Unfortunately Autism is misdiagnosed a lot. However he has excelled a lot! Kids with autism are very smart . He is incredibly smart! I work with preschoolers on the spectrum and they are doing the exact same thing Jayden is doing. I love how the services are working out great for him!
It was cute in the beginning Ebony was like “who’s that is that mama” and they are both like “daddi! Daddi! “ either way it’s just so cute because they love Denise either way 💓💓🌸🌸 so special
I have autism and I know the struggle of doing a lot of things. One of the biggest challenges for me is being able to communicate my emotions and thoughts. I couldn't fully do this until almost high school. It takes a strong woman to be a mother to someone with autism and for your son to have 2 mom's only makes his chances of being independent when he is my age a lot higher. He is doing great. Keep up the good work. You guys are great moms.
I'm autistic and people debated about it my whole life. I was diagnosed at 15. You are so right that it is not negative if he is diagnosed. He's the same person either way! And autism comes with struggles, but it also comes with awesome uniqueness and strengths.
It makes me so happy that Jayden has such loving and supportive parents and that you've been so positive about his personality and possible autism diagnosis from the beginning. Your kids are truly lucky to have that support, no matter what the label (or lack of) is. We were told that I was on the spectrum when I was 8 and my mom REFUSED to accept the diagnosis, denied it happened, and therefore I missed out on a lot of the support and services that likely would have helped. 💙
Ebony you are ON POINT! You are the epitome of a great mom(mommy as your kids refer to you as) and are doing what every parent and person should do by seeing the child for them and not their potential/ concrete diagnosis. I resect that so much as I too have a disability and think it is very important to look at all aspects of a person and not just half or a quarter of what makes up their personality/ being. And also 💙 Keep up the good work💙
I love how you treat your children, both you and your wife, how you raise them teaching them at their own pace and always respecting the way they are, everything about them. As a trans boy, I have not felt much respect from my parents even to my tastes since I was really young, it is so nice you give your children space to grow and develope being themselves.
I'm pretty sure I have autism and I would never have been diagnosed as a child because I would never have "needed" it; my mom probably also is on the spectrum and I did okay in places like school where they usually "catch" autistic kids because the kids start having trouble but otherwise I had my different-than-general needs met. It's all a spectrum so some autistic people will be more noticeable and some won't be, and so I think it's awesome Jayden will keep getting access to those services if they're helping him because I think all kids should have access to what helps regardless of diagnosis or not. I love how y'all move with each individual child at their own pace because imo that's the most important part of child raising that sometimes gets overlooked in favor of general milestones. And blue heart emoji bc I'm on laptop, but keep up the good work! I can't imagine potty training one boy let alone two LOL
Yes he is very smart. So adorable. I've watched kids as a preschool teacher and a Nanny. He may have a problem w speech but he knows colors, identifying objects etc. Great job Moms!!
My nephew is autistic he's 5 years old and he is yet to talk and he still can't feed himself yet (other than like finger foods) but he's very smart and a loving kid. Jayden (I hope I spelled his name right. Correct me if I'm wrong.) seems like my nephew but in different ways. Just the way he acts reminds me of my nephew Dominic. Dominic is at the low functioning end of the spectrum so obviously there is gonna be differences between the two as, if Jayden is on the spectrum, no kids are the same and they may fall into different places. Just remember that his diagnoses or lack thereof doesn't change who he is as a person, in fact it's part of what makes him who he is. It doesn't mean anything is wrong with him or that he's slow or anything it just means he's different in his own way and has his own challenges he has to face. He seems like a smart and loving kid and I believe with y'all working with him he'll be able to do whatever he sets his mind to. Sorry for the long comment but anyway I just wanted to say I wish you all the best and I love watching y'all's videos! Keep on doing your thing!
He is just like my son! My boy is 17 yrs now but he still has his ticks. Lines up his train collection, tiptoe walks and flaps his hands when he is tired or excited, ahead of kids his age, isn't a big touchy feely person, loves to talk about his favorite things ( science, math, mechanics, and trains ) , shows his love differently but makes sure he knows you know, etc..... anyway I feel like you guys are doing amazing! When my guy was potty training it did take a while. He would do okay during the day after about 3 yrs and at night he didn't fully potty train till 5 yrs. We would put cheerios in the toilet and have him practice aiming! He loved it and quickly learned after introducing the cheerios! Good luck! Keep up the great parenting!
Autism spectrum disorder is misdiagnosed a lot of time, but it's also a good thing to get diagnosed early. I was diagnosed when I was in my early 20's and I wish I was diagnosed a long time before. 💙
I completely forgot I was subscribed to you until I found this video and remembered how much I love watching you all, all the kids are so grown up now!! Love you all🥺
I have autism myself and whatever his diagnosis is, I support you guys. We need more resources for people with Autism and people with ADHD (and those of us who have both.)
I love your updates on the twins. We are a two mom family with a son very close in age. He also may have autism! Also really struggling with potty training! Solidarity!!! 💙 Your family is beautiful!
💙 Way to go Jayden! He seems to be making excellent progress with the help of services as well as the patience & love from mommy, mama, big sis & twin brother. I also love the fact that he eats different variations of the same food (chicken nuggets from McDonald’s, store bought, home made) that helps tremendously with eating different textured foods. I love you guys!!
💙💙💙 These are literally videos of my son 5 years ago! He has PDD-NOS, and after 2 years or so of OT/ST/ABA, he “graduated” out of them and has been top of his neurotypical class ever since. The services are the key to a boundless future, and I know Jayden will thrive just as much as my son. Y’all are doing amazing!
My daughter mia is on the spectrum mild to classic, she’s sooo smart, she was diagnosed at three she’s five now,, she did early intervention and let me tell u she is a chatterbox now!!! Early intervention is the best thing!!! She also lines things up or gather things in one spot
My son has Asperger An Autism spectrum disorder, it's the milder form of Autism. Jaden reminds me of my son when he was little I put my son T.J in every program there was to help him flourish... You Team2Moms are doing excellent before you know Jaden will take off right before your eyes.... luv you guy's💙💙💙💙💙
These children are very smart, plus have two great moms that teach them how to be caring, thoughtful and understanding to the world around them. They are very lucky children.
I love theses videos I have to kids in special needs classes and I love seeing other moms with they’re kids teaching them and learning from other mommas out there
My son has autism and he is nine years old going on ten and he has excelled a lot and he just got Diagnosed with autism on October 31 2019 and it was hard for me to get him help now he has speech and occupational therapy I’ve been fighting for his services. Thank you for sharing
No matter the diagnosis the most important thing is continuing his services as you both already are !!! Kudos to that because the earlier the intervention the better the outcome !! Hence why early intervention services are so important & crucial to ensuring he continues meeting & exceeding his developmental milestones ! 💙💙💙💙 great job to you Ebony & Denise !
Jayden is making wonderful progress! You're right it doesn't matter whether he's autistic or not. Just that he's getting the help he needs. Thank you so much for the update 💙!
If you feel as if he still needs care, but school is saying that he is aged out or test at standard level... Do not settle for that!!! I fought for 4years to get my daughter on an individualized education plan. The school and in particular the principal kept saying she would never qualify. I'm so glad you have a team for him now, but in my state, my kids qualified for therapists until age 3 and then they age out and the school system is supposed to step in . It was never maid public knowledge and still isn't that there are waiver programs available and check into your particular states qualification and guidelines, but the waiting list can be several years for certain types. For instance the Michelle P. Waiver is at least 3 but up to 6. You have a better chance if you get a different waiver first, and still be on the waiting list for another.
💙💙💙 you took the words right out of my mouth! Autism is a spectrum and while a diagnosis is important for getting the help you need- once you have the support you need, it’s just a label. Either way so glad to see little Jayden thriving ☺️💙
My son is 2 he will be 3 in may he to my surprise was potty trained by 2 and a half he is stubborn so it shocked me he potty trained so easy... by now he knows and identifies his letters, knows his colors, shapes, numbers.... Jayden is so smart and adorable, I hope potty training gets easier...
Gosh I don't miss potty training our son.🙃 Although he caught on to peeing in the potty pretty quickly. Pooping was a different experience completely. What ended up working best was combination of reading potty books, a potty chart with a sticker for pee & two for poop, we'd all sing a song about having gone potty, and what really encouraged going poop (which seemed to scare him) a special sweet treat - m&m's worked great! We also had the same flushing potty that you had. So yea... We did ALL the things and they worked! Best of luck with training your kiddos. Cause it's so true that every kid is on their own time and can't be rushed or compared to others.🙂 PS- Miss Olivia is getting so big! 💙
You have a beautiful family! Jaden is doing quite well my son was diagnosed with ADHD as child he’s an awesome adult (if I do say so myself) now. So all things are possible through work and pray!💙
💙 I’m a proud aunt to two fantastic twin boys. They are non verbal and now they are 12. You guys are rocking it like my amazing lil sister that I look up to!! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
💙 Olivia I love your sweater. I wish it came in adult size, pretty. Jaden is doing well. My son had a speech delay, he is now 25 and we can not shut him up and so smart. I love how much jaden is talking. You said he is more advanced than Lucas. Just wondering why that might be? Is Lucas struggling to grasp or stay focused? Also wondering if Lucas feels different about anything since jaden has a team and goes to different school and is working on different things he isn’t?
Omg! I love your kids! You and Denise are the best freaking Moms and I'm sorry Jayden, Lucas and Olivia are like my secret little homies... my wife and I adore watching all of you grow and the love you all share. You ladies must be proud of all of them, freaking smart as heck🤯🤯🤯🤯🥰🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂💕💕💕💕💕💕🐱

Love your family. 💙 All wonderfully, intelligent and adorable children. I like your hat style Jayden 😎
I love watching all your videos! The content is awesome and constantly interesting. 💙💙
