Round Corners Effect on Video | Premier Pro 2020 - 𝗡𝗼 𝗟𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝗸𝘀

A tutorial on how to create a border radius (rounded edges) effect on Premier Pro without using a layer mask.
You can create this effect by applying the Roughen Edges effect to your desired clips. Apply the following values to Rough Edges:
Edge Sharpness - 10
Fractal Influence - 0
Scale - 1000
Stretch Width or Height - 0
Offset - 0
Complexity - 10
Evolution - 0
Then adjust the Border property to taste.

I created this tutorial as think making a layer mask or using the legacy title tools in Premier is an inefficient way to get this effect. If there is anything you would like to see in Premier Pro, please leave it in the comments!

Use shape layers in after effects. Gives you all the control you need. Or better yet, create your mattes in illustrator or photoshop.

Thank you SO MUCH MAN, you have no idea how much time you just saved me.
Had a lot of rectangle graphics animated for a client video, and now they want rounded edges.
To my horror I discovered there is no easy way to round edges of rectangles made with rectangle tool in Premiere like there is in After Effects.... like wtf, graphics in Premiere is literally a pain in the *ss, ADOBE PLZ FIX!!
