I would like to see a Movie with them both together, playing Brothers, in a Thriller or Cop Movie, 20 - 30 Years earlier, but it's still not too late... 🥴
Tombstone, Escape From New York, Overboard and Big Trouble In Little China are amongst my all time favorite movies. I think Kurt would be someone worth having as a friend, he's genuinely likeable 👍👍
Kurt Russell is in one word, Awesome. A friend was getting married a few years ago in NY, I'm in the event industry and reached out to his agent and received his direct contact information. So I wrote to him and asked if he and Goldie could come to the Wedding in NY. Unfortunately he was working on a project in California, so he declined. However he wrote me back and sent an amazing letter to the Bride and Groom, thanking for the invite and wishing a life time of happiness to the couple. They displayed the letter on their love table on their wedding day. What a cool thing to do and Kurt took the time to write this letter to the happy couple. Escape from NY and Overboard are my 2 favorites of Mr. Russell. He's a great actor, and an overall down to earth human being.
@@BreadandButter333 Whats pathetic of what the couple did? The groom lost his father at a young age and always looked up to Kurt as a positive roll model. He was proud of the letter Kurt wrote. What's up with you?
I always think of him and Disney first. Then of course his dad. Good guy straight enough and flies right. Good parenting and discipline. Adore him always!
Yea back in the day when you saw cartoons and a couple movies in the theater.Walt Disney wrote his name down maybe he knew he had a great future in front of him,i remember Flubber,I sure hope we have a Christmas Chronicles Rodolphs Red Nose.
I always liked Kurt, and his movies. I also enjoyed the fact that despite all his time in Hollywood, he never set in with those people. All in all, id like to have a beer with him someday.
Watched him since we (he and I) were kids. He's a 14 months older than me so I'm life long fan. Like all his stuff but Captain Ron and Overboard crack me up even though I've watched them many times. Tombstone and Used Cars are waaay up there too. Class act and a gun guy, can't be wrong.
I just appreciate everything I’ve ever seen him in, that includes his very early years, we are the same age. It’s pretty awesome to watch someone grow in their craft and see that in every thing he appeared in he gave it 100%. It’s says a lot about his soul too when he wanted to make sure the crew got hot meals instead of MREs.
The Thing, Stargate, & Escape From New York.. yes of course his episode of Gilligans Island. He’s actually good in everything he stars in. An excellent role model.😊😊😊
14:34, where he did the Stargate movie. Richard Dean Anderson who play Jack on the show heard that Russell Kurt was at the studio when he played Elvis. Richard invited him on the Stargate set in 91
Kurt Ressel is an okay person, polite in every way, in my younger years with the chef at the time we got to cook dinner for his wife and children. When his kids where going to school in BC Canada. It was Greek food that they came to eat.
Kurt is my favorite actor. He is such a great actor!!!! He was great in, Tango and Cash, Overboard, Elvis, Escape from New York, Tombstone.... He is fine as wine!!!!!!!! 👍👍👍... ❤️❤️❤️...
I was born in 1956, so you could say I grew up watching Kurt Russel. He has always been one of my favorite actors. As an adult, I admire the way he has run his personal life. He and Goldie Hawn have shown that relationships can be done if you keep your private life private.
A man we can trust in to be an American with some love of the craft, decency and character defining his measure in life. A Disney pawn, TV character roles and small turning BIG parts .... he is a damn fine actor ! Was a quality athlete as a youth. GBjj
I love his movies especially Tombstone with Val Kilmer, I watched it over a 100 times and his second best movie is Overboard with Goldie. Kurt is still good looking in his 70s.
Recently rewatched The Mean Season, and he’s quite good in it. Tombstone, Silkwood also. He has been in SO MANY movies but never got the Oscar nod, though Goldie did. But I guess being fabulously rich in family and money is the best revenge.
I have loved Kurt Russell for as long as I can remember. The first movie I ever watched with him was The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes. I absolutely loved him and Goldie in Overboard. I've pretty much enjoyed all of his movies. Big Trouble is Little China and Tango and Cash were awesome. Captain Ron, Back Draft, and so many others were all so good. I could never pick an absolute favorite...LOL Both Kurt and Goldie are such awesome individuals
All of them. I have been a fan since I was a child and he was too. He has five years on me, but my mother managed the snack bar at a drive in theater, so I was at the movies every weekend night and every night during any school break. I saw all his movies, multiple times. He is my favorite actor. I respect his humility.
Kurt deserves all honors. Ihave watched him all my lives and he stays out of all the bullshit polatics and does the jobs hes paid to do and lives his blessed life. He someone all actors should see as role model to all actors
The first time i saw Kurt Russell was when he was a guest on the Mickey Mouse Club and i fell in love immediately. Been following him ever since. Lucky Goldie.
I like ALL of his movies. He's one of my favorite people. No, not favorite actor, favorite PEOPLE ! He's a class act. And, as for Goldie. I believe it's a mortal sin to not love Goldie.
I'll be 61 in 2024, and I've had a crush on Kurt Russell since the Disney years. He's an amazing actor, and I love that he found Goldie! God Bless them!❤
I like the fact that he won't put up with crap. He doesn't talk politics in interviews. I've seen him get up and leave an interview after he warns them once and they persist.
I met Kurt Russell at the Puyallup fair before he was famous from disney. My friend started following him around, I was too embarrassed to bother someone sorta famous. He was so young. He made a comment to my friend and we went our own way. I won’t tell what he said but I didn’t blame him. It was fun over the years to see him get really famous and then get together with Goldie Hawn one of my favorite actress. I’m very happy for them both.
You met Kirk ? THAT James T. Kirk ?!? 🤣 Don't worry, just kidding, but it's Fun, how often his Name is spelt wrong... CURT RUSELL, RUSSEL... it's just KURT R-U-S-S-E-L-L 😉, anyway, Greets from Germany
those early days are the most memorable for me. not many people associate him with 'Escape from New York' but use the name 'Snake Pliskin' and eyebrows rise. the movie was cheesy but the Snake character was Pure Gold.
Kurt is in my top 3 actors list. Very few movies he was in are bad. I'm partial to Tombstone, Escape From New York, and Big Trouble in Little China. Roles in the Tarantino movies are noteworthy too.
I first saw Kurt in "The Computer that wore Tennis Shoes". I have looked for his next movie ever since. I was a little surprised to see him play Santa Clause in his las movies but as usual - he was great at that role. I was always surprised he and Goldie never married but hey - whatever works for them !!!
~~Used Cars came out&easily one of the most hilarious movies in awhile at the time. Buddy&I would recite bits from their High Prices commercial. ~~On a bigger note; I remember seeing him in repeats Disney played. A bit of a movie fanatic myself growing up. Starting w/Clint followed by Jeff Bridges ,Peter Fonda&Jack Nicholson proved to be my favorites by time I was 6. Not long after Kurt would too&had such an impact as Elvis. Out of them all I've seen Big Trouble the most just edging out Used Cars.
Great video, I met Mr. Russel in the late 80"s when Goldie was filming a moving in Key west... He was pre flighting his Cessna 310 on the ramp at Key West airport (EYW).. I was an airtraffic controller and the only manager (FLM) at the time... Walk out to the ramp and intro myself and told him if he needed anything ATC related let me know.. Nice guy, spoke for a couple minutes, then I left him alone...
I've enjoyed a lot of his work. For me, the Miracle movie has the most impact. Mostly because even though I was 13 when the 1980 Winter Olympics happened, I have a closer connection to the real event, and the movie really hit it right. That's not me talking, that's the people who were there in 1980 talking. No, I'm not discussing who/what I know.
OVERBOARD : staring Kurt & Goldie.
Love this film 💞🌹
One of my favorite's
TOMBSTONE is my favorite Kurt Russell movie and is, in my opinion, the best depiction of Wyatt Earp.
He's one of those actors that just make it look easy
I've always admired Kurt Russell, he's a good actor sort of natural, and also his long life partner Goldy she's also a brilliant actress, 🎉❤
It seems Kurt has been around for ever. I like it that he is not in scandals and such.
Along with Jeff Bridges, Kurt Russell is one of my favorite actors. They both grew up in acting, entertainment families.
I agree love me some Jeff Bridges too.
Many people mistake them and may think that both of them are the same actor/person.😆
I would like to see a Movie with them both together, playing Brothers, in a Thriller or Cop Movie, 20 - 30 Years earlier, but it's still not too late... 🥴
Jeff Bridges is a Coast Guard veteran too. The guys that don't make it an issue have my respect.
Kurt Always Gives His Best Performance in Every Movie He Makes !!!
I loved all his movies, specially with Goldie Hawn s overboard. Truly entertaining and hilarious😅😅😅😅
Tombstone, Escape From New York, Overboard and Big Trouble In Little China are amongst my all time favorite movies. I think Kurt would be someone worth having as a friend, he's genuinely likeable 👍👍
Actually it was a mistake to list his best movies without Back Draft and Captain Ron and many more, he's just really talented.
Capt Ron was definitely one of his best!
His and Val Kilmer's scenes from Tombstone are iconic.
Always loved him great and humble actor
