Start doing strap searches and you'll find ones like that more often than you think especially with the serial numbers. I don't keep them anymore unless it's obvious. I have a few, all one-dollar bills. I also have a few notes that have what looks like a drop of ink on it. Those are all green ink same as the serial number & seal. I do not have any of the really dramatic ones. Just be careful when looking on eBay at error notes. There are a lot of unscrupulous people out there. Do your homework first as I'm sure you will.

Yeah copy all brother. I think the break in translation is the title. I'm seeing now that it is a little misleading.
Over Inking is a more appropriate title in retrospect. 😊😅😊. These notes were a bundle package, and also purchased in my earlier days. It's crazy that I'm justifying my numismatic purchases 😢😮😅.
This episode also serves as the severity of "Ink Smears/ Over Inking". I have noticed notes like this (slight over inking) via scrap searches and bypassed them. Just another niche lane that you will find within the hobby. Just sharing my experience with the Legal Tender family 😊😊😊.
Alright brother. I will speak with you soon...

@@legaltender1980 The title was fine. And you do not have to justify your purchases with anyone but yourself. You were also very clear in the description that they were minor defects, and you did show comparisons to what a major defect looks like. And I appreciate you sharing your collection. Have a good day.

@anthonypuccio9575 yeah. I thought the description and content was pretty forthcoming. The justification part was due to another comment.
Continue to have a great day brother and I will speak with you soon...

Really hoping that you didn't spend more than $6 for those notes. Those can technically be called ink smears, but only the Really dramatic ones are truly sought after. I have one like yours in my collection from circulation, but have spent several more as regular dollars. Not saying that those aren't cool, I collect some notes that are not the standard too, just because I like them. Some others might just describe those as overinking. Just my thoughts, I absolutely do not consider myself expert when it comes to error notes, but as a cashier, I do see a lot of notes that the BEP have deemed acceptable enough for circulation.

Why is $6 the acceptable amount to have been spent???🤔🤔🤔
Regardless of the amount I spent. I felt it was worth spending.
The last few comments on this fun educational channel has been a bit off putting. Although I welcome all comments (hopefully positive). Cost paid for notes, or numismatic pieces will never be discussed from me, or distasteful jokes regarding sexual orientation, race, enthinicity, or religion.

I just mentioned an arbitrary price, as I see many notes like that in circulation. I am one who really wants no one to be taken by people online. Really didn't mean it in a negative manner, but of genuine concern.

@collectingonthecheap56353 thank you for your concern. I really appreciate it. I'm well aware of scammers and dubious people in the world. Once you factor in currency to the equation, that can make a sensitive situation, volatile.
