- I am normally a running shoe reviewer but i have become a real sneaker head recently and purchased myself the new Lebron 17 Command Force. Superb shoe on foot, really comfortable for my casual use and recovery after long runs.
I offer up some comparisons and insight into the Air Zoom pods used in both the LeBron 17 and the highly anticipated running shoe the Alphafly next%.
Some really interesting technologies from Nike which cross between basketball performance shoes and distance running.
I also give some history on the Nike Command Force originally released in 1991.
Shoe heads please comment on what you think of this LeBron 17 shoe. The best colourway yet?
Also have you worn the command force original? I only managed to wear the Reebok pump back in the day!

The “knitposite” is a special technique Nike has created. It’s one of the things that help make this shoe so special. They have found a technique using heat to fuse the “foamposite” to the “fly knit”. That’s why at the back the squares feel foam. They have been fused into the knit. They took two things that made their shoes special and combined them.

Well done on the Lebron review. I remember the Admiral wearing the Command Force back in the day and thinking it was like a cast, but I guess when you’re over 7 foot tall and don’t have to cut much, that level of support is not a hindrance.

I will definitely be noticed wearing these to the office when my WFH time is over. I can blame my deviation from acceptable office attire on these weird times when our hair gets to grow and blow free in the wind and the mind is liberated from the shackles of linear thinking.

Great review, have you had a chance to test the traction on these playing indoors? I heard the translucent rubber is better than the solid.

I seen a pair in footlocker the other day and the white knitposite looked more of an off white color and not your plain white so my question is are they white like they look on the video or are they more of an off white
