Thank you for the tutorial, much appreciated. I got an email from Mint today (12/23/24) that my camera has shipped. In anticipation of receiving it, I found technical specifications on Reddit for 3D printing a “snap-on” lens adapter for the Rollei 35AF to utilize 43mm filters, which I’ll have printed locally. (The designer of the 3D technical specifications also sells his finished lens adapter on eBay UK, but unfortunately won’t ship to the United States) I emailed Augustus at Mint regarding a Mint manufactured filter adapter and he said Mint has no current plans to manufacture or sell an adapter and that my best bet was to rely on a third party for a manufactured or 3D printed adapter ✅
Thank you so much … I just got my 3rd one … both ahead one also spoiled 😑 the shutter didn’t stay down after pressed, I always worry did I do anything wrong😅 thanks for making this video, let me and my hubby follow it step by step together....
Thanks for the video! I have a question. In automatic mode, how fast does the flash fire? If the light conditions are very low, will the automatic mode stop at 1/30 or 1/60 with the flash (example)?
Thanks! I wonder when I’ll get mine - ordered as soon as I got the notification email that preorders were open, but still haven’t gotten any notification.
Thank you for the video! Have you experienced the shutter button not staying down after firing a shot, thus leading to the film advance getting stuck? It then has to be overcome only by firing the shutter again until it can stay down (thus leading to multiple exposures and also the film counter does advance even if the film advance can't be moved).
Great video, thank you for putting together. I just received my copy. I noticed with rewinding there is a lot of tension (I did release the lever). Is this the same for you?
@@daviscarter8967 hmm. We dun really have any issue with Kodak commercial films. Though, for us, other films like with remjet or plastic canisters sometimes do affect the tightness when winding.
The Shutter button is a big problem for me. As the manual shows after pressing the shutter button fully down, then the film advance lever just working, but the shutter button always bounces up after the shot, so if like that how can the film advance lever? 2nd problem is the power button.. is pretty easily turned on without notice. I paid more than a thousand for this camera but in the end the results were not so amazing for me.

That's interesting, let us know how the 3D printed adapter worked out!
Probably the most comprehensive guide to use the Rollei 35 AF camera.
thanks!

yep. it seems to be caused by not fully winding the film (00:59).

Gibt es einen Aufnahmezähler?
film counter? yes, it's the oled screen.
