Olphactory is a MUST HAVE. The throw is strong and the scents are luxurious and elegant. I came across this company on another vid and the three scents blew me away. It’s on par with Harlem Candle Co. It’s also a black owned company. But in my opinion, they have the best masculine scent on the market. That candle was Zulu Embers.

I need to pickup a few of their core scents. I enjoy their cinnamon cider but I feel its more of seasonal scent.

I enjoy scented candles, but I would rather spend my money on nice perfumes. I cannot see myself spending $50, $75, $100 or more on a candle. Perfumes are another matter, though. 😄

They have some really great scents! Loving Arabian Nights at the moment.

I cant wait to try some of these, i have tried harlem candle, pf candle co, votivo and apotheke. I am looking for strong and clean throws, more so than other qualities. PF for me was lacking in this area though I liked the fragrances. 228 Grantstreet will be my first stop then LAFCO.
Watching and rewatching your segments makes me wonder if you are going to have a “Detailed Dream” collab with a luxury fragrance brand? Can’t wait for that notification. Enjoying my Teakwood and Tobacco, also with my new Enoki Cedar (yes!!) I didn’t experience the Bergamot Shiso yet from this collection. Your thoughts?

I've purchased boy smells before because I LOVE the scent LES..but the candles tunneled and I had to return them I don't know if it was a bad batch or what..they have some unique scents.
Nah. It wasn't a bad batch. Everything I have ever bought from Boy Smells has had tunneling issues. I also enjoy Les and Polyamberous, but the tunneling!!!!

Thank you ! I see Skandinavisk is a wax blend. Do you know if they use paraffin? Molton Brown sure got low ratings on Amazon but I would like to try one. Lafco has never done a thing for me (and I've tried 3 or 4 ) but I wonder if I got candles that were on the shelf too long?
A lot of the luxury brands do. A strong cold and hot throw is a clear indication of this but you can also tell by the way the candle behaves when lit. I know that Trudon definitely do as I've tested them.
Love the reviews! My big problem is high ceilings, which of these, or any other that will give a strong enough throw to not fill up the room, but at least be noticed? I think my favorite type of scents coincide with yours. Thanks!
I have high ceilings as well. Of the ones he mentioned here that I have tried the Harlem candle co and 228 grand street do a great job.

I'm was mega disappointed by Harlem Candles. I bought Speakeasy and the throw is weeeeak. It's made of paraffin wax too.
I dont think Harlem is a parafin wax as this channel doesnt recommend them. But I too bought speakeasy and didnt like the fragrance of chocolate so I didnt want it to be string. But I will say they have other very strong candles, like Langstan, Love and Renaissance which I have tried. Still looking for one I really like.
Thomas Ferrier? Any reviews. Their vessels are art. Have not seen a candle maker do the same with vessels, they all look like jars.
Ok I have a question. I bought the Speakeasy, After Dark, and Langston candles from Harlem and Co. The Speakeasy and After Dark are amazing! But the Langston has no scent and the wax never hardens (it has the consistency of cisco) also the box is different from the other two. Is it supposed to be like this or should I get a refund and reorder? Thank you!
Can you review Ellis Brooklyn? I have been wanting to try them bc they’ve been on sale and on Amazon they’re $65, I can’t find any vids on YT for these candles only EB perfume reviews.
I found all main EllisBrooklyn candles as 20$ now they’re $30 but worth $65 and on Amazon people seem to give real reviews and they have high reviews

i can't wait to see my boy smells and harlem candels.
I don't like P.F.Candles. The scents sound great, but they have a very poor hot throw that they dress up as subtle. No, you just can't smell them when burning. I like Skandi's Jul v nice Christmas scent. Never tried Molton Brown but sniffed cold. They're ok but they're really more of a bath, body type brand.
