- This week I had no specific destination so i decided to just take my film camera and walk around randomly in Barcelona!
The only rule was to finish my film role on my Canonet 28 from 1971!
Not all photos were successful but here are some of my favorites!

I found an old but Mint Olympus point and shoot in my mothers storage. Put some batteries in and drove to Seattle 3 hours away. Fantastic color street photos. I love this tiny and sharp 38-105 lens.
Wowww that sounds so cool and spontaneous! Which film roll did you use?
This was a great video, enjoyed watching it!
Thanks so much!!
love the quality of the video! Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much!! Just saw you re also in Barcelona and have a UA-cam channel 🙌🏻 We should meet up!
@@MoreLife_Aris We def should !
I hope you keep making videos about Barcelona. You have an original way of doing them. Personality, vlog, mixed with good video editing.
Wow thank you so much! ☺️☺️
That was a really nice presentation 😊
Thank you very much for the feedback 🥰
Loved it (especially the Sagrada one, probably one that will buzz on Insta :))
Hope so!
Rhythm is getting better and better each single time brother ❤ 👏

Thank you very much!
vid was edited nicely g🔥🔥
Thank you!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Goeie vibe!
Danku!!
Is it really possible to change aperture manually? I read in other reviews that it goes automatic unless you attach a specific flash to the camera.
No, for sure you can! You do have an automatic option on the ring, and that seems to be working the best with the exposure bar, but you can also change it manually! 😇
@@MoreLife_Aris oh nice! So you managed to see some differences in the bokeh based on the aperture? (Because I cannot on mine 😂)
@Dodo96OMG damn that is a valid point hahahahahahha Not sure because I can’t remember which apareture I shot once the photos are developed but it’s a great point… I think you are right!
Hi, I just bought the same camera. What battery do you use, there are couple of suggestion on the web but I have no idea which works best? Which one do you use?
I had to go check because I could’t remember haha energizer ep625g
@@MoreLife_Aris I've read that alkaline batteries make the meter underexpose. Is that so in your case too and if so how do you compensate for the underexposure
@borislavgerov9700 okay so I am far from being an expert hahah but I didn’t notice too much trouble haha but again… I am a beginner when it come to film photography!
@@MoreLife_Aris yeah same, I just picked one canonet 28 up and I wanted to be sure that the photos will be okay haha 😅
@borislavgerov9700 hahah I get it! The trial and error part in film photography is more expensive haha but just go for it! ;)
are you still in bcn? i would love to go in a photo walk with yoU!
I am!! 🙌🏼
No way, I just moved to BCN and be using a Canonet 28 aswell ahah
Damnnnn nice!!!!
How did you deal with the battery? The Canonet 28 (I have one) uses an old mercury battery that is unavailable nowadays.
As the battery is just to power the flash, and because I don’t use the flash, that was not a problem for me ☺️ But also, I found the battery online 😇
@@MoreLife_Aris I thought it powered the meter too? And since it only shoots in automatic or aperture priority all the time this lack of a battery has been an obstacle for me.
Mmm maybe you re right but I haven’t come any issue yet! But I am also not sure whether the battery still has some juice left or not haha but anyways, they are largely available online (amazon included) ;)
@@MoreLife_Aris c’est dommage que je connais pas l’Anglais en tot casta vidéo est bien fait et Barcelone est fantastique
@@athinakostidi9014 Merciii :)

Thanks!! You’re absolutely right! I need to learn the language!
Nice video!!! Can I give you an advice? Try not to play flamenco music, it’s not very barcelonian…
Hahaha thanks! I did not have much Barcelona music choice so I went for a latino vibe hehe
