    Tyler don't listen to the social media comments. You are the most reliable WR on the hawks. In my eyes, they don't use you enough.

      It’s okay to say he’s the most reliable guy and they don’t use him enough but also say he should take a hit every one in a while. At this point what’s stopping us from cutting him at the season and getting someone cheaper than 10 million who will catch the same passes plus get some yards with their legs?

No arrests, no drugs, and no crazy women! He's such a gentleman and a scholar! He's just a great man so the way around. And Richard just preached some really wise words! No matter how you slice it a player not taking a hit when he gets paid 16 million a year to play a contact sport is not good. If every wide out on the team did that we’d lose every game so why is it okay that he gets to do it?

    • @DirtRabbit
      @DirtRabbit 6 днів тому

      @@guruj8827 I have no problems with a veteran player prioritizing lasting health over a couple yards when they already have the first down. Especially because he has made a career of putting his body on the line to make a play! I have so many memories of him catching a highly contested ball and getting completely lit up for it.
      The man is staring at the finish line. Really can’t blame him for wanting to preserve his health until he crosses it. This is likely his last season. Nah, I’m good with it. I would much rather see him take dives than get a severe head injury in his final season that he carries with him for the rest of his life. He ain’t a young guy no more.
      I suppose I’m someone that can’t ever put a price on someone else’s health. No amount of money is acceptable compensation when weighed against someone’s health.

    • @guruj8827
      @guruj8827 6 днів тому

      @@DirtRabbit I understand the compassion for Lockett I have his jersey and don’t want him injured either but cmon dude the guy goes down every single time for two years. I’m hoping it’s his last season because I don’t want him in another jersey but I don’t think it benefits the team if a guy is making business decisions every play. As much as I love him, I love the Seattle Seahawks more, and the Seattle Seahawks need guys who are willing to get every yard they can, if dk and jsn started doing that we’d be fucked and it would be flag football

    • @DirtRabbit
      @DirtRabbit 6 днів тому

      @@guruj8827 oh he definitely won’t ever be in another jersey. He wanted to retire after 8, decided to play the 9th, was unhappy with how that season ended and wanted to stick around for the transition. I’d be willing to put money that he retires after this season.
      If this was something g he’s done his entire career then ya, I would be frustrated. But come on man, he was the smallest guy on the field, taking the biggest hits, to make the most critical catches for us for most of his career.
      Was it a mistake to play this season since he is obviously concerned about his health? Probably, ya. But he’s still one of the best options we have. We would be worse this year if he had retired. A couple yards here or there to avoid injury isn’t causing us to lose games this year. We have bigger issues.

    • @DirtRabbit
      @DirtRabbit 6 днів тому

      @@guruj8827 Let me ask you. We make it to the Super Bowl and we are 4th and long. We are down by 6 and driving for the touchdown at the end of the game. Tyler Lockett catches it with 4 yards and two defenders between him and the first down. Do you think he takes a dive or do you think he fights with everything he has to get that first down? You know he puts it all on the field in that moment. It’s all about understanding the situation and the risk/reward.

    Do YOU KNOW what the KEY to Vince Lombardi's success? He wasn't just the Head Coach he was also the General Manager! Same with Bill Belichick, Bill Parcell

    Largent #1 Doug and Lock tied at #2 for me. Didn't get to watch Largent but his stats are insane for playing when he did.

      Ah, too bad man. I grew up with Zorn to Largent met them both when I was 11 in 1980. When you're a kid and you get to meet your heroes and they treat you like you're their hero??? Seahawks for life man! The Seahawks have always fielded a team full of really good guys that you just can't not like! That list is long!
