The nicest 72 I've viewed. Best layout - clever crew quarters, laundry area and engine access. Surprises in the cabins as well, what with that last stateroom having it's own on suite (sp). And the design is pretty, while being bold as well - timeless design. And, of course, it would have been nothing without a personal guided AQUAHOLIC tour, with all the banter that makes it real. Not a cheap boat but what a beauty! One of my top favorites. Azimut is unbeatable when it comes to styling, materials and finish. And it drives well for sure. A serious boat for serious money.

Absolutely gorgeous boat. Probably my favourite. Although: for this price I’d really expect the stairs to the cabins to NOT creak! That was the only disappointing thing. Apart from that: I want it!
I appreciate Nick's insight and ability to capture the yachts in great detail. I watch other videos of other youtubers and they are not good. Poor utilization of their great DSLR's and mics. Yet Nick is able to use a GoPro and does a magnificent job recording this stunning yachts.

I Fell in love with these Italian designed boats a few months ago, I'm really interested in the Cranchi 78 and Azimut 78 you toured a few weeks ago. I prefer the materials, colors, and finish of this Azimut 72 over the 78 though. Coming from Yachts for Sale's new video on the Rossinavi and Pininfarina designs which are stunning but I don't see myself being able to purchase those magnificent floating art pieces anytime soon. Keep the great videos coming, love your channel.
Now this is a beautiful boat. Big enough to owner operate, but have the comfort and space to have friends & family on for a (short) stay, and super stylish as well. If I had the money to get one of these, I sure would, but my wife isn't keen on being at sea on much bigger boats, let alone smaller, so she'd only be on it while moored 🙄 Love the quality of your videos, long enough to show all that's needed, without dragging it out like some others do 👍

That’s one lovely boat Nick. If I was in the market for a £2.5 M yacht, I think I would be tempted, that’s a lot of kit for the money. The only way to describe that is as you say sexy, classy and stylish. The princess and sunseekers are lovely too but I do like that Italian styling. I was walking past the official Riva dealer at St Tropez last year and those Riva’s looked sexy too. Again you sell that lifestyle. Fantastic. 👍

@Aquaholic I love the quality of your videos. Always precise and on point. A great boat, I would say, with an amazing design overall. A few things I would change: 1. The color finish, it should be darker and a little more shiny with bright LEDs. It would give it more luxurious feel. 2. The upper deck could use a small Jacuzzi as there are too many seating areas. Or at least maybe a sun deck that could covert to Jacuzzi. 3. The crew could use a little more decent facility for themselves. Too small, shower separate, right next to the engine room (Worthy of slaves). You certainly don't want a crew that is cursing you all the way, while you're enjoying luxury. As always, thank you for the great videos 💋😍

You're right - it's an impressive use of 72ft. They've got the balance right between cabin size and entertaining areas. So many provide berthing for 6 or 8 and entertaining room for 100. I'd much rather that my guests have excellent accommodation and nice social areas for drinks/dinner etc. This is an excellent layout.
Lovely interior, as was the S8 you reviewed last year. You can tell its Italian just by looking at the cushions! (I particularly like the yellow ones :-)) "Underneath here....nothing at all" was a classic!
Azimut always had such an elegant and unique design for their yachts. I remember visiting boat show in Croatia with my dad in early 2000 and seeing the Azimut 70 Sea Jet. That was a love on first sight! Thank you for lovely review Nick, keep up the great work! Greetings from Croatia :)

Agree azumit have gone downhill! 10 years ago they were the very best but nowadays not so much! Also they use this carbon fibre marketing claiming the top half of the vessel is carbon fibre but they dont say how much of it is actually carbon!? In reality its just little bits hear and there but market it as the top half of the vessel is carbon fibre! And as for those stairs its not acceptable on a 2.7 million dollar vessel to have stairs that sound very unprofessionally built! And to not even care when the boat is on show at a major yachting show proves the brand has taken a dive in quality! I dont care what anybody says if i was in the market for a boat of this size and price and i walked on those stairs id turn around and leave the boat and not look on another of their range and erase azimut of my list of a potential purchases! Very poor thats what a boat of 10 to 20 years of age sounds like not a brand new boat! Very poor azimut! Unacceptable! If my boat was delivered sounding like that id be thinking oh no what have i wasted 2.7 million on! 🛥⚓
@ALSO-RAN ! your very wrong my parents own a ferritti and its build quality is of another level! When it was delivered if it squeaked like that my parents would not have accepted it period! And to say others who have spent multiple million dollars on a vessel would not care is absolutely absurd! And to say its because its on stands and not in the water were did you come up with that? Did you just think that up yourself ? Why do all the other boats he walks through at shows on stands not squeak? Its without question poor build quality and to have it at an international boat show is a real shame for such an iconic brand! My parents were told by several parties that azimut have dropped in quality measures and to keep away and this absolutely backs up those recommendations ! My parents yacht is now 2 years old and not 1 squeak anywhere! The odd rattle when under way from cutlery ect but even in solid seas nothing! If you had 2.5 million ready to purchase and you walked on those stairs your telling me it would not bother you? Thats 2.5 million you worked your whole life for! They say the things to look at on a boat is what you cant see! Thats what counts when your in the middle of the ocean with heavy seas and a life raft! You want to no your safe thats of the highest priority! Build quality is number 1 and asthetics second! Happy safe sailing ⚓

I must say I’m very impressed and taken by this beauty. I just saw the tour of the 50 you did that was going for £700K I think and then stumbled on this. I was curious as to why this would be £2 Million more. Now I see why. I guess I need to check out the S8 next and see why that one is £1 million more than this beauty. All I can say is WOW 😮! Bravo!
How incredible would it be to walk in there with the ability to buy such a spectacular yacht. Where did I go wrong! 😭😉. I was fortunate enough to grow up on the Three Rivers in Pittsburgh PA and had 3 boats at one time, one being a 98’x32’ side wheeler that my father and I never got to finish. A 1982 Ski Nautique and a 28’ mid 80’s Carver Mariner. To have this kind of money though 🤯 definitely what dreams are made of. Keep up the great work/play!
Release the Socken's! Everything is as you would expect and better. The Hull paint is awesome, the large square window port, not so much. Whomever decided on the sink taps and valves base installed off the vertical well is a genius. It not only adds some style, it saves space, and it will make maintenance far easier. Tender options? Rear platform, maybe aft deck Flybridge?

Oh Nick, it is a really nice boat, love the styling, but I must admitted, since watching your videos, I’m more a Princess Y85 man myself. But, the best in this video for me at 6:50, looking for the external controls I quote “and under here.... nothing at all”, I can believe possibly what you were expecting, to find on the contrary, I could not help myself from busting in to laughter, its the way you sounded, keep calm and carry on the tour. I’ve watched that moment a few times, just cracks me up. Definitely gave this a thumbs up. Loving the coverage of the show 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 P.S. thought they would have given a show boat ‘squeak free’ stairs??? I wouldnt want my boat to do that no matter the price.

I guess thus beeping noise is a warning that the yacht is in very shallow waters. Other yachts in the the area beeping that too. :-) The boat itself is, like you already say " Everything on it is stylish". Very nice cabins and for one person the crew area is good too.
Great vid as always Nick. Beautiful boat but my heart always sinks when the crew don’t have a proper shower space. It’s the one thing for me to judge whether they’ve absolutely nailed all the use of space or not.

My parents yacht is now 2 years old and not 1 squeak anywhere! The odd rattle when under way from cutlery ect but even in solid seas nothing! If you had 2.5 million ready to purchase and you walked on those stairs your telling me it would not bother you? Thats 2.5 million you worked your whole life for! They say the things to look at on a boat is what you cant see! Thats what counts when your in the middle of the ocean with heavy seas and a life raft! You want to no your safe thats of the highest priority! Build quality is number 1 and asthetics second! Happy safe sailing ⚓
Ya I was thinking the same. Some might say it isn't a big deal but that is just one issue we are noticing. What else is wrong that we don't see or know about yet?
@ALSO-RAN ! I have brought my car back to the dealership multiple times for a rattle. It is nowhere near as expensive as this.

I must say I’m very impressed and taken by this beauty. I just saw the tour of the 50 you did that was going for £700K I think and then stumbled on this. I was curious as to why this would be £2 Million more. Now I see why. I guess I need to check out the S8 next and see why that one is £1 million more than this beauty. All I can say is WOW 😮! Bravo!

How incredible would it be to walk in there with the ability to buy such a spectacular yacht. Where did I go wrong! 😭😉. I was fortunate enough to grow up on the Three Rivers in Pittsburgh PA and had 3 boats at one time, one being a 98’x32’ side wheeler that my father and I never got to finish. A 1982 Ski Nautique and a 28’ mid 80’s Carver Mariner. To have this kind of money though 🤯 definitely what dreams are made of. Keep up the great work/play!

Release the Socken's! Everything is as you would expect and better. The Hull paint is awesome, the large square window port, not so much. Whomever decided on the sink taps and valves base installed off the vertical well is a genius. It not only adds some style, it saves space, and it will make maintenance far easier. Tender options? Rear platform, maybe aft deck Flybridge?

Oh Nick, it is a really nice boat, love the styling, but I must admitted, since watching your videos, I’m more a Princess Y85 man myself. But, the best in this video for me at 6:50, looking for the external controls I quote “and under here.... nothing at all”, I can believe possibly what you were expecting, to find on the contrary, I could not help myself from busting in to laughter, its the way you sounded, keep calm and carry on the tour. I’ve watched that moment a few times, just cracks me up. Definitely gave this a thumbs up. Loving the coverage of the show 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 P.S. thought they would have given a show boat ‘squeak free’ stairs??? I wouldnt want my boat to do that no matter the price.

The boat itself is, like you already say " Everything on it is stylish". Very nice cabins and for one person the crew area is good too.

Great vid as always Nick. Beautiful boat but my heart always sinks when the crew don’t have a proper shower space. It’s the one thing for me to judge whether they’ve absolutely nailed all the use of space or not.
