Toothpaste can actually clear scratches I've heard, not massive ones but small ones in something like a plastic protector or in the glass of the phone can be sealed using toothpaste cause it acts like glue and bridges the scratches together.
Fun fact: the first life hack actually works and it did not work for you because it was cracks, not scratches. it works with glasses and watches. I tried to use it and it works.

I started getting it because it seemed to be the only SLS Free Toothpaste I could find that would meet almost all of my toothpaste needs (I have an SLS sensitivity when it comes to toothpaste and mouthwash). It's SLS Free, has fluoride, anti-sensitivity, gum health, whitening, and bonus; they are also gluten free and cruelty free.
