I wouldn't use it as a strap for any purse that I would be carrying but I would use it on a top as a spaghetti strap.

Yeh great idea! It would only work for a bag with the bulky yarn maybe even two strands. Its an idea for a pattern that can be improved x

I like this, I wonder if this would work with that thick blanket yarn or fur yarn. I'm thinking hairband ties. I'm going to try it.
