My brand new m3cx with frozen black paint was rear-ended at 750 miles (still in the break-in period). I ended up trading it for my dream spec M2CS. I hardly drive it on the streets because I’m worried about all the terrible and careless drivers. Best of luck with the rebuild!
If it was indeed a low-speed side-swipe, then I bet your suspension is not damaged. The control arms are usually made of really strong and bulky aluminium material that unless you hit a pavement really hard or experienced impact at high speed, should be fine. Get an alignment first before changing any parts - worse case you just need to replace the toe links.

I usually watch your videos while I'm waiting in the car for my parents to come out. I turn the volume up and it sounds like I'm in the car with you. It's better than my professional Sennheiser headphones. My dad woke me up this morning and said my mother had to go to the hospital. I didn't get much sleep. I didn't know what was happening. I just knew she was panicking everywhere. She walks in the neighborhood every morning. I don't walk around that neighborhood. Let me just say it has a deep "Southern" past. It's growing though. Too many people are moving here and they had to stop selling houses for now. It's a two lsne road with Los Angeles traffic. She said she looked back at a house and tripped on a curb. She hit her hand and head on the ground. When she got back, her hand was bleeding bad. She didn't know if she wanted to go to the hospital or urgent care. I got my clothes on and took her to urgent care. I should have gone to the hospital first. I fell asleep in the car while I waited at urgent care. She called on the phone and they said she has to be transported to a hospital because she needs surgery and they couldn't stop the bleeding. It would have become worse because of her medical history. Now I'm waiting at the hospital, watching youtube videos and looking up jobs. I didn't eat anything this morning. She is supposed to drive me back after my surgery on November 12. Hopefully she is healed by then. I'll send my new presentation video later. I can't do much right now. I can't wait to see the new mods on the car someday.

You can't predict other people actions, especially when you give them so little time to react or notice you. I like watching this channel, but to be honest it's sad that "having fun" in public with such an amazing car means risking lives of others and himself. People are fragile, spirited driving among others is not worth the risk.
Crazy, someone crashed my 230i early August, just got my car back yesterday. Hit the rear bumper but ended up being 15k+ in damage and of course their insurance fought it bought she was found 100% at fault

Unfortunately, the GoPro battery died during the best part of my presentation. It was the part where I talked about networking and building a community. I talked about how I got the new animation professor hired at UTD, and how one of my former classmates now works at Disney, and he thanked me on a zoom meeting for telling him to apply to Nickelodeon. Next time, I won't record a long presentation in 4K at 30fps. It's too much.
