they didn't even notice it.
I had no idea how good Dylan blue is until I smelt it on my friend who I gave the bottle to. But Eros is my most complemented fragrance from the ladies followed by Dior homme Intense. Only men compliment me on Dior perfume which is one of my favorite.
In your next battle, you should battle two niche fragrances against one designer. I'd be curious to see whether the average woman appreciates men's fragrances as much as you. Maybe PDM Sedley vs Narcisco Rodiguez Bleu Noir vs Nautica Voyage
I smelled Dylon Blue on paper and didn't like it, so i gave my sample to my friend. He wore it, and it smelled completely different on him. It was really really good. A perfect "jack of all trades" fragrance that could work in almost any situation.
Coincidentally versace dylan blue was my scent of the day. Every time you share a comparison and whatever the winner is i wear it next day or buy next day
For me, MB Explorer. I just think its manlier and more versatile than the others. I do believe skin smell and tester is completely different also. Dylan blue and chanel bleu do best in hot weather on my skin. But Mont blanc 🎉
Owned both dylan blue and explorer. I got amazing reactions from explorer and not 1 compliment from dylan blue. It really depends on the person and also i think explorer has a nicer silage. But i would say these 3 all works just as well but blue de chanel is more expensive.
This shows that most people have fake love for fragrances. You love a fragrance because it’s elite and not because it smells better and that’s why you see things like bleu is more manlier and that’s just an excuse to justify your elitism on fragrances

I need to give Dylan Blue another go for a few weekends, I have worn it a multiple times and received no compliments. I've received more with its fresh companion Pour Homme even out of season in the autumn/winter!
Dylan blue smells like right out the barbershop fresh shave. I love it for right out the shower. When I tried the smell from the cap I didn’t really like it but on skin it smells great. I still prefer Bdc edp better and get more compliments at work with bdc edp
Honestly...the most compliments I ever gotten were wearing BDC and Chanel fragrances in general. The second would be AHS Eau Extreme and 3rd is Montblanc Explorer. But then again I also got compliments wearing Initio's Atomic Rose or Dunhill Egyptian Smoke - it all depends on your mood and how you wear the damn thing, the fragrance will not do everything for you. We all know it's sooo subjective and depends on your skin, the activity you're engaged in at the moment, as well as the season. I've used a ton of different fragrances, but the biggest compliment getters were Chopard Heaven (sadly extinct), L' Eau Par Kenzo (for hot days), Salvador Dali Le Roy Soleil, and Bleu de Chanel. My everyday fragrance is CK One, but I also love Fahrenheit, Davidoff Cool Water, Insense Ultramarine and Allure Homme Sports.
People love to hate on Cool Water because it’s inexpensive and has been around for forever, but it’s so good. It’s an excellent hot weather fragrance. Living in South Texas where it’s hot 8-9 months of the year, Cool Water is my go to casual fragrance. Also, the older ladies really seem to like it, which is totally ok with me haha
Didn't love BDC when I first tried it now I have all 3 versions. Simple/familiar scents will usually win in a one off blind smell and there's nothing wrong with that. BDC, Prada Ocean, DH intense and Profumo are just a few frags I didn't love at first but now own and adore.
@@allamebey6776 my favorite is the Parfum but it's the richest and least citrusy so I actually wear the edp as daily wear. Parfum does not project far it's more sticky but lasted on my skin in a intimate bubble for 6+hrs. I got compliments on the parfum hours after application from someone standing next to me.
I love the pedestrian shopping zones of beautiful European cities like yours. The cafes, the stores, the hustle and bustle of the people :) Nice fragrance battle. I wonder how Acqua Atlantique would have done. It’s hard to get a hold of these days.
You’re right, I just searched Atlantique and 50 and 100mls are going through the roof on eBay. I have a 50ml with a lot left which I will make last...... kind of wish I’d stocked up straight after the discontinuation news. Dolce & Gabbana Luminous Night goes for around £200. The mark up on discontinued fragrances is just huge. John Varvatos dark rebel is another one.
from my personal experience i got the most compliments from the fresh scents at versace dylan blue. it would be interesting to see how eros flame fares against versace dylan blue, but versace dylan blue is really hard to beat.
ive had both versace eros and versace flame and what ive noticed is they smell EXTREMELY similar after theyve been on for an hour and onwards. Its pretty much the same but flame has a little bit more of a peppery touch to it while eros is a little bit more sweet. So id assume eros vs dylan blue wouldnt be much different from flame vs dylan
Wearing it right now, love it. I wore pour homme for over 10 years and just discovered dylon blue a few months ago... its pretty damn nice. Definitely on the sweater side but great stuff

Hello Michella, I am still happy that i bought Dylan Blue (because of your video's) and the 200 ml cause i use it alot when i go to the gym. Maby a different kinda battle, but the oldest (but they still making that one) Fragrance against the newest one this year (Ambassador Intense? that is coming out on the 26th of August).
First time I smelt Versace DB I thought - Tom Cruise smelt like this in first Top Gun :D This sent smells 100% like the 80's alpha male. I fell in love with this one immediately.
Just blind bought Dylan blue and pour homme man Versace got some banger fragrances. I’m use pour homme for the gym and when I’m at the house. I’m gonna use Dylan blue for work and going out.
I tried Bleu de Chanel Parfum today for the 1st time and WOW, really loving this smell. I really liked the Dylan Blue as well, but think the BDC is better. Will have to try them both again back to back before deciding which I will purchase. I believe my G/F like the Dylan Blue better.
BdC is better in the regular concentration. Parfum is too sweet. I've found that out all 3 versions eau de toilette is the best. Is the freshest. I don't know why all the comparisons always pick Parfum
I really enjoy wearing Explorer, but I get why it may not be that popular among women. Still a decent and a versetile option though. Now I just have to try Dylan blue as well.

this is interesting. i used to sell men's colognes and channel bleu was one of the most popular we offered. i dont think I've ever sold a single bottle of versace blue.

Funny thing is, I personally don't like BDC and Dylan Blue, but gave them a try and in case of Dylan Blue I got a negative comment. Explorer I do like and for that fragrance I got also compliments. Looks like its more important if it suits me and my personality, more than the "neutral" smell on a piece of paper.
In India, Dylan Blue is very costly. I blind buy on Curlys recommendation. I dont like it or hate it. But girls gave me compliment couple of times. I have not yet found any Blue Fragrance i like. Have ordered Mercedes Benz Cologne and Bentley Azure. Have high hopes on it

Versace DB is a great smell fragrance. However i bought a week ago but unfortunately i returned it. It doesn’t not last even for 2 hours and there is almost 0 projectile after 45 minutes Although i overspray it on my skin and in my short. I really want to keep it because i love the smell but there is no way how weak it is

Agree on Dylan Blue, but replace VPH with Missoni Wave. It's basically the same scent, but with twice the performance and a cheaper price.

It’s not fresh. It’s sweet and dense. I start to think that the majority of people don’t know what fresh smells like.

Try layering Kenneth Cole Black bold underneath it. I get equal comments from both genders with that.

For me, MB Explorer. I just think its manlier and more versatile than the others. I do believe skin smell and tester is completely different also. Dylan blue and chanel bleu do best in hot weather on my skin. But Mont blanc 🎉
Owned both dylan blue and explorer. I got amazing reactions from explorer and not 1 compliment from dylan blue.
It really depends on the person and also i think explorer has a nicer silage.
But i would say these 3 all works just as well but blue de chanel is more expensive.

No surprise here. I always get very good reactions when I wear Dylan blue. It’s a show stopper of sorts.
This shows that most people have fake love for fragrances. You love a fragrance because it’s elite and not because it smells better and that’s why you see things like bleu is more manlier and that’s just an excuse to justify your elitism on fragrances

Dylan blue smells like right out the barbershop fresh shave. I love it for right out the shower. When I tried the smell from the cap I didn’t really like it but on skin it smells great. I still prefer Bdc edp better and get more compliments at work with bdc edp
Honestly...the most compliments I ever gotten were wearing BDC and Chanel fragrances in general. The second would be AHS Eau Extreme and 3rd is Montblanc Explorer. But then again I also got compliments wearing Initio's Atomic Rose or Dunhill Egyptian Smoke - it all depends on your mood and how you wear the damn thing, the fragrance will not do everything for you. We all know it's sooo subjective and depends on your skin, the activity you're engaged in at the moment, as well as the season. I've used a ton of different fragrances, but the biggest compliment getters were Chopard Heaven (sadly extinct), L' Eau Par Kenzo (for hot days), Salvador Dali Le Roy Soleil, and Bleu de Chanel. My everyday fragrance is CK One, but I also love Fahrenheit, Davidoff Cool Water, Insense Ultramarine and Allure Homme Sports.
People love to hate on Cool Water because it’s inexpensive and has been around for forever, but it’s so good. It’s an excellent hot weather fragrance. Living in South Texas where it’s hot 8-9 months of the year, Cool Water is my go to casual fragrance. Also, the older ladies really seem to like it, which is totally ok with me haha

Didn't love BDC when I first tried it now I have all 3 versions. Simple/familiar scents will usually win in a one off blind smell and there's nothing wrong with that. BDC, Prada Ocean, DH intense and Profumo are just a few frags I didn't love at first but now own and adore.

@@allamebey6776 my favorite is the Parfum but it's the richest and least citrusy so I actually wear the edp as daily wear. Parfum does not project far it's more sticky but lasted on my skin in a intimate bubble for 6+hrs. I got compliments on the parfum hours after application from someone standing next to me.

You’re right, I just searched Atlantique and 50 and 100mls are going through the roof on eBay. I have a 50ml with a lot left which I will make last...... kind of wish I’d stocked up straight after the discontinuation news.
Dolce & Gabbana Luminous Night goes for around £200. The mark up on discontinued fragrances is just huge. John Varvatos dark rebel is another one.
from my personal experience i got the most compliments from the fresh scents at versace dylan blue. it would be interesting to see how eros flame fares against versace dylan blue, but versace dylan blue is really hard to beat.
ive had both versace eros and versace flame and what ive noticed is they smell EXTREMELY similar after theyve been on for an hour and onwards. Its pretty much the same but flame has a little bit more of a peppery touch to it while eros is a little bit more sweet. So id assume eros vs dylan blue wouldnt be much different from flame vs dylan

I have 2 daughters in college and each can pick notes in colognes. Neither like Dylan Blue or MB, but like BDC EDP. They actually like most Ralph Lauren scents, more manly/woody smells on me. 😘 Got the best compliment wearing Coach for men at work, almost got pulled into the bathroom, also Eros Flame is a compliment getter for me.

First time I smelt Versace DB I thought - Tom Cruise smelt like this in first Top Gun :D This sent smells 100% like the 80's alpha male. I fell in love with this one immediately.

Just blind bought Dylan blue and pour homme man Versace got some banger fragrances. I’m use pour homme for the gym and when I’m at the house. I’m gonna use Dylan blue for work and going out.
Blue de Chanel, thanks to its strong Sillage due to the notes of star fruit and semisweet dark caramel in the mid, wins hands down!

I tried Bleu de Chanel Parfum today for the 1st time and WOW, really loving this smell. I really liked the Dylan Blue as well, but think the BDC is better. Will have to try them both again back to back before deciding which I will purchase. I believe my G/F like the Dylan Blue better.

BdC is better in the regular concentration. Parfum is too sweet. I've found that out all 3 versions eau de toilette is the best. Is the freshest. I don't know why all the comparisons always pick Parfum
I really enjoy wearing Explorer, but I get why it may not be that popular among women. Still a decent and a versetile option though. Now I just have to try Dylan blue as well.

Funny thing is, I personally don't like BDC and Dylan Blue, but gave them a try and in case of Dylan Blue I got a negative comment. Explorer I do like and for that fragrance I got also compliments. Looks like its more important if it suits me and my personality, more than the "neutral" smell on a piece of paper.

In India, Dylan Blue is very costly. I blind buy on Curlys recommendation. I dont like it or hate it. But girls gave me compliment couple of times.
I have not yet found any Blue Fragrance i like. Have ordered Mercedes Benz Cologne and Bentley Azure. Have high hopes on it

Dylan blue is one of my favourite fragrances i have...in my collection
Versace DB is a great smell fragrance. However i bought a week ago but unfortunately i returned it. It doesn’t not last even for 2 hours and there is almost 0 projectile after 45 minutes Although i overspray it on my skin and in my short. I really want to keep it because i love the smell but there is no way how weak it is
