I'm the dude at the end. I wish i kept one of the wrappers so ditto could have uploaded pictures or clips for the video. There were artifacts around the border of the Pokémon logo ,inconsistent fill/gaps in the logo. The entire image looked slightly blurry at first glance. The coloring was slightly off. One of the vendors that bought a fossil pack from the kid made him open the pack to prove authenticity . The cards inside were real fossil cards. The order of the cards in the pack also seemed to be correct. This is when the kid's older brother screamed why did you make me rip it. Upon further inspection the shades of the blue borders on the back of the cards in the same pack were not all the same. The kid eventually opened all of the fossil packs in question once everyone wanted refunds saying they were not authentic. None of the packs had holos even though some of the weights were way over what would be a heavy. My personal conclusion is someone took NM fossil cards, correctly ordered them and repackaged them with fake wrappers. These were the best fake wrapper I have ever seen which was scary. Multiple vendors bought these packs and didn't catch the subtleties until it was brought to light by myself and some other more experienced vendors like ditto. The kids stories also changed multiple times. First it was we got them on what not, then later they said some of them they got at a garage sale "for like 10 dollars each". I have reason to believe these kids could have been tasked to try and offload these questionable packs. The whole situation was sketchy and suspect. I'm glad the community confronted the situation and at least tried to teach the kids. Overall horrible experience because we will never know the truth, if the kids got scammed or if they were part of the scam.

I’ve dealt with people like that before when it comes to retro games, and if they don’t let me properly inspect the item in question, then it’s an immediate no and red flag.
