I have to admit, the HDMI ports on that GMC gave me a good chuckle.
Honestly the best bumper stickers i have EVER seen
I think they are forklift pockets so they are easier to lift at the junkyard,
Hehe. Agreed. Nothing especially wrong with it either, it is just hilarious.
@@nathanmcbow158 It might not be either a mechanical failure or customer states, but it still falls into the general category I call 'automotive asshattery'.
caveat: That term can simply mean "dumb". In this specific case, it is utilized endearingly. I for one also adore alliteration :D.
I thought it said HEMI at first....
Horn oil and blinker fluid are the two main things people never check until it's too late.
Or muffler bearings.
@@davidtaylor8002Relative bearing grease. A couple lengths of chow line would fix it.
oh thought it was horny oil hahahah
and piston return springs, they snap often in small 4 cinders:/
And drive shalf jelly
Its so painful to watch that guy try to drive a stick, it's embarrassing just watching him 😂😂😂😂
Its not even hard to do. Most of these "car guys" can only drive automatic
Hell most "car guys" cant even back up a car in a tight situation
@evan8388 I miss driving manual, had an old 96 ford probe, badass little 4 banger 5 speed manual. And ya I agree most "car guys" never even touched a manual before.
oh i laughed so hard!
Only in america 😂 how they can pass their driving test if they cant drive every car? Every last monkey in the rest of the world can do It every day
Lost it with the mitsubishi nisan happy birthday song, never thought I'd see something like the japanese ghost scene from scary movie irl.
Wasabi judo sumo samurai!?
I just involuntarily punched the air when the guy found a freebie 10mm socket. Like my team had just scored the winning goal. ..I seriously need to take time off work, soon.
*Leo Getz mode /on*
Ok-ok-ok-ok... So I was checking the wipers and fluid on a works vehicle and I found stashed on the scuttle panel a Snap-On quarter inch drive ratchet... True story!
Actually this is true but the mechanism was pretty much seized solid so I left it to sit it a bag of WD40 for a few weeks, cleaned all the crud off it, flushed it with more WD40 and then let it sit in some veg oil for a few days. I now have a perfectly working Snap-On quarter inch drive 😊
somebody i work with was repurposing a portable workstation on friday and they were laughing at what a magpie i was for going through all the crap that fell out of the gaps. i was laughing when i found a 2.5mm allen key in there.
Ngl bro I literally did the same thing
That 2nd toolbox tip over had to really hurt. That last guy finally won the 10mm hide and seek game. Now if where are the other 2.7 million 10mm spckets that are still in play.
That giant snap on socket wrench probably retails for 30k
They give it to you free when you order one of everything! Then they hit you up for the sockets!
thats just the down payment bro
ok the hdmi thing had me rolling. loved it.
I like the professionally installed fan control switch, i had to drive around with a domestic light switch in passenger leg space for a week while waiting for a replacement thermo switch to be installed.
What do you mean thermo switch? Did the manual one stop working? Cause if it ain't broke don't fix it XD
@@Ferrari255GTO No, it was just annoying doing manually, and constantly having an eye on the temps. :-)
@@timhartherz5652 yeah i know i'm just goofin'
The 10mm and 1/2" ratchet socket has to be by far the most often replaced due to loss.
Remember. No matter where are you drop a socket in an engine compartment, it WILL fall to the physical center of the vehicle.
oh the relief of hearing any tool hit the ground.
Yep. My BF has 2 big ass tool boxes and enough tools to completely tear an engine down to a bare short block and rebuild it, but his 10s and 1/2" ratchets will take either me or him 10 mins to find. It's like they sprout legs and walk away, the bastards
Buddy of mine thought it was a good idea to have a 10mm as a keychain on his keys... Keys were never to be found again.
Or the center of the earth.
@@INSERTNAMExHEREDoes he open all the drawers at once like the one guy did? And wonder why the tool box falls over?
How were gears not grinding like crazy when that thief was trying to drive stick?
He had it in gear.... He knew to press clutch.
@@Glipsnarp Oh so he just never let the clutch out?
@@blurglide he did the car died a few times.... You know how to drive stick? You one of these guys?
@@Glipsnarp Yeah- I've always had at least 1 manual in the stable since I was 16. Didn't get my first automatic until age 35. Currently it's a 2004 Wrangler Rubicon on 35's.
I think its because its a modern manuel. They really baby you so it’s almost impossible to do anything wrong on modern ones. But he still could not figure it out honestly I can’t tell what the hell he was even doing. I guess he didn’t know how clutch work and just bashed gas and jerk the stick
9 years as a technician, how am I only just now finding out about horn oil!!! Blinker fluid and horn oil will be pushed on customers today
4:58 As you can see here, the wild tool box has found a partner and is attempting to mate.
The 10mm and HDMI GMC had me rollin
2:55
Ok which part is going to come flying off?
Oh wow that is the quickest engine removal I've ever seen!
Now I’m not really a mechanically-inclined individual, but it appears at 2:55 that they somehow managed to rip out the entire goddamn engine. Which feels like an accomplishment.
Yep and I have a feeling that they knew exactly what was going to happen.
Forbidden yoink
I knew it was going to be good when they started reving the engine.
Oh man the infamous 10mm.😂
I don't know whats more rare. People actually knowing how to drive stick or 10mm sockets being real
0:45 Preeeeety sure if you checked the air filter it'd probably be a brick of dust. Clean it and try again.
You beat me too it, all rubber molded intake tubes will suck in like that if severely restricted at the airfilter or air box
I came here for this, thanks for beating me to it too.
Squirrel nest
Had a driver complaining of low power one day out of a 60 series Detroit and found it had sucked in a hard plastic tube the same way. Changed the filter and popped the tube back in to shape and never heard another word.
I'm pretty sure that sticker said all you needed to know. Bought a "genuine" Honda part off Ebay and it did the same thing with a brand new filter. Was clued into the quality when the part came flattened in a shipping box with a Honda parts sticker for an interior panel. Guess the $24 part was too good to be true.
I'm glad someone documented the rare act of finding the elusive 10mm. They really do still exist after you do them!😅
I have never heard of horn oil. If I had not seen the packaging, I would have guessed it was something to preserve the horn of an ox or similar animals.
Or an alternative to those Gas Station boner pills. Just rub it on ....
It's a gag gift item, just like you can buy a bottle of blinker fluid or muffler bearings...
@@nunyabidness674 How about the metric crescent wrench. Or the left handed crescent wrench.
I'd like a bottle of 12000Hz horn oil please XD
Its just 5w-30 in a tin can
The HDMI 😂
We were all fascinated on a forum where a guy was carefully making a bracket for a Buick V8. (External pump one) He cuts it all out, drills it, files it and bolts it to the oil pump lid. We follow the whole thread and it’s a tampax holder for the inevitable oil leak.
Just wanna drop a few words of praise for not being clickbait with something THAT weird, and on top not putting it at the end of the video either.
Very much appreciated
The valve cover hood scoop at 08:19 is probably one of the greatest things I've ever seen
Oh boy, the joy of finding a 10mm socket ... :D
I felt that last one. I have three 10 mm sockets at all times. Funny I don't lose them anymore.
The 10mm socket at the end 😂😂😂😂
2:35 A Land Rover in its natural habitat.
Fcuk me, another tired old baseless comment from someone who's never owned or even been a passenger in a Land Rover.
Give it upppp, buddddd.
Funny to think there even has to be term "driving a stick". I've neber had an automatic gear in my car
Horn Oil and the Chevy with the HDMI exhaust ports were good ones.
It's always nice when archeological dig results in some much needed 10 mm
That last clip 😂 i always clean the engine bay if it is THAT dirty
6:00 dude must be a fan of the Scary Movie franchise
Honda Suzuki Yamaha
I can understand someone in 2023 (or 2024) not knowing how to drive a manual transmission, but if you're a car thief... do your homework!
🎵 Mitsubishi Nissan 🎵
That hilux was the most cursed thing I think I have ever laid my eyes upon.😂
The best clip is the Horn Oil. lol
It had to just be a joke, right?.... right!?
It is a joke, not sure where they got that canister but it was just regular every day engine oil.😂
That clip shocked me a bit it doesn't look like she acting
HDMI exhaust had me dying
Fun n giggles!!😅😅😅I love it ❤❤
Oh my god!! Y'all actually found a useful sized socket! 10mm too! You have a better chance of winning the lottery than actually finding a 10mm socket!
😂😂
Fingers crossed!🤞
I liked the GMC truck having HDMI ports exhaust pipe xD
1:30 that one co-worker that just stands there with no quick thinking
5:41 i know the pain of replacing that battery cable assembly; and its $200 to add insult to injury!
The first guy really had me rolling in tears hahahahaha
6:14
“Hey can you pass me the torque wrench?”
*Passes wrench*
“I mean the REAL torque wrench”
4:56 oh noo, this happened to my rear diff output as well, shattered the heat shield with the double washer spinning, maybe its good that one side slings around and warns you that something is wrong rather then losing all the bolts and have the cv fling around, torque those bolt "good-n-tight" and check them occasionally
I laughed so hard because the girl put the horn oil in the engine 😂
That's one of my sockets 😂😂
Loved the bunt Tesla at the end....lol
That Tesla at the end was smokin hot!
Hahaha stealing a car but not knowing how to drive. 🤣
That BMWs oil looks like the one night stand
Hey Paco. No es bueno …. Car no move…. I push gas ….. try to shift ….Has two break pedals and one goes to floor…… ( try driving a 3 on the tree) 😂
The horn oil and the big ratchet made my day.
Watching dude try and steal the manual Camaro and not take the parking break off sent me 😂😂😂😂
Depending on the MY, you might not have to. I have a 6th gen 2ss, and the parking brake automatically disengages when you apply throttle and release the clutch in 1st or reverse.
Probably one of the best cars to learn how to drive a manual with all the hand holding features it has.
@@TheBob102183 that’s actually amazing
last car I had I also found a 10mm when working on it lol, all caked up with grunge just like that haha I swear they just migrate
you got a like for the burnt tesla.hahaahahha
This gives me an idea: put a knife switch inside the glove compartment with a 1920's style label "engine disable" that does actually disable the engine. That'll stop a few car thefts.
"Quality welding." -Some guy who sounds like he's from JOISEY, BAHSTUN, and Canada, eh?, all at once
1:28: Don't drive distracted, and don't be a mechanic distracted!
3:50: Hey, now! This is a family website! xD
5:02: TIMBER!!!
6:14: Big ol' wrench
7:00: Is this for real? D:
9:35: *H D M I P O R T S*
Duuuuuude, when you said "Don't forget to hit the like button", there was an animation on the like button.
Lmao glad I have stick.
9:40 you know you struck gold when you find a 10mm socket in your engine bay
2:46 Im crying xD "Looks like its been punched in de eye"
Wondered where my 10mm went!!!
Horn oil video has got to be satire LMAO
The last thing with the Tesla is typical. 🔥
The found 10mm socket is GOLDEN
8:14
"Master, the Engine, she Overheats!"
"Egor you Fool!
Throw the Switch!
It must be cooled for it to remain ALIVE, ALIVE I TELL YOU!!"
Some of those. Oof. Man. Good collection of clips there.
Glad you enjoyed
i bought a car a while back with aftermarket tires and 3:39 happened to me a few years into driving it. it's not fun when your brakes don't work randomly
Can confirm, i've had a set of Hygia Elite brakes piss themselves because it didn't say what they used, so i just went with mineral oil like most hydraulic brakes. Turns out they ran Dot 4 and one day going down a hill my front caliper pissed all over the place as i lost resistance on the lever. I kept calm but it sure as fuck wasn't funny, if i had happened to be going fast somewhere else i'd probably have killed myself.
This was bound to happen when i installed wider wheels i bought and restored cheaply. That's why you always check clearance, did so on both my springs and brake lines and tied the brakelines to my lower control arms so they could never touch
4:58 Minor injury from final destination 😂
Not many people in my generation know how to drive a manual. Even less people know how to drive a column shift manual 😂. Luckily I know how to drive both
Ditto.
it's probably because the boomers never taught us everything and thought we'd figure it out.
Back pressure is a myth? Not to that Mustang
It's like a turbocharger but lighter, it re-uses the exhaust gases! XD
The joy of finding a 10mil!
2:43 face lift 😂
Camaro guy is the best I guess😂😂
Nah the horn oil killed me
Love the editing on the supposed 10mm socket. We all know that was AI.
LMAO
That kid would of just bought me a new toolbox, i saw that happening after the second drawer was opened
it also happens to filing cabinets with drawers.😉
The guy you don't have to worry about hasn't got a safety cover on either
Netflix: are you still watching?
Someone’s daughter: 3:09
3:48 "mate, pretty sure that head is coming off..."
Gosh daaaaam! person at 3:09 really said engine oil expensive so I'll make my own
He forgot to release the parking brake... 🤣
I don't know what's worse, a thief ruining my drivetrain, or a missing car. Either way it's a really bad day.
7:16 had me hurting.
9:55 HOLY BALLS! HE ACTUALLY FOUND THE HOLY GRAIL!!!!
Somewhere......in the depths of the engine bay of my '98 Ford (Mercury) Cougar V6 lies a 10mm socket that dropped off years ago.......I looked everywhere but never found it.
It was my best 10mm socket 😢😢😢😢
I feel like the tool box falling over is like the bar tipping from loading/unloading weights improperly at the gym. You do it enough it’s eventually gonna happen.
500 honks per ml that's good stuff there 👍
3:07 when you forgot to pull out
First video, he’s like a Neanderthal trying to work a ps4 😂
I need to know how that mustang sounded lmao
The elusive 10mm socket has returned!?!?!??!?!?
6:15 - I thought for sure they were going to get in close and find the guy with the super-ratchet using a 1/4" 10mm with a bunch of reducers on a hose clamp.
1:15 You just can't make that up lol
I cannot stop laughing tha Toyota frog
6:14 Is it a fake giant rachet? By the sound it makes, I don't think that there is a hidden real rachet. 😁
Yo they did Spongebob so dirty
