I’m a simple collector and unfortunately, we don’t have cards shows too often in my country. I’m always wondering why there isn’t such thing as a secure binder, something you wouldn’t be able to get a card off without the help of the vendor. Watching videos like yours puzzles me.
@@GengarousCollectibles Given that business has become a huge part of the hobby, I’m surprised it doesn’t exist yet. Even I as a collector would buy such a binder with zero chance for dust to get in and let’s say an anti-UV treatment.

Been managing 3 years retail and people have tell tell signs when there up to shit sitting in a aisle 10 min looking around walking back and forth from one to another again. Grabbing random stuff and unusual amounts. He did the look at the vendor like 5 times from his face being down you can see his eyes dart to the guy multiple times befor he does it at 5:08 or so lol it’s a tell for any thief to look around because they are checking for the time to strike meanwhile a real customer doesn’t have darting eyes 👀 there looking at the product and not the seller
Both of your videos have shown one thing to look out for... if anyone comes to your table with something in one of their hands... that says in their hands while looking thru your binder... they are probably gonna try and steal a card. So just ask folk to set their stuff down if they wanna look thru your binders.
yes sir after this second thief i have started to ask empty hands and 1 card at a time and i dont check anything of yours until you are done checking the binder
That is messed up. Disappointing. Thank you for bringing this to light. You tried to be a nice guy, but bringing this to light really helps other small businesses ❤
Personally I think vendors should not do binders anymore too easy for people to steal if someone is requesting lower end stuff than just pull it out by request instead of leaving it out for everyone to go through
you just dont have enough room if you have slabs, but yeah its kinda hard situation to deal with. just gotta be better and not let anyone have anything in their hand and pay full attention if someone has the binder in their hands
I saw how he did it. He sat the box down on the card he wanted. Took it out with the finger under the box and used the lip at the bottom of the box to conceal it. The pattern for the thieves is something is always in their hand to help them conceal. Might have a rule that they have to sit stuff down in order to look through the open binder.

@@JoseSoto-zg4dn yeah definitely have some good experience doing it. Thanks for the support brother
vendor pov super effective against thieves
It is a must nowadays
His eyes, how he keeps looking at you sneaky, like a psycho.😂
Hahaha yeah its hilarious 👀👀👀🤣
Shame how we have these people within the comminity. Stay vigilant.
Yeah they are all over the place
I watched the vid and im like i cant see him stealing at all then i watched it again and omg he is smooth with it
Yeah man especially with the first card is hard to tell, the second one you can see it cuz he was struggling to pull the card
Change the books so the bars have to be inserted from the top. Sideways insertion of the cards is an easy way to steal.
Yeah thats true but i havent found any binders that have those and are for top loaders
Great video man keep up the good work!
@@emiliosanchez3309 thank you!
The crazy part is that he stole from you using the same technique with the tin bro then still uses that to try and steal from 405 ! 🤷🏽🤦🏽♂️😂👊🏼
Yeah after telling me he praying and stuff and wanted forgiveness
If i go to a card show with high dollar psa graded cards 1st base set what is the % of going market should i expect booths to pay?
I would be asking at least 80%, if you want you can hit me up on IG or Facebook and i can take a look what you have and give you an offer if needed
5:05 slickkk
definitely
I’m a simple collector and unfortunately, we don’t have cards shows too often in my country.
I’m always wondering why there isn’t such thing as a secure binder, something you wouldn’t be able to get a card off without the help of the vendor.
Watching videos like yours puzzles me.
yeah that would be a good idea for the binder manufacturers
@@GengarousCollectibles Given that business has become a huge part of the hobby, I’m surprised it doesn’t exist yet.
Even I as a collector would buy such a binder with zero chance for dust to get in and let’s say an anti-UV treatment.
Imagine catching a charge for stealing pokemon cards. Smh
Yeah it's crazy how people dont think at all
I think it was appropriate to give him a second chance to reform. But him trying to steal again was the time for him to learn. I think you did a good job with this situation.
thanks for the nice words and yeah thats what i was thinking too but i guess some people dont know when to stop
Sorry this happened to you. Pushes the price up for honest folks.
Man some people do not deserve a second chance. Should have zero tolerance.
He wasn't sorry for his actions, he was sorry he was caught.
yeah, I definitely knew that, never bought into his lies if you see my responses, was just trying to get my money back and also do good and give someone a second chance. As you can see karma gets to you really quick. Some people dont understand that you will get what you deserve from life.
This is so sad man. I love trading and buying cards it’s not really a hobby that warrants stealing. I know there are thieves everywhere but damn dude. Sorry your going through this again man
@@jonic7253 yeah recently has been going crazy. Hopefully it ends soon. It sucks but at least i got my money back this time.
Been managing 3 years retail and people have tell tell signs when there up to shit sitting in a aisle 10 min looking around walking back and forth from one to another again. Grabbing random stuff and unusual amounts. He did the look at the vendor like 5 times from his face being down you can see his eyes dart to the guy multiple times befor he does it at 5:08 or so lol it’s a tell for any thief to look around because they are checking for the time to strike meanwhile a real customer doesn’t have darting eyes 👀 there looking at the product and not the seller
yea you definitely right, i just couldnt see his eyes from my POV but i was also not paying 100% attention to him too
Will you be at the card show at Mohegan Sun in November?
no sir unfortunately that is way too far for me
@@GengarousCollectibles oh ok, your videos are fun to watch so I was going to seek you out. Appreciate the reply!
@@vahidrvahidr anytime, appreciate the support 🙏
That’s great we are calling these people out finally ❤
Yes sir
Both of your videos have shown one thing to look out for... if anyone comes to your table with something in one of their hands... that says in their hands while looking thru your binder... they are probably gonna try and steal a card. So just ask folk to set their stuff down if they wanna look thru your binders.
yes sir after this second thief i have started to ask empty hands and 1 card at a time and i dont check anything of yours until you are done checking the binder
They have to ban the carrying of those card box. So many people use that method of covering the card that they want with the box just to steal it.
So easy… a child? Can’t hold cards/binders. No products on hands while looking at cards and no phones until they talk to you 1 on 1 on a deal
yeah def have implemented those after this
Swiped at 5:08. He slides the tin onto the blinder to lift the card, then he flips blinder pages on top to conceal the lift even further.
Yeah he stole 2 cards
Most of people miss the first one he stole in the beginning like 30 seconds before this one
@@GengarousCollectiblesoh shoot, I didn’t even notice the first.
@@Laughy-Flaaffy yeah that's why I said he is smooth with it
Wtf another team rocket in disguise😂
haha yeah they are all out in full power since the new set is coming next year lol
That is messed up. Disappointing.
Thank you for bringing this to light. You tried to be a nice guy, but bringing this to light really helps other small businesses ❤
yes sir, i tried my best and he didnt respect it
Personally I think vendors should not do binders anymore too easy for people to steal if someone is requesting lower end stuff than just pull it out by request instead of leaving it out for everyone to go through
you just dont have enough room if you have slabs, but yeah its kinda hard situation to deal with. just gotta be better and not let anyone have anything in their hand and pay full attention if someone has the binder in their hands
Yep he was smooth with it
Dude is always getting his stuff stolen
what can i do, must be an easy target
@@GengarousCollectiblesit’s okay g you take it very well in stride, you not a snitch you bringing awareness, you working hard for your shit, no one should be allowed to just take it from u
I'm not a card collector but seeing stuff like this happening in other collecting spaces makes me mad.
Yeah it sucks
If there was even a few moments where you looked at someone looking at your products it would have been obvious he was trying to be a thief..... it was easy to see in his eyes
from my pov i couldnt see his eyes tbh but i definitely learned a lot from this happening
Not that stealing is ever okay..but a grown adult Supposedly in med school caught stealing. Ya gotta have him arrested
He paid for what he stole and was under the amount needed to press charges
Unfortunately we keep doctor students as upstanding citizens, and are as bad as any thug thief. I had a food delivery to some guy named Pulkit V. At the Ramble & Rose apartments on Hemphill and Rosedale Fort Worth …. As soon as I left the looser order he reported as NOT RECEIVED, getting me suspended. I called the next day to the office since some apartment complex have zero tolerance on this behavior, they could care less 😅 so what I do… went on social media since I had plenty of free time now, found him on UA-cam and instagram turned out he was a student at the time now a doctor, yet I was left without a source of income…. MF!!!!
Sorry to hear about you going through same shit brother
That scumbag needs to be fully exposed as the thief he is. If he wants to be a doctor, one can only imagine the kind of dishonest practices he would engage in if it's lurative for him, with complete disregard for his patients. Please, expose him.
yeah definitely scary
He ruined his own future
Yep, even after getting a second chance
Internet do your thing !! Let's find this sicko
@@rattanack1413 already found but not the name haha
Just sad most of the Pokémon community is wonderful and amazing people! Sorry but thieves are everywhere unfortunately! Love the content and I'm now subbed!
Yeah man one of the best communities for sure! Appreciate the support 🙏
Unfortunately their thief’s in the world. Remember being a kid and having that one kid stealing from you. Same shit they never grow up
Kinda yeah. I would have assumed they would stop once they get caught but i guess it doesn't
@@GengarousCollectibles no unfortunately not even as adults.
@@FAwkABxuster13 yeah 😕
Not the first time I've seen people steal this way. They also keep their personal cards in hand and mix the cards they steal in with their stack.
Yep is getting more and more common
The answer to your problem is there ask them to not have a tin in their hand when going through single cards
Yeah after this show i dont allow anyone have anything in their hands
I'd be honored to purchase an item from you good sir. Good people still exist!
@@ambassador724 thanks man, appreciate the support and you really dont need to. Nonetheless if it's what you want feel free to reach out to me on Facebook or Instagram and we can work something out.

Lol 😅
What a thief
Yeah
W vid, love the content and keep it up
Thanks, will do!
Where do you check for the prices ?
Tcg player for raw cards and ALT app for slabs
So his apologies r AI or googled. That’s why they r similar. He definitely evil laughing while copying and pasting 😈 and as far as his confidence and skill of stealing he probably a natural which is why he keeps doing it. He knows he’s good at it. Maybe his favorite anime antagonists r team rocket 😂 me and my bro collected when Pokemon cards 1st started and there use to be Pokémon tournaments in the basement of r local comic/card shop. Basically 2 rows of school lunch tables with just 1 small walking path down the middle. I would have me or my bro distract someone while the other walked past with a rolling backpack u would see ppl with at the airports with it open and slide their entire books of cards in it as we walked by. This was r 1st time stealing. U get a rush from accomplishing that type of heist. My bro would keep the cards we didn’t have and I would sell the others at the same place we stole them from and buy more cards and weed for me. At the age of 11 and 13. If he’s doing those type of apologies he has done them a lot and been stealing a long time though 😂
Yeah i would agree with you. Thanks for sharing your story btw

Put painters tape over the slots. Makes it harder to steal and you have a chance to hear the tape pull. Wont damage the binder or the card either
not a bad idea but will probably annoy most of the people...but yeah might think about it
U can tell he does this alot he to smooth wit it
yeah definitely, a few other vendors recognized him and think he has stolen from them previously too they just dont have the proof
