Sir hamare sir to kah rahen hain ki agar question me kaha hai ki root 5 irrational hai to bus aapko isme likh deba hai ki root 5 is irrational number hai agar question me nahi diya to aapko pahle root5 ko irrational number prove karke dikhana hai .ye baat sahi hai ya nahi please reply Sir
That's because 3.14..... is the value of pi and not 22/7. 22/7 is just really close to the real value of pi (3.142....). So we assume it as 22/7 to make it easier for solving.
