7:30 I'm a dealer tech and I'd LOVE having some AR glasses that'd allow me to look at my shop manuals while I'm in or under the car. Having specs or connector pinouts right in front of me while doing diagnostics without having to print out papers to flip through would be amazing.
Zuck is going in the wrong direction; this is how technology should be used, in my opinion.
Just a holographic projection of the connector pins in front of you. Hooooo boy. No dragging your dealer supplied laptop around, or having a print out. Yes please.

When I saw it, I literally said to myself I would 100% switch careers to auto mechanic if I could pull stuff up in AR. Just imagine the look on a customer's face while you're in the corner waving your hand around while working on their car 😆
As awesome as that sounds, I use a notepad, and printouts to keep track of my readings. Nothing beats pen and paper. I used my ipad for a while but it kept getting messed up. I’d rather have a printout so I can see connector face, and follow PIN numbers.
Hyundai does not label their connectors like Audi does.

@@yoslauda4714 She actually does extensive research on cars that are going to be featured in auctions and plans somewhat. Issue was camera person moved on and threw off her talking points. Not so much scripted, but she does plan what is going to talk about. Plus is shown live so no do overs.

Yes, an annual basic safety inspection for cars is a good idea. In the UK we have an MOT, no one likes getting it done but it stops a lot of things seen here from happening.
The problem I have with safety inspections is they get too strict and assume everyone is a moron. I have an 83 f350 stakebed that would absolutely fail any safety inspection. It has a rotted/broken bed support. Its project truck, so i dont haul much if anything. Even with the max payload of 4000lbs I doubt it would break.
The thing with the M.O.T is, with the exception of all the emissions crap, if it isn't dangerous it won't fail and I don't think £60 every 12 months to have a qualified person inspect a vehicles safety is a bad idea.
@@zachdemand4508safety inspections are also for preventitive maintainance. A damaged bed support would probably not be a fail but an advisary, if you hit a pot hole with nothing in the bed you still run the risk of the supports collapsing completely.

Hi there in the UK, it's mandatory to have a safety inspection and mot, which gives it Ticket to prove that it is road Save Has to be done every 12 months. If it fails, you either get it repaired or you scrap the car. Depending on how bad it is.😊😊
OK, so where do you get the Diesel fuel warning thing that the person had in the fuel door? I really need one of those!
It fascinates me that safety inspections are not mandatory in a lot of the US. In the UK a car has to regularly be safety tested, if it fails it is not legally allowed to be driven from the testing centre and has to be immediately repaired or towed away.

I cant even comprehend how that diesel engine is running at 20rpm, the physics behind it. How it builds preassure to create a single? combustion in a single cylinder to turn the engine?
It's a gas engine, which is what makes it much stranger.
Maybe the distributor gives it the spark very short before the engine stops
