    Dear Prof. Thank you for your wonderful guidance. zJust a matter of confusion about data-base..In this video you said like google scholar is a database, but in my opinion it is search engine rather than data base because whenever I search any article in it than it directs me to the other database and from that data I get documents if it avilable in pdf free version. Your guidance is really useful for all of us, for that I really express my gratidue. Please keep inspiring us.

    Thank you so much for sharing. But why does no one explain how to write "Related research" in the LR section? It contains 5 articles published in 10 years. How to write it when you cannot find anyone who did the same topic and used the same method or tool to do the study? I am so confusing this problem that my professors never mention it.

    • @karimaassasla9254
      @karimaassasla9254 Рік тому +1

      Surely your topic is done in another study but maybe using a different method and here you can cover studies done on your topic in general or theories about your topic, then you theorize on the method too, and then you say that your study is the only one to deal with this topic using this particular method

    • @karimaassasla9254
      @karimaassasla9254 Рік тому +1

      For instance, I am working on a topic never tackled before in the specific literature im focusing on and im using a new approach also not applied before on the chosen literary texts, in the lit review im going to focus on studies about the selected literary texts: any one who studied the novels and show that they focused on specific theme but me im going to focus on this......theme using this method.......

    • @josperchristian886
      @josperchristian886 Рік тому

      @@karimaassasla9254 Thank you so much for telling me this. Yes. You are right. I submitted my paper to a journal for publication. The editor asked me to rewrite it (related research (at least cite 20 articles on the same approach/ my topic is focusing on the Corpus-based approach)). The editor accepted the rewritten related research. My paper is going publication this June.

    • @josperchristian886
      @josperchristian886 Рік тому +1

      @@karimaassasla9254 Actually,I used two methods in my research paper to foucing on a topic (reading). This is why I don‘t know how to write the related research of LR. Even my main advisor and professors didn‘t know how to guide me on this point but I got guide from a British editor eventually.
