- Decorate my whole house with me today on a thrifty budget styling my thrift flips and adding some vintage inspired DIY. My goal was to elevate and make fresh my holiday decor without buying much new. I wanted to achieve a classic, nostalgic, whimsical, cozy look this year and I believe I was able to get just that! I pray this video may bless you in your season.

Everything turned out so cute! I love all the sweet touches and especially loved the words you shared at the beginning of the video. If everyone would rejected what Christmas was truly all about it might simplify things. And if we don't teach our children the real meaning, the world sure won't! The one tradition i started with my older who is now almost 38 and also with my youngest who is now 24.. when they woke on Christmas morning we would sit in their bed and sing happy birthday to Jesus before gong into the living room. My daughter now does it with her children and my son now has his first baby this Christmas and i hope he'll do the same. New to your channel, but truly enjoyed!

I have the same little brass Christmas tree, that’s what I use as my advent candle , but I can’t find small purple candles, so I use white ones and put a small purple ribbon on three of the candle holders and a pink one on the other, I love it .

I’ve changed my Christmas changed to more organic natural decor. I’ve. Even wanting to try the cranberry garland. Since Christmas is Monday I’ll try it next year with dried oranges. Merry Christmas 🎄

I've been looking for velvet ribbon to decorate with. Hopefully I'll find what I'm looking for. Are you a Virgo? I am and definitely like everything perfect and it's so hard to be a perfectionist all the time. It never happens in real life. I struggle with that.
Check out hobby lobby! They have some good options. I showed them in my last video ☺️ as I’ve become a mama I’ve realized the perfectionism only impedes getting anything done or even starting anything. But it’s a journey! ❤️

I love how everything turned out. Your home is so cozy and inviting. I also love what you said at the beginning of the video. I’m in a different season than you. Our boys are grown and my husband and I became grandparents for the first time last year. I think there is so much pressure on moms now a days for everything to be perfect. What a delightful video of you and your decorating inspiration. After so many years of decorating for Christmas time… I have found that each year I know I just want it to be simple and to just be welcome for friends and family. So very tired of the videos that are so picture perfect.
Life as we know has many ups and downs. The holiday’s are no exception. So I find that I am just trying to take it day by day and just enjoy the moment. Best to you and yours this Holiday Season.

We use to make the oranges with cloves as kids and yes it hurts. I think my mom sprinkled them with cinnamon also. They do smell wonderful I loved your mini nativity sets and that’s a great idea to wait to add baby Jesus. I enjoy changing some of my Christmas decor around each year too.
Oh the cinnamon would be fun! And maybe help preserve them a bit. Although they are still going strong a week later 💕
