nice explaining...and nice to know you're german I was trying to put your accent, I'm going there for the second time next summer achieving a dream for the second time of attending wacken open air. I experienced something wonderful the first time around in 2023, we should not have entered because of the mudfest that was happening, I had rejoined my friends in hamburg as I had other matters in europe to do beforehand. When the admission stop was announced we were devastated planning for a year and flying 6000 km to get there. Went to lubeck on the wednesday but our heart wasn't in it which I regret a bit cause the city is beautiful. The thursday the guys decided we were going to berlin...I was just back from berlin, don't get me wrong I loved it but I didn't want to go back there, I was so mad at them, at pretty much everything, didn't say a word to my friends got in the car put a movie on my phone and headphone in my ears and I kid you not I cannot recall the title or even a frame of that movie cause the only thing I saw was a picture of our 3 hands with the wacken wristband around our wrist. We arrived in berlin, I'm still pissed, still not talking, we had bought our metro tickets then on the ramp one of my friend break the absces we started talking...I wanted to go and try to enter at the fest and let them say no to our faces, one didn't really care and found it a funny story to say he's been in berlin 10 minutes and the other was whining as we did the 3h30 drive. I proposed a compromise, I went to see some stuff I didn't have the time to see the first time around, guided them to what they wanted to see... we met back at the car an hour later, got back to hamburg in like 2 hours 15 (thanks the autobahn) changed up, got to the fest. They gave us our wristbands, never even acknowledging the arrival stop and I took that picture of our 3 hands with the wrist bands and it's exactly how I pictured it and is one of my most cherish picture of my whole trip. Damn I didn't expect to rant this long but yeah next summer I'll make sure to take the means to not have that happening again haha edit: yes I know my rant is not related to affirming and was about the fact that you are from germany but well I think that this manifestation against all odd can still be inspiring to people :)

@@SimplyCreateWithElle well no offense here but you don't strike me as a metal fan haha but I think wacken is really special in the sense that I've never been to a festival with that kind of nice crowd like everybody is there for the same reason to have a good time and enjoy this moment all together, no shit, no drama. And yes even though I was disappointed at first that I ended up missing part of it, another friend of mine who was there said we didn't miss anything much as the weather was really awful...well I didn't need my rain gear once while I was there so I had nice weather. I don't know yet what I will visit next though, last year I went to dresden, berlin, hamburg and wacken...any special gem a you'd recommend I check out next summer?
Haha, you’re right! If you like city tours, check out Schwerin and Görlitz. I mean there are so many beautiful cities such as Trier, Heidelberg, Nürnberg… It’s hard to choose 😂
You don't sound german at all! 😅 I'm german too but your english sounds more like the english my french friends speak 😅 I love your accent! ❤
And I know what you mean with the word "magnetic". In german it just sounds weird and more technical. This is why i prefer to affirm in english, it gives the affirmations a better vibe. More soft and easy.
So I'm just curious. Did you affirm in german? And did your boyfriend say "Du bist magnetisch?"
I mean, that would be even more extraordinary because it's soooo unusual to say something like that to another person 😄
Haha, that’s because I grew up abroad and lived in different countries. I thought about it at the time and tried to affirm in German but it made no sense to me. So although I mostly did it in English, my bf said it to me in German. That’s the reason why I was gobsmacked 😂 and he as well because people don’t speak this way.
