After a long time , bowlers dominating batsman in their own game called t20. In Ipl every team minimum scored 200 . Now those players feels hell.
That's where the problem is, pitch and outfield must have equally favorable conditions for both batter and bowler to have successfully T20 Tournament.

Usa can now host bilateral series. You have full capacity now to compete with bigger teams in both odi and t20 format. Invite asian teams..donot dismantle the cricket stadiums. Run leagues year long.
You can't keep the Nassau County stadium up because it would be too expensive to host matches. They wouldn't sell enough tickets to make a profit. That's why stadiums the size of Grand Prairie Stadium are great for now.
Yeah, they should invite full member teams but I'm sure they're more than happy to do that but it's up to whether or not the full member teams accept the invitation.

All the GEN Z's complaining about the pitch. Clearly they don't know how West Indies made pitches back in 70s and 80s, pure slow pitches where bowlers dominated. USA prepared one of the best pitches ever, not just a BATSMEN game this world cup.

Batsman has forgotten how to tackle this type of pitch. They are used to playing their favorite shots where the ball doesn’t moves or swing at all. It makes the game one sided and then 200 plus score seems easy to chase. This is what a pitch should look like, it’s like an exam where no teams were prepared. The score is low but is it easy to win, the answer is no and that makes the game more interesting.

First build a proper cricket stadium 🏟️ not some temporary structure.
This was the ICC's idea. No one thought they'd do it until they came up with the idea a year ago. The plan was to host all US matches in Texas and Florida.
In NY there are no actual cricket grounds. But think this temporary pitch was better than playing at a baseball stadium as I think it provided the fan a much better experience. Now if the professional league takes off then hopefully they will build new stadiums but probably at smaller capacities like soccer did.
@@sakenu16 each MLC has already pledged to build their own stadiums and they'll most likely all be done within the next five years. New York will also have a permanent cricket stadium in the future.

I don’t like Batsman dominating the game. We have IPL for that. Now as a cricket fan we are having something that we always dreamt of. A pitch that hardly anybody knows how to tackle and the best batsman scores 40 runs and it also take sheer determination, shows class.

This was a temporary stadium not permanent stadium as the professional league hasn’t grown yet. Hopefully it does take off, but it will depend on people attending the games.

Great job, the US really does deserve its Super 8 spot those first 2 wins against Canada and Pakistan were always going to give them a chance to go through and while the match against Ireland was a washout you already did what you needed to do early and that’s why you’re going through.

Good! The only thing a cricket fan was upset about (also the cricketers) were the sub-standard pitches. In normal conditions, such pitches would be getting demerit points from the ICC itself.

This current Nassau county cricket stadium is a makeshift temporary stadium made for t20 World Cup and will probably be dismantled after WC. I want US authorities to build a world class cricket stadium here after they dismantle this temporary one ! And Indian team will keep coming here again and again to the demand of massive Indian diaspora living in US and Canada. We can also alter the pitch to make it a high scoring pitch that will totally light up the atmosphere here !
USA and Canada can be a good addition to cricket hosting nations, As Cricket fans are growing tired of the regular venues. India, Australia, England, south africa, Windies That's it, these are the only big ones who host world cups. Pitch is good only for bowlers but batsman cannot play general cricket shots. Though using imported pitches should be done after checking if pitches are good enough. And USA can still qualify to play if they win their last match or Pakistan lose their last match badly. Qualifying in top 8 should be easy if they win with a big margin.

Best T20 pitch ever. Low scoring pitches made it more fair on the bowlers and only top class batsmen did well. As a traditional cricket fan I hate T20 with its 200+ scores in 20 overs, just thrashes the game. Need more pitches like NY

Unfortunately, I think our loss is not going to sit well. I doubt the sports popularity will grow because people will think there is such a long way to catch up, similar to soccer. It sucks, but it's the truth. If we continually lose, the popularity will be like soccer here in the US, and most people don't care about soccer here.

USA nassau pitch actually good for sport. More like some of the new Zealand pitches that favout bowlers. Bowlers need these kind of pitches especially because of powerplays and ball change every innings.

The last ODI worldcup's pitches were too lenient. Every team just walked in and casually ratcheted up a 300+ score. No one was complaining back then!
