Todd Chrisley Begins His 12-Year Prison Sentence

- Reality star Todd Chrisley arrived at a Florida federal prison to begin his 12-year sentence for bank fraud and tax evasion. His wife, Julie Chrisley, reported to a different prison to start her seven-year sentence. The couple's new reality is a far cry from their extravagant lifestyle on "Chrisley Knows Best." Federal prosecutors say those luxuries were funded by $30 million in fraudulent bank loans.
Instead of sending them to prison, confiscate their cars, house(s), jewelry etc and make them work at Walmart & live in low income housing. For ppl like them I’m sure that would almost seem like death.
Damn that’s perfect
I love this, maybe he can do a work release.
Who shows up to prison in a Range Rover? That alone tell you all this is a script. He will appeal and win. It’s a drill
THEY'RE GOING TO PRISON JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE, WHOM THEY SUPPOSE TO BE"
Right? They take peoples stuff when they miss one house or car payment so why not take everything they have to sell and pay some damn poor problems loans! I can’t stand people like thhem
I love how people that never been to prison talk about the hardest parts going to be not being able to go outside or eat when he wants. The scariest part is violence from the guards and prisoners. He is in a whole new world
But wouldn't he be going to a low security prison where not much of that happened?
They probably went to a rich blue collar prison
He's going Federal totally different from regular prison.
It's going to federal prison blue collor it's nothing like that in there, and you would probably get out early waÿg Before that sentence, it is making the news. Good behavior is way better. He may only serve less than half the sentencing.
Federal low security it’s a summer camp.
“Lets ask our prison consultant what he’ll expect “😂😂
I swear.. Inside Edition do the most all the time.
😂😂😂
"They'll be in prison, which they've never been to, they'll experience prison, which they've never experienced!"
How about the fact that there is such a thing as a "prison consultant" lol. Rich people will spend money on anything. Reminds me of the Will Ferrell movie "Get Hard"
Somehow there’s always a consultant / specialist 💀😂
Jennifer Myers, platinum blonde prison consultant 💀
Good thing she explained prison to us. Who knew you couldn't go outside when you want😕
🤣🤣🤣

Best comment 😀
Right?! Lol
I dont know who needs to make it happen but there needs to be a 60 Days In where Todd is living. This is reality TV gold.
Facts bro omg please 😂
Id watch. And a lot of people would. They’d eat it up.
Todd’s cellmate gonna love him. Please do a 60 Days in
🎯😁
Todd doesn't need any type of TV show from behind bars because he would quickly become a prison celebrity. The warden would be asking for his autograph, the correctional officers would be asking for his autograph and photos, he would be given special privileges, inmates would be doing special favors for him, etc. Todd needs to serve out his prison sentence just like every other inmate.

Defending yourself against accusations of being gay by saying the other guy is unattractive sounds like an admission. If you really feel the need or occasion to reject such an accusation, just say you’re not sexually attracted to men. Period.
Exactly my first thought 🤣

The first time I heard that guy speak I was like, yep that marriage was arranged lol.

How did these 2 characters rack up $30 million in fraudulent bank loans? If anything, the loan officers, whom processed their loan applications, should be the first to be investigated. Any loan officer, whom doesn't do their due diligence by checking out everything on the application, should no longer be in a position where he/she can make decisions this big.
That girl.who faked being a German heiress did it
I’ve watched their series before. This isn’t shocking tbh. I’ve learned that people who amass critical amounts of wealth in a relatively short time usually have illicit dealings involved.
Look at. The crazy house in Florida people house of Versace. They kept building and expanding a obnoxious house. They get people to add on to a house but never pay them
Well, the few episodes I watched, I could tell no one had a job/career. So, I never understood where the money came from. When Todd talked about real estate. He was too vague. It wasn’t believable to me. 🤷♀️

Imagine all the people with big names doing worse but will never bw held accountable because the power they hold.
There's no need to imagine it. Life has been that way since time began. Why should these two be exempt from it.
@@DavidKen878 nobody is saying they should be exempt from punishment. But their punishment doesn’t fit the crime. There’s murderers who don’t get 12yrs but god forbid you withhold some money from the government and you get over a decade of jail time.

I feel terrible for both of them. Crime or not, law or not, they didn't exactly hurt anyone physically, and they sure as hell didn't rob a bank and held somebody at gunpoint. The more I grow up, the more I realize that getting a 12 YEAR sentence for "Tax evasion" and "bank fraud" is absurd. Punishment for crimes exist for a reason, okay, but it shouldn't be a prison sentence. How about home arrest, or, I don't know, something different? This is going to sound controversial, but I do think that this world needs a better system in general. I just can't imagine spending 12 years behind bars because, well, I didn't give my money to the government. The bank fraud, sure, but I'm sure he would have been able to pay that, or at least a portion of it back to the bank.

I believe the man is being truthful about the relationship with Todd ..
Some say he is being railroaded to prison. But didn't he intentionally lie to get a loan from a bank? Hasn't he also been spending money lavishly so as to impress his viewing audience? I hope he gets whats coming to him.

What about all the people they ripped off? If it is bank fraud then people just think to themselves that it's the bank's loss and not theirs buttttt if you have a mortgage, credit card or anything else with a bank inevitably the loss of money to the bank will come from ordinary Americans who bank with them in regard to increased fees here and there.Banks never lose and if they get frauded by a guy like this they will make up their losses by charging ordinary people more to use their services.
