I can't express how much I love this animation. My favorite details are the amazing transitions (human silhouette to a whale one on that sign, smoking chimneys to lit cigars that the hogs are celebrating with, the ink from the polar bear's pen turning into the polluted, rising ocean, among others) and the thoughtful touches, like the fact that the orangutan that's demolishing human families has a picture of his own family in the cabin, bear having human slippers, the child expressing interest in the issue whilw the adults do not...man, this is an immensely rewatchable masterpiece, as well as the music being an absolute banger.

I’m interested to see where you are coming from, but what would be billionaire’s and the government’s reason to lie about climate change. Just makes them out to be assholes when they primarily profit off of it. From a quick google search because I didn’t recognize what it meant, psy-ops is specifically referring to military tactics and wouldn’t be applied here for really any scenario. I am very critical(atheist, anti-circumcision, don’t trust most news without given & checked source, and even then I still draw my own conclusions), but there’s a difference between that and believing impractical things. I enjoyed this animation so much. As an person who really cares about ecology and Earth this made my heart think we have a lot to do before making world a better place to live. Reverse between humans and animals is so brilliant and really shows the message about how big part of us treats our planet.

I think a better solution is to stop spending MILLIONS of dollars on producing movies that no one wants to see. Who are we saving the environment for? All living beings, it affects us too. We are starting to breathe polluted air, and the fish are starting to swim in polluted, chemical filled oceans. We need to save the Earth because we live _on the Earth._

2:40: juxtaposing overweight, gluttonous rich “pigs” with starving humans, showing the unnecessary imbalance in food consumption.
3:15: children learning about humans in an artificial, curated setting which doesn’t show the humans suffering or story of how the animals were the ones that drove them extinct in the first place.
3:21: and here we are, continuing to live our normal lives, after we finish watching the video.

Individuals have essentially 0 power to change anything. Even if everyone on earth stopped using their cars and became a vegan today, the world/ society is too fucked for it to make a significant difference.
@@RubsNL Maybe we can't prevent the complete destruction of Earth. But perhaps we can delay it enough to create some alternative method or discover some other place of surviving. Not doing anything is a far worse choice.

But to get every single individual on earth onboard isn't a feasible thing in the first place, and even reform in legislation isn't going to cut it at this point. The best thing any individual can do now, is organise locally and build momentum for general strikes and eventual revolution.

@@akashchoudhary8162 that's the eternal choice between the progress we should make to make humanity's conditions better (because technology might fuck the planet up but at least we don't need to make 8 babies to be sure that 3 of them will survive), or to maintain the current ecosystems.
None of those two is the bad one, and none is the good.
If we focus on progress we might discover enough to flee this world, or just to figure out a way to optimise the planet in its totality for us. Or we might just die before.
If we focus on the other lifeforms we will surely make Earth healthirr for everyone else. But our life style will drasticly change and many may die due to the lack of food, we will possibly not be able to maintain our current technologic level and fall back in less advanced times.
