Six of these books (counting the 1st. appearance twice) can be found in the Punisher Back to War Omnibus. For those that desire reader copies. Great video Carlos!
ASM 129 is my favorite !! I own a copy at a CGC 7.0. Yeah it seems that issue is starting to become more affordable. It seems like the price is starting to dip. And that's why i took advantage. Punisher #1 limited series is a badass cover. I got 2 raw copies. I'm gonna get both of them pressed and have it CGC'd. Awesome video !!
I bought my CGC 6.0 about five years ago. Glad I bought it then! I sent my #1 limited series in and revealed it on Monday Hauls 64 a couple of months ago.
@@amazingspider-flint4528 Once upon a time ASM 129 was affordable like 2 decades ago. I believe a VF condition in raw was going for around $200. I was hesistant to whether i should pull the trigger at the time. I regret for not doing it. But I guess it's better late then never. Hopefully when I eventually send Punisher #1 limited series to CGC i'll get at least a 9.6.
Thanks for the help. I haven’t started a collection yet, just have done some digital reading a sparked interest. Trying to decide on what type of collector I’m going to be.
That’s awesome! Welcome to the community, Ross. We’ve all been there and it’s always an adventure. Couple of quick helps… 1. Check out the Comic Collecting for Beginners playlist that’s on the home page for the channel. Lots of stuff I picked up, I decided to share to help new collectors. 2. Feel free to hang out with us on one of the two livestreams on the channel: Monday Hauls Live (10 PM Central) and/or The Giveaway Show (Wednesdays at 10 PM Central). We’d love to see you there!
Great list! All of them, except for ASM 129, are very affordable. I have the ASM 129 reprint from Lionsgate when the Punisher movie with Tom Jane came out. Got it for free from the theater. That was cool. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching and commenting! And yes, I always try to have something in there for every budget level. That Lionsgate reprint has become very desireable!
Excellent list. I think Marvel Tales is a bigger book than you think though. The way regular facsimiles are being treated nowadays, that book is the 1st true reprint with a different take on the cover.
Thanks! And yes, I will fully agree that prior to the research for this video, I wasn’t really valuing Marvel Tales as highly as I should’ve. And I should’ve held onto the copy I had! 🤣🤣
Yes, someone else also mentioned it also… I think it’s a great book for the collection, I just didn’t end up including it for this video. To be honest, I’m not even sure why, I just remember there being a lot of good Punisher books I cut from the list for various reasons.
Great video,I just got AMS#129 CGC 5.0 and now I just gotta get the rest of my grail books TMNT#1, X-Men#1 1963,Hulk#181,Cerebus#1 to complete my comic collection cause Amazing Fantasy#15 and Batman#1 will be almost impossible to get but I am going to save up for the rest of this year and try and get TMNT#1.
Ahhhhh! Yeah, I can see why! That’s a great book. They’ve gone up so much in price that I haven’t even tried for the set since I started picking up Punisher books.
I have the whole collection. What shocked me is that they didn't make up what's in them. The equipment really exists such as the batons that double as a knife launcher. My favorite is the ICAD, which is a portable alarm that warms him of the presence of tear gas or other deadly gases
I also prefer Chuck Dixon, Mike Baron, Stephen Grant, and Carl Potts over Ennis. (Although there are some great Ennis Punisher comics I do love). But yes, there was some great characterization pre-Ennis that has been criminally underrated.
@@mack8940 Punisher V2 (his ongoing) and Punisher War Journal V1 are two runs I’m currently building… like you, I’m a fan of the stories and the artwork.

Wow! That’s a great book at a great grade! And yes, the limited series #1 is also an excellent book to have.
@@CarlosCollectsComics I actually won ASM 129 on an auction on ebay. I regret not owning this almost 2 decades ago but better late than never !!

That’s awesome! So glad this video is a help… YOU are exactly who I envisioned these Top 10 videos being for!
There are so many great Punisher stories, hopefully the series adapt to some of the stories
Yes, I’m hoping that so many more of his comic storylines get adapted
Marvel Preview #2 is often overlooked 1st origin of The Punisher ( magazine size)
Good call on that one! Another fun book to add to the collection.
The Punisher will always be my fave comic. Circle of Blood is my fave.
Thanks for watching! And yes, he’s one of my favorite as well.
Great list, I love my ASM 129 I got it signed by Conway last year. Bought it before it took off too much
Nice! That’s an excellent signature to have with that book!
In CGC 9.8's I have Daredevil 183, Punisher Annual 2, Punisher War Journal 7, Punisher 4, and Punisher 1.

Punisher Batman!!!! cmon now!!!
🤣👏🏼🙌🏼 I know, I know! But I only had 10 spots and I felt like these were the best!
@@CarlosCollectsComics nice ones anyways, i just got Armory issue 1 a couple days ago
@@thebandboy I’m telling you, the Armory series is so so underrated but it’s such a fun read.
That splash page of Frank punching the Bat.....
I had the first issue of the limited series as a kid, dont know what happened to it. Pretty salty about it.

The first three issues of Punisher Armory are excellent. The other issues were alright. Defiantly a cool behind the scenes comic.

punisher was realistic. his weapons were the best of any comic book. art was top tier. stories wer top tier also had like 50 of them as a kid
