I remember this song from my youth. Never thought I would hear a banjo version of it but I simply love it! I am going to learn this song! Thank you for the inspiration!
Thanks. I can’t take credit for the arrangement - I learned it from a video by Bill Knopf on his UA-cam channel P47ROCKS. I hear it’s extremely difficult to play on the guitar, but it’s pretty easy on the banjo.
@@banjogranny9156 As a bad guitar player who's touched a banjo a few times, I just think banjo players are way better at picking due to the nature of the instrument. A lot of guitar riffs are way easier to pick than basic banjo songs.
Oh. My. Gosh!! I have wanted to play this song forever, but never considered tossing the guitar aside and trying it on the banjo! LOVE IT! Since I found your channel you have been such an inspiration....thank YOU! ❤
@@banjogranny9156 forgive me, in my excitement of hearing one of my favourite songs arranged for the banjo I did not watch my language. I'll be sure to be more careful in the future ♥️
That was super cool! I wasnt expecting that to work out so well. Have to get the GoldTone tuned up and give it a go. Ive been focused on the mandolin for most of this year and could use a change. Thanks for sharing.
I really have to learn this. This is my favorite song and you have arranged it perfectly for the banjo.... I would love a tutorial on this. I'd be happy to pay for your time if you would be willing to help me out on this one. Let me know if your interested. Matthew P Tolley A budding banjo player and loving fan of Lindsay Buckingham.

It used to be available on his website billknopf.net, but I don’t see any tabs there now. His website has an option to contact him at his email address. Maybe he still sells tab on request.
I've never tried teaching, and I'm not sure if I would have the patience for it. I learned this from UA-cam Channel P47ROCKS and purchased the tab through Banjo Newsletter for $2.00. banjonews.com/1995-07/never_going_back_again.html

This song played on banjo makes so much sense! I can't believe nobody ever thought of it before. Played with a lot of care and restraint. Nice work!

Very nice. Anyone who plays guitar or banjo knows how amazing Lindsey Buckingham is on the original. Bravo
Thanks. And yes, Lindsey Buckingham is amazing. I wouldn’t even attempt this song on the guitar.

Really Love listening to songs you play. 💖. Do you play in open public jams?
Thanks! I’ve played a few times in a local jam, but then they had to move to a different location that is too far away.

So fine! You nailed this one. Now I've gotta go try and work it out! Key of C?
Yes, G tuning, and I assume key of C. (Music theory is not my strong suit!)
