I have to admit, I've never even dreamed of wanting to own a yacht. I ended up watching one of your videos. Don't ask me how I found it. UA-cam just decided to suggest it I guess. But, I've been watching more and more of your videos and I'm becoming a yacht aficionado and I keep saying, Oh yeah. I like this a lot. This boat could be owner managed too, correct? Lovely. Thanks for all the great tours. I'm hoping this Covid crap will stop and you can once again go through more boats. :-)

Love the gallery position on this one that there aren't repeated dining areas, and even the fly bridge is well set out for drinks. One of my favourite boats so far.
That is one magnificent machine! Absolutely love the styling and layout. "Sport style" boats this size usually comes off as slightly gimmicky, but this one really pulls it off. Putting the galley below decks certainly makes for an extremely nice and roomy main deck. Somehow it manages to look "compact and sporty" and very roomy at the same time if that makes any kind of sence.

11/02/2020 - I watched this about a year ago. I'd been a regular since March 2020 after my furlough. Having been a commercial boater for 15 years - way back - I thought I "knew it all", but NOT. Nick, it's been an enjoyable education. So subtle I never even realized I was actually learning. But I know I was because this video has revealed some "new" data now - stuff I've learned from enjoying the Aquaholic Elixir. Thanks again, Nick

I don't understand why you only have 57.7K subscribers! You provide by far the best boat/yacht tour, with great knowledge of each boat and superb photography. You do this single handed where as others have a team. Even when the boats at a boat show with others on board the boat you still seem to produce a great tour.

Agreed! This is always the problem with boat shows, great for getting the latest models but less good for really detailed info.
In the twin cabins and in one of the crew cabins are pullman's, at least it looked like that?

Another outstanding ship, I can daydream about shoving the throttles wide open and making the tree thousand horsepower push me back in the custom helm station to get up on plane. I imagine at WOT my trip would be very short because those engines can guzzle fuel faster than you can fill the tanks but the speed is worth every gallon of fuel. I love watching your Vlogs Nick, they are bright spots in my day.

Love the colours and the sculptured carpet on the main deck. Princess could take a leaf out of their decorators book as I think the trend will ebb away from masses of wood veneer paneling and go more modern such as we see here and on the Pearl 80.
All about the looks and details this boat they,be thought of everything and everyone,, I love how the Italians do fine engineering done with passion and it's seems like a cheap price when you compare it with others in that class and size of boat

I've been on a few at Southampton Boat Show. Monte Carlo Yachts and Southerly Yachts representatives were very polite and friendly, but I had a bad experience with either Princess or Sunseeker's staff, can't remember which now. Extremely snobby attitude. Not the right way to treat a potential customer.

I do so enjoy your videos Nick, thank you for giving me fodder for my dreams 👍😊 A couple of things you missed mentioning in this video, is that both single guest cabins, each have a pullman berth and that first crew cabin at least, seems to have a pullman berth in as well. This means that this Azimut S8 can sleep up to 10 guests and 3 crew 👍😊 Here is wishing you, your viewers and all their loved ones well during these difficult times, Nick
Beautifull boat. Great layout. One of the rare few that I dont have anything to complain about. They did a great job. As well as yourself in this complete tour.
Now in the first crew cabin that you showed, it appeared to have a pullman bunk going against the wall at the foot of the bed. Not to sure. If it is its perfect for a crew of 3.

The triple engine system is going to be a bit of a fuel guzzler but anyone who can afford this can easily afford the fuel bills.
Great video, and surprised the weather was so awful out at Cannes, you must have wondered where you were? South Coast perhaps
Actually much more efficient than normal shaft drives - Volvo claim
40% longer cruising range
20% higher top speed
30% reduced fuel consumption
30% less CO2 emissions
50% lower perceived noise
So of course that must be right :)
And the IPS drives need less space compared to shaft drives. Due to that it's easier to position them in the yachts/boats

the italian design makes all the money and first time when i see driving seath for 2 positions.
also having 3 engines is a plus in case of 2 break down you still have one to go, i`m imagining that these engines, servos and equipment don`t break down because they are all top notch quality materials manufactured.
first time when I see a giro installed must be fun see that thing at work. when all of your neigbours are swinging like crazy you put cup of cofee on deck and admire the movement around you :))
