- Our stations from our three day visit when we ventured back up to Newcastle to just to cover the last remaining stations on the Tyne Valley Line, along with some more least used stations including Tee Side Airport and British Steel Redcar, this all took some fair planning but we pulled it off! We finish our week in Yorkshire with some more least used stations, enjoy!

May I ask tho, As there’s no legal public entrances or exits from the station except by train, what kept you amused for 8 and a half hours?
This is a very small known thing about the station, from May last year there is two trains in the morning and they are 30 minutes apart, although it meant getting up really early I could use the station without trespassing! the trains are at 07:57 and 08:24
A Modern UK Railway Ahh. Thank you. I thought there was only one in each direction. 7:38 from Darlington and not sure of the exact time of the return but I was led to believe the one stopping westbound at RBS did so 8and a half hours after the eastbound train had arrived. Obviously that’s wrong.

@@amodernukrailway267 Oh yes I was wondering the same. So, could you give the details of the exact trains you took to and from Redcar Steel? (getting up really early, though a pain, would be worth the trip, aye?)
@@JackDSparrow Hello, As the first service in the morning is a service heading from Saltburn towards Bishop Auckland (West Bond) this is the 07:41 from Saltburn which arrives at 07:57, I then got the 8:24 back which the second morning service which is a East Bond Service, it is a very early morning job but just to say you have been to what now is the least used station in the UK its worth it!
A Modern UK Railway that's great! can't wait to actually visit here! it's is also of interest because while the station is public access the area surrounding is not and that also makes it a very unique station for me. thanks a lot mate!

@@amodernukrailway267 Officially, the station is being mothballed prior to the redevelopment of the site. Whether it ever opens again, however, remains to be seen.
